Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Thanks girls, I have replied back to her to say thank you and not been a dick and sent some pics of the half done nursery.

Realised to my horror that the bathroom floor is actually on the piss and the digital scales have been lying to me, brought them down into the kitchen to double check weight and it seems level floor is far more unforgiving (To the tune of 3kg!!!!) have stumbled towards the fridge in need of a chocolate biscuit.

I'm not weighing myself again. Also I need to start doing something productive with my signed off time as I am actually fearing for my sanity.

TheBooMonster · 02/03/2015 16:09

pis and wil I don't know if i've started laying on my front when I sleep or something, but I'm actually pretty flat in the mornings Shock and definitely grow over the course of the day, I'm going to have to take some pictures, cos it's pretty freaky! Especially as I'm now 34 weeks!

tee I've given up on weighing myself now, I stopped when I went from a healthy bmi to the numbers saying I was overweight, shall join slimming world when baby comes and hack my weight down to 8stone3 from the almost 11 and a half that I am now cos that's not wishful thinking at all also are they disposable nappies or reusable nappies, I'd actually be kind of annoyed if MiL had taken it upon herself to buy reusable nappies for me because there are so many different types that it does need some proper research not just what's cheep... if they're just disposables then definitely grin and bear it and be glad you now have to spend marginally less on them!

mountaingirl01 · 02/03/2015 16:34

Hurrah! Thanks for all the support viroids (predictive just tried to change that to virgins Hmm ) there's a baby inside me! 11.4 and I'll put a photo on Facebook :) :)
Question: they couldn't do nt as it wouldn't sit in right place. Apparently I just have a blood test at 16w??
Also it wasn't moving around a lot, should I be worried? (Feel free to give me a big old hooyah!)

LaLaLaaaa · 02/03/2015 16:38

Hooray!!! Yay so pleased for you!!

Don't worry about the movement it's still v small. Not sure about nuchal measurement I had thought it's meant to be done around 12 weeks but the other viroids know more than me about it.

Yay!

ChatEnOeuf · 02/03/2015 16:47

Yes, if they can't get the NT they offer the collection of bloods (if you want them) to evaluate trisomy risks. They sleep a lot at that age, don't worry!

Tee - Hooya, but only a little one, as your MiL seems a bit bonkers.

Boo I'm much smaller in the mornings too. I thought it was unique to this pregnancy but looking back over some of my old bump shots, I'm bigger in the evenings at 24 weeks than I was in the morning at 34! Abs have totally given up on me

batfish · 02/03/2015 16:49

Aww la that's rubbish about the hotels but hope it is all lovely in the end!

October thread is freaking me out, they're all throwing up left right and centre and I have nothing going on at all, I'm not even tired or peeing more or anything Sad I know it doesn't mean anything but I just can't stop worrying! 5 days until I know.......

batfish · 02/03/2015 16:50

Yay mountain for your scan! Wanna see! But the Facebook invitations that pis sent me haven't reached me despite her trying more than once!

RPopz · 02/03/2015 17:51

You can have the NT and combined bloods done up until 14+1 if you wanted to go back for a rescan mountain. The quad test is fine though.

Fleurchamp · 02/03/2015 18:17

Great news mountain my baby wasn't moving much at my early scan either- they kept asking me to jiggle and then would poke my stomach really hard with the thingy.

All good at my scan! Although slightly Shock to discover dildo cam is used at 20 weeks.

willywallace · 02/03/2015 18:18

That's weird they didn't offer you a rescan - cheap buggers!Grin That happened to me in my first pg and they said I could go back but I didn't bother.

Bat, I had to become friends with someone before it would let me join the fb page. Can someone who is an admin friend request you and then invite you? Does the request come in the form of a message? If so, have you checked your 'others' folder?

willywallace · 02/03/2015 18:20

Oh, we need a new thread soon.

Why did you get dildocam?!

Fleurchamp · 02/03/2015 18:23

bat if it's any consolation I felt the same. Felt nauseous for one day and tired from about 8 weeks - 13 weeks. Other than that I had slightly sore boobs.

batfish · 02/03/2015 18:27

Oh that's weird willy but maybe that would work - I joined the undergrads one with no problem but something is obviously going wrong here! Nothing in my others folder either. I can't remember how the undergrads invitation came through but I think it was a Facebook notification and an email.

