I all!

Congrats on the good scans but really sorry to hear your news kep Sad

I'm also a serial tester Blush no idea how many I've now done! Bought a small stash of cb digis yesterday as I'm desperate or the 2-3 to go up to 3+. I'm 5+2 I think today. Got a horrid taste in my mouth and a bit of nausea but not a lot.

KnitFastDieWarm · 17/03/2015 16:20

Fx for you bowie

I need to stop poas every day - going slowly bonkers!

BowiesJumper · 17/03/2015 16:44

I've run out of sticks now so won't test anymore, haha!

Thanks all! Still waiting for the EPU to call me with my appointment, I think it can take up to 24hrs for them to call back though. I'm trying not to worry.

Crumbelina · 17/03/2015 16:46

Fingers crossed Bowie - we'll be thinking of you.

Urg - just got off a very demanding conference call with an American client whilst feeling sick and like I wanted to curl up and go to sleep! Does anyone have a stressful job and wonder how they’re going to get through the first trimester at times? I already feel like a bit of a blagger at my job as it is … Blush

AmandaMae · 17/03/2015 16:56

Yes, crumbelina! At 5 pm I'm going in for round 2 with an inveterate navel gazer. I was having a "heated discussion" with him earlier, and could feel myself getting hotter and hotter - after weeks of being cold! It better wrap up quick or the effect of my no-vomit meds will wear off and I will really embarrass myself Blush or burst into tears. Sad

No idea how I will get through this...

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 17/03/2015 17:15

Uuuurgghh - I feel rubbish but, a bit worryingly, sort of periody and stiff. Am 5 weeks today. No cramps and no bleeding and still feel sick so hoping all is OK. Despite being pregnant twice in the last three years, am now wracking my brain to try and remember if I felt like this exactly Confused. Have dine another internet cheapie test and came up immediately and very darkly so hope that's a sign all is ok.

bowler - got everything crossed for you

crumbelina - we are about to embark on a loft extension so you have my sympathies. Just the thought of clearing the loft makes me want to cry

In fact, I seem to swing between feeling deliriously happy and wanting to sob on an hourly basis. Confused

Babs10 · 17/03/2015 17:29

I can't stop crying! I keep bubbling at everything and it's the smallest stupid things but I can't stop, please does the emotional bit get easier? In both my jobs I need to be "strong" which isn't happening! ??

CoffeeTwo · 17/03/2015 17:32

Crumb my job is pretty intense and I'm dreading it. I just remember last time being the most exhausting few weeks of my life, and now I have a 3 year old in tow Confused

We're trying to sell our house so I'm flitting between happiness about the pregnancy and worry about how it's all going to work out.

My cramps have been alleviated by doing a large fart Blush

Hoping all back to normal now

Lilliana · 17/03/2015 18:09

Hi can I join? I got a BFP today and from the dates I'm due 19th Nov. Sorry not had chance to read the thread but will try to catch up later.

Lilliana 34 #2 DD 19/11

Crumbelina · 17/03/2015 18:17

Ahhh, I feel reassured that others are going through job and DIY woes - thank you! Hope the stand off went ok, Amanda.

Well done on your parp, Gobbolin. Smile Even if you do get cramping it seems to be normal and I've had a bit over the past few weeks.

Welcome Lilliana and congratulations! Will dig out the stats and add you on.

Babs10 · 17/03/2015 18:18

Crumbelina · 17/03/2015 18:19

mrsscarlettbutler · 17/03/2015 19:32

Evening all and congrats to the new BFPs! I am also starting to worry a bit about work, I am just so tired and feel so sick and the pressure is rather relentless. I just want to stay at home and cry!

Actually today I did stay at home as have come down with a stinking cold which seems to have manifested itself mainly in my throat and chest. It's agony to swallow but if I don't eat the feeling sickness is worse, plus it hurts to cough and I'm worried about vomming when I do. I have quite a severe vomit phobia (and can count on one hand the number of times I can remember throwing up)and am really hoping I won't start being sick. I think it would finish me off!

Don't really feel much better despite having spent the entire day in bed, unheard of for me as usually I lounge on the sofa when ill. So I'm not sure what to do about work tomorrow, or even if I should go to the doctors? I'm pretty sure there's nothing they can do but am a bit worried as it's on my chest. Any suggestions? Only taking paracetamol but it's not really doing much and I'm wary of taking too much (sticking to 2 every 4-6 hours)

pennygirl26 · 17/03/2015 19:54

hi you wonderful lot! can i join i please. i think im due around 13th nov. been trying to catch up and read this post today.

LadyStark · 17/03/2015 20:02

I also have ambitious DIY plans, we are knocking down the back of our house to create big open plan kitchen/dining/living space. I am nervous but we should have builders starting within the next month so should be finished in plenty of time.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well mrsscarlett - have you spoken to pharmacist about what you should and shouldn't take? They may know if there is something else that could help. Definitely the docs if you think it's an infection though.

Welcome Hope and Penny!

Hope you feel better soon MrsScarlett. Sad

Lady, that's exactly what we're doing but our plans are still being drawn up - I'm jealous!

halestone · 17/03/2015 21:10

Welcome to everyone who has had their BFPsGrin

Hope i have a Dd who will be a month away from 3 years old when this one arrives. I am so nervous that my Dd will feel pushed out.

Lady i had a chest infection about 2/3 weeks ago and wasn't allowed to take anything due to GP hating prescribing antibiotics and the pharmacy saying they didn't want to give me cough medicine whilst pregnant. I have never had a chest infection before and it was horrible so you have my sympathyThanks

GotTheKey · 17/03/2015 22:10

Is anyone feeling really bloated? I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and I feel like I'm 6 months !!!!!

notgonnatell · 17/03/2015 22:23

This is going to make me sound like I'm mad but is anyone else really jumpy? Like people sneaking up on you/sudden noises frightening the life out of you? I keep seeing things out of the corner of my eye as well. Hope I'm not the only one and it's a symptom of pregnancy and not just craziness!
