Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Yes she did know we were having the shower - it was actually at her house! She had the baby at 9am and let us know and told us to carry on with the plans still at their house! They had left a key and everything, hilarious. It worked out quite well as they were a little unprepared so we were able to do a bit of tidying and cleaning for them and set up the nursery a bit as everything was still in bags and boxes. And we left them lots of food in the fridge so her hubby will have had a nice buffet when he came home from the hospital last night! We left all of her gifts and strung up a washing line across the living room with onesies that we had all decorated so it should be a nice welcome home.

laurenamium · 01/03/2015 08:26

Oh bat what a lovely group of friends you are! She's very lucky!

DulcetMoans · 01/03/2015 08:47

That sounds really lovely bat, I want you guys as my friends!

willywallace · 01/03/2015 09:17

Bat that's amazing.

La I find they just stop feeding once they're full. Generally they say you can't overfeed a bf baby which isn't strictly true but they're pretty much designed to stop when they need to. Mine have often overeaten because sometimes they suck for comfort when they're sore. But if this happens they just throw it back up. If they haven't had enough they do screaming so you won't have to worry about that Wink . The main difference I think is frequency of feeding. Bf is pretty relentless whereas you can ff to a schedule more or less.

LaLaLaaaa · 01/03/2015 09:22

Bat - be my friend!!!

I've just snuck out of my friends house. She and her dh were asleep still and so I didn't want to disturb them as they've been up all night. Left beer, wkd, sweeties and hot cross buns.

Hope dh has remembered to feed the cats.

lildottie · 01/03/2015 09:35

I'm coping thanks wil still having some down moments of course but more ups now. glad you got 5 mins peace, even if it was to express rather than sleep!

Lauren you are so brave! hope you aren't too bored.

indigo my mum had my two youngest dB's at home but they were no4 and no5 for her. she said she wouldn't have done it for a first, and she was Max 25mins from hospital - less in a speeding ambulance. I like the idea but dh vetod it when we started ttc.

mountaingirl01 · 01/03/2015 09:38

bat can you do my baby shower?!

dulcet we donated ours to the red cross, so long as it has a fire sticker they will come and collect.

lil how are you?

Lot's of pulling achey 'pinging' pains this weekend Confused telling myself it's my insides moving to fit in my little fig. Scan tomorrow arghh! (But yay!)

laurenamium · 01/03/2015 09:38

You sound like a lovely friend too la!

They're letting me go home Grin I'm just waiting for appointment times for next week then I'm free until tomorrow's scan Grin can't wait to get home. I bet DP is frantically cleaning up his mess!

willywallace · 01/03/2015 10:20

Yay Lauren!

Ooh Red Cross that's a good idea. Good luck with your scan Mountain.

I'm tired again already Grin . I guess I actually ended up with less sleep overall last night even though she went longer.

teejayem · 01/03/2015 11:49

I felt very pulled about early on mountain I think the little monkey was making himself comfortable! I figure it's literally muscles you don't normally use, mine felt like overstretched elastic! Good vibes for tomorrow!
Brill news lauren make sure he is running around after you and your tea mug is never empty!
I got breakfast in bed this morning! But it's come at a price. Mr tee sat on the end of the bed after handing me my sausage sandwich and tea, looking slightly shifty, and then asked if we could go to ikea... , we've never successfully had a trip there without a huge argument. Hmm I'd let him go on his own but it's nursery things and I want a say... Arrrgh!

laurenamium · 01/03/2015 11:53

Oh tee good luck with ikea! If it starts to look heated head to the canteen Grin

Indigoblue2 · 01/03/2015 11:54

mountain I felt like that too. Being pulled about and the cramps both felt shit! Looking forward to scan pics Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 01/03/2015 12:23

Mountain I had lots of those feelings, don't worry. Good luck for tomorrow!

Lil - glad that things are a little easier xx

Lauren hooray!!!

I just got home to find house a pigsty and cat has pissed on the bed (my pillow!). They get stressed when left alone and dh was working last night. Now frantically phoning Cattery trying to book them on for our weekend away next week, rather than having friend pop over. Cost outweighs washing whole bed

laurenamium · 01/03/2015 12:37

Oh no la! Is your DP in trouble too for the messy house?

LaLaLaaaa · 01/03/2015 13:57

Nah he's pretty good normally and was working til 2am

But I have just yelled at him for shaving his pubes onto my clean bathroom floor. And for mopping kitchen floor AROUND cat litter trays (the dirtiest bit)

LaLaLaaaa · 01/03/2015 13:58

Yes that's right mumsnetters - my cat litter trays are in the kitchen!

Pisghetti · 01/03/2015 14:20

In the kitchen Shock YABU!

In the kitchen?!?! BlushBlush

DulcetMoans · 01/03/2015 14:49

Haha. You know that never goes well la. You should have scentless, invisible litter trays that don't live in the house at all! Can't help but feel like pudding on the pillow is quite vindictive - they are trying to teach you a lesson!

Great news you can go home lauren, hopefully you're on your own sofa by now!

Good luck at ikea tee, that's all I can offer! Points for the sausage sandwich though... He did try and break the news gently.

Apparently our afternoon is filled with sport now. I need my own distraction!

LaLaLaaaa · 01/03/2015 15:07

Oh god I missed the ikea bit. On a Sunday?! Is he crazy? I hope you get a dime bar or ice cream out of it.

I am huge today - and there's a lot of kicking going on.

It's so nice today I have my washing on the line and I'm walking around in flip flops much to the horror of my neighbours Scottish girl living in the south, every day is holiday weather!

ZylaB · 01/03/2015 15:46

Dh is talking minizyla through rugby, he's ordered her an England rugby sleep suit too lol!

gaggiagirl · 01/03/2015 16:14

mountain scan you say! Its never your 12 week scan is it? No you must be more Than that. 16wks? I'm confused!

I love Ikea I'm so jealous. tee your one lucky lass, I would love to be asked to go to Ikea.
I might take my mam there for mothers day...she loves it. We can have mac and cheese and lingonberry pop and daim cake!

Pisghetti · 01/03/2015 16:23

I love mac and cheese soooo much. I don't think they do it in our local Ikea. If they did I'd so go there for Mother's Day. DS hates the place though - and he'd been within his rights to veto such a move given it's on his birthday this year. Unless I play the 'but I'm due tomorrow' card on the day....

I think the baby is loving the rugby! DP is despairing of his team Grin DS and I are claiming Irish heritage for the day Wink

There's never a good place for litter trays! I have two that are at the end of our dining area/kitchen bit. I miss having a downstairs loo, I used to keep both next to it in last house.
Survived ikea! It was heaving. Got a shelf unit thing for toiletries etc and a desk for my Mac, and left without having a row! Got home and then had huge row about who used the electric screwdriver last as it was flat and the charger is missing.
I've left him and his manual screwdriver to it.
