Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Lol, indigo she's already bought me the bottles and steriliser! I shit you not!

I ended up doing a couple of mercy wanks bat when I was less than amorous. Fortunately my sex drive came back after about week 18, not aure if it's anything to do with the mental connection of shagging plus the litres of pant snot I seem to produce.

TheBooMonster · 02/03/2015 19:32

lol fleur bit odd that they checked cervix length, any risk factors for premature labour?

My mum has told me that the weekend after the weekend after my due date she and dad are going abroad... So I know now there's nothing I can do to encourage labour to happen between now and my due date, I'm going to go the full 14 days over and need inducing because we'll be a set of parents down!

ZylaB · 02/03/2015 20:14

tee just breezily say "thanks the bottles and steriliser will be great for expressing breast milk on the rare occasion we decide to do that!" Then wander off and smile :)

gaggiagirl · 02/03/2015 20:28

mountain are you in maternity trousers yet? I'm now officially the largest person in the universe. I've gone from a size 8 to an actual whale in a week. Please tell me it wont get worse!

Indigoblue2 · 02/03/2015 20:30

gaggia I'm a whale. A motherfucking whale.

Indigoblue2 · 02/03/2015 20:32

tee OM actual G. I can't believe she did that, it was so meant to be a joke!! Do what Zyla said Smile

mountaingirl01 · 02/03/2015 21:33

gaggia me too - so glad someone else is in maternity trousers!! Keep thinking I'm being silly, but all my work stuff is far too tight and seemed more sensible to buy mat clothes that will last - and omg how comfortable are over the bump trousers?! might never wear low slung ever again! especially as I have put on a stone already I want a real bump now! not just a bit of extra fat and bloat!

tee that is very out of line!

ChatEnOeuf · 02/03/2015 21:41

Fleur I had a dildocam for cervical length too - loose RF for preterm birth, but they do it as routine here. Cheap and high-impact intervention for the few it would catch, so I'm all for it...just like the bonus 34-w scan I get to check the placenta is still functioning.

Hang in there Lauren. They can move still, but it is harder as they're not swimming so much. Old wives say scrubbing on your hands and knees is the way to get them turning. DD was a late turner - 33w I recall hurt like anything.

Pisghetti · 02/03/2015 21:57

There's a website called spinning babies which has advice on turning breech babies Lauren I don't think it's very user friendly but I seem to remember Ness having some success with it (might have got her mixed up?). Do you want to do the next Fred?

I wondered if I'd get cervical length checked as I've had abnormal cell treatment following a dodgy smear but I raised it with my MW early on and nothing else happened.

mountain great scan news (and fab pic!!) I only had the quad test but that was an area specific thing. They've since reintroduced the NT test.

The March thread has exploded with babies (on FB mostly) I'm getting quite impatient and feel a bit Envy as I want to meet madam (but at the same time I'm loving my bump again now I'm more comfortable and I know I'll miss it Sad )

ZylaB · 02/03/2015 22:31

I missed my bump, kept stroking my tummy after, then realising lol :)

TheBooMonster · 02/03/2015 22:53

www.project-b.com/competition for anyone looking at reusable nappies there's a competition here for a tots bots nappy bundle.

LaLaLaaaa · 02/03/2015 23:05

Lauren at daisy we get taught an exercise on all fours which encourages turning of baby. You go on a fours, arch your back then do big caterpillar movement so your bum goes back to your feet, you then go forward with boobs followed by bump in a rocking motion to where you started.

So it's like a big circle on all fours - arch, bum, boobs, bump.

Cleaning on all fours is probably v similar.

Weird convo about eating placentas and one woman planting hers in garden at today's class. I was a bit Confused at the whole thing

I was in maternity gear from about 8 weeks as everything was too tight!

LaLaLaaaa · 02/03/2015 23:15

New thread time! Who's doing it? Not me, I'm unlucky

KatoPotato · 02/03/2015 23:39

bat I've had zero sickness throughout this pg and my first with DS! Just nausea about 5pm if I got hungry!

willywallace · 02/03/2015 23:42

Why are you unlucky?

Someone from your class planted their placenta? Shock

I REALLY want my baby to go to sleep now.

batfish · 03/03/2015 04:37

Eww planting the placenta?! What if it got dug up by a cat?? I have had a couple of friends who have had the pills made from placenta but anything else is just a bit weird. Another friend had some kind of print made of hers, that was even a bit much for me!

LaLaLaaaa · 03/03/2015 07:08

Wil I lost my baby on the grads thread I started

Ok I'm going to break my superstition - new thread time!!

here!

LaLaLaaaa · 03/03/2015 07:14

Bat I tried to invite you to Facebook but it says you're already invited. Can you check your email account for message? Might be in spam?

Or on Facebook look under groups and there should be invitation

willywallace · 03/03/2015 07:27

Oh sorry La, I didn't realise that Thanks .

Bat, even the capsules are a step too far for me. Just why?

laurenamium · 03/03/2015 07:31

Thanks viroids. I will set about scrubbing skirting boards or something similar today!

DulcetMoans · 03/03/2015 07:46

There was a programme on last week where a lady are the placenta. In smoothies! Another couple didn't want to cut the cord and wanted it all to fall off naturally so carried it in a little bag with the baby until it fell off.

Thanks for the competition boo! I got some reusables but know I need more. Are you using?

It's nearly your turn though pis! So close! Hope that bag is packed...!

I stretched out in the night and got cramp up both my calves - so painful! Just hobbled around my premier in room to try get it to go away!

batfish · 03/03/2015 07:46

Gaaaa I just don't think I'm going to be able to join in, can't find invitation in emails, spam or on Facebook! Thanks for trying though la

willywallace · 03/03/2015 08:01

That is so weird Bat. Have you checked back through your notifications in case you missed it?

Dulcet each to their own but no part of me gets doing that.

DulcetMoans · 03/03/2015 08:26