Thanks fleur good to know you didn't have symptoms either! I really need to relax and look forward to my scan instead of getting more worried the closer it gets!

LaLaLaaaa · 02/03/2015 18:29

Bat if you PM me your email address I'll add you

DulcetMoans · 02/03/2015 18:30

Yeah, why dildo cam fleur?! Feels unnecessary! Kinky sonographer?!

Great news on your scan mountain. Did they not offer a rescan? You have a couple of weeks to get that NT in.

I think the nappy battle is worth losing for the holiday one too tee. Just smile and say thanks!

Don't freak out bat! Those monthly threads are scary places to hang out, especially at the beginning!

I have that same worry as mountain actually as everyone keeps saying they had a lovely active baby on the scan and my lazy bugger just sits there! I had to shifty about to get it to move at 12wks and at 20wks it was lazy as anything! Maybe I will have a sleeper...?

Waiting for a train to London. Can't be arsed! What shall I get for tea in my premier inn?

Fleurchamp · 02/03/2015 18:35

Whoa, ok so I wasn't just being bad and not reading up on the scan notes?

Dildo cam was to check length of cervix apparently - I figured it was normal Confused

batfish · 02/03/2015 18:42

la is it possible to PM on the app or will I need to do it on computer? I'm being thick and can't see how to do it. pis already tried using my email address but I'm happy for you to have another go when I work out how to message you!

batfish · 02/03/2015 18:51

I do actually seem to have one symptom. ....absolutely no desire for shagging! And hubby has made it very clear that it's on the cards tonight after me avoiding it for the last 2 weeks Shock

mountaingirl01 · 02/03/2015 19:00

That's what I'm telling myself dulcet Wink nope not offered a rescan! Just told I need to wait till bloods at 16w! Tight bastards!
bat very mild occasional nausea here, no vomiting and possibly only due to constipation (bit the bullet and bought lactulose today) no one else in my family felt sick at all either

Indigoblue2 · 02/03/2015 19:06

Thanks for your opinions on the home birth scenario viroids! I think the general consensus was that you think a MLU would be better for a first baby Smile I think that might be the way to go. la I'm an hour away from the hospital, or 40 mins if I went to another one but they don't do epidurals etc. So even further than you. Probably if I was closer I'd be seriously considering it. gaggia had a chuckle at the description of your sister! Sounds like she had an awesome birth, that's sooo what I want what's the bets I get a section. It's not that I'm afraid of doctors or hospitals and I'm not in the hippy category, but I do want minimal intervention. My midwife said that once you start intervention it usually spirals into more. It's so hard knowing how you'll cope with the pain. I've never broken anything so can't know how my pain threshold is. Although I don't find waxing sore and DID get my lip pierced as a young un out now which was basically just a needle through my lip and coped fine with that. But probably birth blows that out the water!!

bat apart from sore boobs I didn't have many symptoms either. Only threw up twice, once was from gorging on beans on toast and the other something similar. You haven't had bleeding or pain so chances are you'll be absolutely fine!

tee I agree with pis that your MILs general unreasonableness has probably made you rightly sensitised to her remarks/"help". At least she hasn't bought you bottles and a sterilising kit for ff!! Blush

la Glad you got your hotel sorted out, £165 a night is too much to not get 100% service. We are also hoping to get away before bean comes. GX

LaLaLaaaa · 02/03/2015 19:06

Bat don't freak. Every pg is different and some (lucky!) women get away with very few symptoms.

Click next to my name here and send pm

Indigoblue2 · 02/03/2015 19:08

mountain and bat my mum and sister didn't suffer with ms badly either, wonder if it does work like that or just coincidence?

willywallace · 02/03/2015 19:09

Oh no Bat! Sudden migraine?

I have never had a dildocam for anything. Pregnancy clearly isn't as exciting up here!

Fleurchamp · 02/03/2015 19:19

I feel violated Blush

laurenamium · 02/03/2015 19:26

Excellent news with your scan mountain! Shame they didnt offer you a rescan though!

Baby hasn't grown much since the last scan and has dropped a centile line, he's also breech Confused the consultant said if I go into labour before he moves it will be a C section, and if he hasn't grown significantly by my next scan in 2 weeks they'll induce me then, or give me a section depending on how he's lied! I'm off to google ways to make them move as I really don't want a section! Can they move once the waters have gone?
