Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Glad you managed to hold off on the arguing until you got home tee Smile

DP is in the good books, he's washed and ironed all of DDs washing while I've been in hospital so she has fresh uniform for tomorrow and is currently cooking us all tea. I could get used to this!

deeplybaffled · 01/03/2015 18:01

Went for the harmony test yesterday - should find out the results in about a fortnight. Trying to be rational and remember that even though 1: 85 is officially high risk, it still means 84:85 won't have downs.
Did a 10k race today, and although far from fast, was only about 3 mins slower than my last one, which was before I was upduffed, so relatively chuffed. Am quietly ignoring the fact that the fastest lady finished her 10k just before I'd done 5k...

mountaingirl01 · 01/03/2015 18:42

gaggia it is 12 week scan! And in fact I will only be 11+3! Glad it's not just me that feels the last 2 months have dragged!

I love IKEA but have never been with dh. He would never voluntarily go shopping unless for outdoor gear. I really don't mind either, he is a boring shopping partner and accepts what I buy anyway under the thumb?

DulcetMoans · 01/03/2015 18:51

Well done deeply! Getting through a race when preggers is hard enough - don't think about those crazy runners that can do it in 20seconds! Hope you get the results back quickly.

Make the most of it lauren, let him take care of you both!

tee, who honestly used the electric one? Was it you?!

Had to go to the bloody pub to watch football as it turned out to be on sky. Waste of my afternoon! I just read the paper and ebayed for baby things.

gaggiagirl · 01/03/2015 18:57

11+3 mountain Shock I agree, you've been preggers foreeeeeeever!. Will you post a pic after the scan? Lots of luck hope you enjoy it.

Purpleball · 01/03/2015 19:17

Lauren hurray for being home and helpful DH

Bugger about the bed La

I love a trip to ikea but not on Sunday's!

We had the nifty test today. Scan was fab, baby doing somersaults. She checked the nuchal fold and its normal. We also heard the heartbeat. Baby is measuring the right size too. Mum came with us and it was fab for her to see too.
Just have to wait 12 days for the results

Had a mooch round mothercare and showed mum the pram. We won't buy it there though. The silver cross outlet place has them £200 cheaper on eBay. So we could go pick one up but not yet!

Finished off the outing with lunch at pizza express Smile

laurenamium · 01/03/2015 19:32

Glad you had a good scan purple Smile

I haven't done a poo since before my waters broke so Thursday Blush what can I do to make it happen? I feel like I need one but its just not happening! Sorry for the tmi!

mountaingirl01 · 01/03/2015 19:32

Hopefully gaggia just praying everything will be OK. deeply I bow down to you. I usually try for at least 5 races a year, but have barely even run or been out on my bike since getting upduffed! First I was too scared, now I'm too tired getting fat and it has little to do with the fig

willywallace · 01/03/2015 19:44

I'm in awe of all you fit types. Must sort myself out.

Lactulose Lauren?

gaggiagirl · 01/03/2015 20:36

mountain everything crossed for a great scan!
purple are you 10 or 11 weeks now? Was it amazing how much baby had changed between scans? Have you got a picture?
lauren hot bath and homemade vegetable soup. Not at the same time Smile

laurenamium · 01/03/2015 20:47

I'm not allowed baths any more Sad but I've written vegetables and lactulose on to my list of things to get!

Purpleball · 01/03/2015 21:07

Gaggia I'm 10+3 now and yeah it's changed loads. It looked more like a baby now. It was bobbing about in there doing somersaults

Purpleball · 01/03/2015 21:08

Phot on FB page

Lauren - prunes or dried apricots will make you go

mountaingirl01 · 01/03/2015 21:20

Viroids, hooyah please. 11+3 is perfectly OK to be having my dating scan and hopefully hopefully hopefully then telling people right? It's not too early?

willywallace · 01/03/2015 21:21

Check with some medical type that you're allowed it first Lauren. What about drinking coffee? That always works for me.

Congratulations Purple.

gaggiagirl · 01/03/2015 21:22

lauren coffee and fags ??. Apparently movicol is amazing. Available over the counter.

DulcetMoans · 01/03/2015 21:27

Having a maccy ds has always got me on the loo within a couple hours lauren.

The 12 weeks thing is totally arbitrary mountain - telly people one week or five weeks earlier doesn't make bad things happen - nor one week of give weeks later. Just tell when you are comfortable. It took me longer this time to feel safe enough to tell, for you the scan might be what you need. Don't feel pressured to do anything!

teejayem · 01/03/2015 21:40

Hooya mountain - it's not too early!
Yes yes yes to Lactulose lauren - the painkillers I've got are super constipation, the lactulose helps keeps things in check will not go through the horror of 7 days without a poo again
Electric screwdriver is technically mine dulce last time it was used was when we moved in when I put our new bed together. but it gets right on my veiny tits when you need something and half the stuff is missing from the case or box. Mr tee is a tidying freak so he got the blame for putting it away in the garage without checking the contents first.
Nursery furniture is built. Just need to start filling it with stuff. Looking at all the tiny things set me off on a bit of a panic and I had a cry, so will attack it tomorrow. Need to start thinking about hospital bag I guess... First thing I bough was a button down nightshirt thing in flannel check from the Marks and Sparks outlet, which is nicely in keeping with my love of grunge :)

LaLaLaaaa · 01/03/2015 21:52

Lovely pic purple!!

Mountain not too early at all! Hope it goes well xx

Fybogel Lauren? And prune juice

ZylaB · 01/03/2015 22:11

Yay for good scan purple :)

splodge77 · 01/03/2015 22:18

Been away all wknd so just catching up. Gosh Lauren, what a shock for waters to go this early. But glad to hear you've got to go home & they have a plan for monitoring baby. Sounds like you're in good hands. Crumbs I'm still in denial about this baby actually coming out! Eek! Better get me head round it somehow!!

batfish · 02/03/2015 05:59

Arghhh I swear time is going backwards - scan on Saturday and I still don't feel pregnant at all so even though all was OK at 5+5 scan I can't stop stressing! I know symptoms are no guarantee of anything and most people on the Oct group are feeling totally shitty so I should just think myself lucky but why don't I feel pregnant?! Still got the sore boobs but that's it.

mountain I personally don't think 11+3 would be too early to tell people - it is only 4 days away from 12 weeks after all - and after 8 weeks the risks drop off massively anyway so I would say it's fine. Personal choice though. If Saturday ever comes and all is OK at my scan I think we might start slowly telling a few more people then as we see them.

batfish · 02/03/2015 06:21

la please can you remind me of the name of the book that you recommended for the dad to be? Thanks!

Purpleball · 02/03/2015 07:18

I've told loads of people now but I've had 3 scans
I'm not telling everyone at work til we get the test results back.
I'm also not announcing on Facebook for a while yet

11 isn't too early at all Smile

Purpleball · 02/03/2015 07:19

I think the book was the expectant dads survival guide. That's what we got anyway
