Anyone suffering with their boobs? I was already in a G cup, but even that is feeling a bit tight and my boobs are so sore. Anyone not on the first pregnancy can recommend any bras? I don't think I'll last much longer in my current ones!

Babs10 · 16/03/2015 21:39

Hi guys just came across this and thought I'd join in. Found out yesterday (Mother's Day!) that I'm pregnant. Going on my last period I'm due 16/11 so 5 weeks today but test said 2-3 weeks! All of this is confusing and new to me! Getting confused with all the abbreviations!

TwoBeesInTheHive · 16/03/2015 22:38

ahh I had forgotten about the rage!! I keep catching myself getting annoyed over stupid things. but I'm determined to stay as happy as possible. dh says I was a miserable bitch when I was pregnant with ds and he's right, I was Grin not this time though! well, I'll try my best Wink

halestone · 16/03/2015 22:46

I'll throw my hand in the rage bucket, i am really struggling not to snap at Dp.

Babs welcome there is a list of abbrievations somewhere but i cannot remember where. Also if the cb says 2-3 weeks it means since conception so in reality you are 4-5 weeks pregnant.

tootsroots · 16/03/2015 22:55

Pregancy rage here too!

On reflection I can see this is not normal behaviour.... wanted needed asked for cheese on toast for dinner as I was so ill all day I craved beige food... So dh dropped into shops on way home and bought fancy loaf of bread.

Rage 1- ( mentioned it loudly to the cats ) who buys fancy bread and does not get it sliced by the bakery man?
Rage 2 - then I see he didn't buy cheese I cant remember if I asked him to buy it and only had a little left as he ate it all over the weekend. Talked loudly to the cats about lack of cheese and how shit my slaves are....dh offered to Pop to comer shop and get more... No I wail. I am eating butter oh so much butter on toast and having pesto pasta instead. Scoffed the lot and threw up... He said nothing ... Cats gave me scornful looks. Stomped up to bed.

Welcome babs and congratulations on your BFP!

mrstothemr · 17/03/2015 03:36

Toots, that's so funny... Did similar here. Opted for simple stodge meal, dh offered to make it, but then he tried to make it special by layering the ingredients differently. Came in to ask if I'd like the special version, I believe I may have looked at him agast with 'what? why?! I want normal stodge!' written all over my face. Sometimes you just want what you just want. And don't get me started on how he's incapable of serving hot toast Grin pregnancy makes me desperately unkind

bugoven · 17/03/2015 03:47

Another emcs here with DS. I was induced and 39 hours later he needed to come out "the sunroof" as MIL calls it Smile. I don't have any high hopes this time really was still asking politely for a water birth as I was being wheeled down to theatre just do not want to be induced again.

bugoven · 17/03/2015 03:50

stace my boobs are keeping me awake. They are so big I fear they may suffocate me amd so painful whichever way I lie. As far as I remember this eased a little mid-pregnancy last time and I learned to stay on my side.

stace1986 · 17/03/2015 07:02

Thanks bugoven. Was still awake at 3am as I couldn't get comfortable. Today is going to be a long old day! Fingers crossed it will ease soon.

TheTravellingLemon · 17/03/2015 07:05

Bugoven your experience sounds similar to mine. I've been wondering what to do about c - section vs vbac this time round. I was so disappointed to not have a natural birth with my first, but I'm not going through all of that just to be wheeled off to theatre again. It's a really hard decision.

TheTravellingLemon · 17/03/2015 07:09

Also, has anyone got really different symptoms this time round? With my first pregnancy I had the incredibly sore boobs, but this one I don't at all. In fact, I don't really feel much this time round. I know it shouldn't, but it is starting to make me worry.

mrscatmad31 · 17/03/2015 07:16

Have had to have a new uniform at work as I don't fit in my old one anymore... only 7 weeks tomorrow!
really worried I don't have morning sickness, been reading how it's a sign of a healthy pregnancy

Thumperroo · 17/03/2015 07:16

Same here lemon. Few symptoms at the moment so have started to worry all is not well. However I'm sure I remember nothing then at seven weeks the sickness began. Lets try and stay positive!

TwoBeesInTheHive · 17/03/2015 07:35

well it's getting out there now. dh's has told his brother and his mum, both had a general 'are you insane' type reaction. and I have told by best friend (she was my bfp checker so knew even before dh!) and now my sister who was over the moon. Atleast someone's happy for me Grin

Does anyone else keep forgetting to take their prego vitamins? I've missed 2 days in a row now!

CuntCourtIsInSession · 17/03/2015 07:36

Very sorry to hear your news, kep

I had been worried about my lack of symptoms yesterday (particularly given I managed a 9am-10pm work day) but this morning I have started to feel a bit queasy. Otherwise I feel like my symptoms are gone, which is a bit disconcerting, but there's just nothing I can do either way. I feel slightly more zen about it than I would have expected. Whatever is happening inside my body is totally out of my control.

Babs10 · 17/03/2015 08:18

I'm so sleepy all the time at the moment starting to feel slightly sick in the mornings!

mrscatmad31 · 17/03/2015 08:19

Bans I'm so tired at the moment I could stay in bed all day! actually felt a little bit sick this morning for the first time

Babs10 · 17/03/2015 08:24

Mrscatmad how far are you? If I didn't have to get up for my niece this morning I'm so sure I would have stayed in bed and home to work late x

mrscatmad31 · 17/03/2015 08:42

7 weeks tomorrow :-) how far are you?

Babs10 · 17/03/2015 09:08

5+1 it's all still so new to me! I'll get there eventually. I think my big problem is I'm a worrier like massively over the littlest of things so I'll panic until I get my first scan! Lol. I've got the midwife in 2 weeks, I assume she will organise my 1st scan when I'm there?

mrscatmad31 · 17/03/2015 09:19

I'm seeing the midwife next week (was supposed to be today but I have a funeral) have no idea what happens when

Babs10 · 17/03/2015 09:24

At least I'm not the only one! I just want my scan so I know everything's ok. I've a feeling I'm going to worry right the way through till November! Confused It's still not sunk in especially as it happened so quickly for us. We were only TTC for 6 weeks..... Stopped my pill just before Xmas and boom! Lol. I call him super swimmer now!

mrscatmad31 · 17/03/2015 09:43

same as us! stopped the pill at the end of December so it's been quite quick Smile
