Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Oh lil I'm sorry you have to wait such a long time Sad

I don't have preeclampsia, just fat swollen hot hands! How glamorous! I'm also growing a giant too after all the low PAPP A and notches stress, they're worried he will be too big Hmm he's had a growth spurt the last fortnight and is off the scale head and abdominal circumferences, and is 4 pound 2 already Shock

batfish · 16/02/2015 18:16

Aww lil I'm so sorry you are going through this, I can't believe there isn't anything they can do before a week, they must realise that is a year in newly-upduffed-and-things-not-looking-perfect land. Keeping absolutely everything crossed for you, it's not over.

gaggiagirl · 16/02/2015 18:33

tee your poor back! That must be friggin awful.
Thinking of you lil.

ZylaB · 16/02/2015 18:45

lil love, hugs and everything crossed for you x

RPopz · 16/02/2015 18:51

Oh Lil. Hoping for you x

Totes just had a McDonald's! Not even inspired by you lot for once!

Glad you're ok Lauren!

RPopz · 16/02/2015 18:54

Mr P is fucking useless right now so sympathies to you La! I can see how it'd be difficult to do anything useful with a smartphone surgically attached to your hand... Hmm Angry

Purplecircle · 16/02/2015 19:18

Sympathies for the useless men. I think I found the only one who isn't....I've lived with a few that are though secret past

Midwife was good today, lots of questions, gave her a wee sample. She couldn't get any blood so I'll go to the vampires at the hospital tomorrow when I'm at diabetic/antenatal appt

Got my bounty pack from midwife, it's just full of leaflets and a sample of pregnacare. Apparently I need to get another one from Boots or Asda

townsender · 16/02/2015 19:30

So sorry for the bad news Lil Flowers, life is so shit sometimes.

laurenamium · 16/02/2015 19:41

Let me know if the boots/Asia one is any good purple! I haven't got mine yet but don't want to make a special trip if it's just all leaflets!

LaLaLaaaa · 16/02/2015 20:05

I'm at a gig! I'm at a gig with a really big bump! It's weird! I should be wearing skinny jeans and drinking warm red stripe - instead I'm wearing a dress, comfy shoes and nursing a diet coke.

Purplecircle · 16/02/2015 20:09

Hurray La, enjoy

gaggiagirl · 16/02/2015 20:23

BFP on the undergrads thread!
Go congratulate the lucky lady please viroids and shake upduffed sparkle dust on the other viroids!

TheBooMonster · 16/02/2015 20:33

purple you got pregnacare? Envy Apparently some Asda stores give baby bits like vests or bibs or mitts in the bag, but it's a bit hit and miss. The Boots one had a hooded towel when I got it, but might not now as I think it's pretty close to the standard bag you can get at the hospital, and those no longer have towels in!

la the men folk truly suck at housework sometimes. DH filled the dishwasher the other day, made this whole huge thing about the fact that he'd done it... and then I realised the next afternoon that he'd not actually bloody run it! and yesterday he did a washing load and put it out between a whole load of stuff that was dry, but hadn't been dry enough for me to put in the dryer the day before, so then I had to fish through the wet washing on the lines to get all the dry stuff down, then move everything up to fit the second load on. He makes this whole song and dance of coming home, going into the living room and tidying it up whilst giving me a running commentary of all the discarded snacks he finds though!

Mmmmmmm McDonalds! I'm having a hungry day, if only I could drive as there's a drive through close enough to justify driving to but too far away to be able to walk to :/

cookielove · 16/02/2015 20:37

Bump

willywallace · 16/02/2015 20:50

Trying to stay on the thread cookie?Grin

Who got a BFP?

RPopz · 16/02/2015 21:09

I got a second Bounty pack at my 20 week scan - that's the one with all the freebies in it. Samples of the Mum and Me range, little hooded towel, fabric softener sample, decaff teabag, money off vouchers... Oh the glamour! Grin Think that's the one you can get from Boots etc. Don't know of they change each year though? All the leaflets and bumf went in the bin though!

Oooh, what gig La?? Enjoy!

Purplecircle · 16/02/2015 21:15

Muddy got a bfp.

I'm having a hungry day today, nothing fills me!

Will have to see what's in the bag when I get it

KatoPotato · 16/02/2015 21:57

Les Mis soundtrack at the drive thru. Living the dream!

Look down! Look down!
Sweet Jesus doesn't care.

deeplybaffled · 16/02/2015 23:15

lil - so sorry you have to wait, but really hoping that things turn round for you over the next week. X

Pisghetti · 16/02/2015 23:56

Good news Lauren

So after some ill advised googling I have concluded that I lost some of my plug earlier but I've also realised that it's happened a couple of times over the past couple of months so must be happily regenerating each time. Therefore I'm not going to take the fanjo sneeze as meaning anything in particular and will instead continue to enjoy my leave! And maybe pack my bag this week rather than next...

OMG pis, looks like there may be a February baby after all Wink .

LaLaLaaaa · 17/02/2015 05:31

Morning!

Can't sleep - been awake since 3 after going to bed at midnight. Going to be a long day! Got to go to observe a training course and stay over today.

Gig was great - Scott Bradley and the post modern juke box. New songs done in vintage jazz swing style. Met the band afterwards. Was really scary being in crowd with bump but it was a friendly gig and no one pushed me or anything. Had dinner before which was meant to be posh and nice but was pretty awful, won't be going back there!

lil how are you feeling? I'm rooting for your bean, it's still positive. It's so awful being in limbo.

stoat are you still here? How are you doing?

lauren great that there's no pre eclampsia and it looks like baby's caught up. Fx all good from here!

purple glad booking appt went well did you get your scan date?

pis is baby dropped? We might get some news from you soon from the sounds of it! Very exciting. Match is a pretty quiet month for due dates then Aprils going to be mental.

I'm still anxiously hoping baby will start to move soon. I hate going on the July board at the moment coz everyone's stressing about it and it's hard not to compare.

I was in lots of pain yesterday in my back. We did the garden Sunday and I was doing lots of bending and raking. Yesterday it felt like my back was giving way. Also bump was really tight and sore all day and night. It feels fine when I lie down.

I'm 19 weeks today

LaLaLaaaa · 17/02/2015 05:32

Oh and bounty - I went to collect bounty and Emma's diary packs from boots. More small free samples (same as in bounty pack) and leaflets. Not really seen why it's worth it yet!

LaLaLaaaa · 17/02/2015 05:38

I did wonder last night if what I could feel in bump was braxton hicks? It just felt like bump was too big for my skin. Skin was tight and sore.

Kato I love the les mis Maccy Ds! I could murder a double cheeseburger but I'm veggie. Might have to do a phoebe from friends style meat deal with dh - he's veggie for a day so I can eat burgers.

Out of interest is anyone veggie here? I'm still trying to get my head round what I'll do when baby gets to solids. I don't eat meat for many different reasons and I'm not keen on feeding it to my children, but I want to be sensible and not do anything that will affect their health or development. We had thought perhaps child could eat high welfare meat whenever dh does (couple of times a week) and otherwise he or she will be veggie.

willywallace · 17/02/2015 06:10

Ha La I know a couple who were veggie for over ten years. When they started weaning their son, they decided to give him meat. Because the mum spent so much time cooking it, she really started to crave it and they both ended up eating meat again and now can't get enough. It's so funny to see the change in them.

Why don't you just wait and see what happens? As long as they have a healthy diet I don't think it matters. Once they turn two they won't eat anything you give them anyway and will exist on chips and raisins. MiniWil won't eat meat or vegetables, or anything healthy other than a tiny bit of ham.
