Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Thanks for the replies.

Lil I'm keeping everything crossed for you

DulcetMoans · 15/02/2015 22:00

And now I am here to! Smile

Going Pinterest mental!

Fleurchamp · 15/02/2015 22:09

la what is an anti-D appointment?

I have my 16 week midwife appt this week which is actually done at 18 weeks here, everything seems two weeks behind what should I expect? Wee sample? Any more blood?

Also, is anyone else being completely unreasonable? I get so irrationally stressed about the slightest thing. I am already dreading work this week, nothing in particular just a general stress/ dread. Am assuming it's hormones but it's stopping me sleeping and I think my blood pressure is raised because I can hear my heartbeating in my ear which usually only happens when I am stressed.

deeplybaffled · 15/02/2015 22:20

lil -thinking of you and hope you get reassuring news tomorrow. X

LaLaLaaaa · 15/02/2015 22:44

Fleur I'm blood type o negative so I have to get anti-d injection later in the pregnancy and also if I bash my bump in any way. It's because my baby's blood may not be compatible with mine.

16 weeks yes to urine sample here but if they've not said that to you then perhaps you don't need one? What does it say in your notes?

Finished the last thread with a flourish!

DulcetMoans · 15/02/2015 22:56

Always a flourish la, you're a pro! I am negative blood too, asked midwife about the anti-d thing and what it's for - apparently it's not that it's a risk this pregnancy so much but could be in subsequent pregnancies as your body could build up against any future positive blood babies. Or something. Just found it interesting it was actually more about they next pregnancy than this one. although not sure if that's the same if we have a bump to the bump - that could be a different risk - but for the extra jabs we need that's what she told me.

No bloods at my 16 week fleur but was wee sample. And the heartbeat, that's the best bit! Mention the heartbeat thing to midwife though - she will check blood pressure anyway.

willywallace · 15/02/2015 23:01

God the night's not even begun and I've had 2 1/2 hours of screaming. Someone pass me the vodka Grin .

LaLaLaaaa · 15/02/2015 23:02

I'd thought it was for this first one too dulcet? As if some of your blood goes over placenta and mixes with baby's it can cause problems?

My mums o neg but they didn't do the anti d thing back then apparently

splodge77 · 15/02/2015 23:08

Howdy new Fred-ites. Am in sore-ribs-city over here. Anyone else? Need to do more yoga/stretching. Took DS to see Shaun the sheep today - his first cinema visit. We all loved it - very funny!!

Toast85 · 16/02/2015 05:40

Place marking the new Fred. Thanks pis.

Gx that I can keep my hormones in check all day at work (it's not been the best weekend for my hormones, bless 'em) and also that the increasing nausea doesn't turn into full blown ms- I am going armed with ginger biscuits and ginger tea!

Lil I have everything crossed for you today.

willywallace · 16/02/2015 05:58

Good luck Lil, will be thinking of you.

LaLaLaaaa · 16/02/2015 06:38

Good luck today lil, I'll be thinking of you a day x

Anyone read that dinosaur thread a few weeks ago? look!

LaLaLaaaa · 16/02/2015 06:39

*all day - damn phone

DulcetMoans · 16/02/2015 07:33

So did I la but she was defo telling me it's mainly about if we went on to have a second child. I could have misunderstood but I didn't even know it would affect a subsequent pregnancy!

Good luck today lil. Not sure you will get any answers today but hope so to save the waiting.

Shaun the Sheep has done surprisingly well in reviews toast? Sounds pretty good!

My back kills every morning but this morning it has absolutely spread to ribs splodge. I just can't get comfy asleep or stay asleep then suffer in the morning. Have yoga tonight for the first time so hopefully that will help.

Purplecircle · 16/02/2015 07:46

Morning viroids. I'm A neg so the Anti D thing will affect me too

Lil keep us posted, we're rooting for you

Indigoblue2 · 16/02/2015 08:09

Thinking of you today lil xx

laurenamium · 16/02/2015 08:17

Found you! Good luck today lil!

willywallace · 16/02/2015 08:29

Isn't it that you won't develop the antibodies until you come into contact with rhesus positive blood? So usually that might just happen in birth with first baby so you wouldn't develop them fast enough for it to be a problem. But I guess if you had some kind of accident or placenta issue it could happen earlier? Or a previous miscarriage maybe?

minimooo · 16/02/2015 08:38

Haha, la, that article's brilliant! They must be trolls though surely... I hope no-one could really disown their sister over a few toys! Shock

Also, mad that your noisy neighbours followed you Shock Bet you couldn't believe it when you saw them! Ours are renting too. Weirdly that doesn't seem to stop them doing DIY...can't understand that one. Especially because the owners are going to turf this lot out at the end of the year and gut the entire house and do it up from scratch. Yeah, really looking forward to that with an 8-month old baby Hmm

Thinking of lil, hope you get some answers today Flowers

LaLaLaaaa · 16/02/2015 08:45

Wil - that must be why I was told I have to get jag if I bash my bump at all?

I'm a bit clueless about it, should probably read up!

willywallace · 16/02/2015 09:06

Yeah maybe La. I'm not really sure how easily blood could cross placenta. Should have paid more attention in biology.

It's so nice to not have the sound of screaming, even if it means I'm trapped under a sleeping baby. I should wake her up really...

DulcetMoans · 16/02/2015 09:22

That sounds clever enough to be true wil! She said something about they have to test you (or your placenta) and the baby soon after birth to check levels of something and you possibly need another jab after the birth to take levels of something down so you won't have problems in subsequent births. I should really listen more.

That neighbour thing happened to DH grandma la. She moved and her old neighbours moved in a few months later. They liked each other though so it was ok.

I have double booked myself - I can't yoga tonight, I am going to the theatre darling! Will have to live with back ache for another week. Afraid I will have annoyed the midwife that runs it enough to kick me out before i've started though!

LaLaLaaaa · 16/02/2015 09:42

I'm being taken out for dinner and dancing tonight! Dh booked a swing jazz gig ages ago and has now booked dinner beforehand. Very excited! Not sure how much dancing I'll be able to do though, I might look like a weeble

KatoPotato · 16/02/2015 09:55

Marking. Will catch up! x

RPopz · 16/02/2015 10:30

Hellooooo New Fred!
