Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 21st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 38th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Woo good luck Zyla! Shit's about to get real!

Appraisal went well. Came out with a long list of to-dos before I can bugger off but should make next week fly by! DP built a cot. It scares me a bit - haven't quite come to terms with there being an actual baby yet Shock

laurenamium · 05/02/2015 20:00

Oh wow zyla how exciting Grin finally nearly time!

Congratulations gaggia Thanks

I just sent DP a rude text, then panicked that I had sent it to his mam Grin luckily I had sent it to the right number but I really need to change their names so they aren't next to each other!

townsender · 05/02/2015 20:01

Hello ga, welcome to the really scary part. Still shitting myself here, but figure I might as well join in the grads chat while muttering silently 'today I am pregnant, today I am pregnant'.

bat I had a scan on Tuesday, I'm somewhere between 5+3 and 6+3, and they saw a yolk sac but no fetal pole or heartbeat. Not sure at 6w how likely you are to see a hb, but might be worth waiting a bit longer if you think it would worry you more to have a scan with no hb.

My ex's sister had a 13lb baby, and his SIL had 3 babies over 10lb. Glad I escaped that gene pool!

Interesting about the pregnancy yoga classes. I've got yoga and pilates both near me, think I'll try and get a test class out of both when the time comes, rather than forking out for 6 classes and finding its full of antisocial smelly people.

KatoPotato · 05/02/2015 20:07

I'm buzzing today. I found a PT who specialises in the continued training of pregnant ladies! I got in touch and told him I used to be at the gym five days a week but had done nothing but eat square crisps for 26 weeks!

He told me to come and see him and we did a fitness and mobility check and he said I had better form and stamina than some of his regular clients!

I know it's sad but I've been sort of mourning exercise, it was such a big part of my life and to be getting back to it is so exciting to me!

laurenamium · 05/02/2015 20:11

Amazing news kato I am Envy!

lildottie · 05/02/2015 20:19

the 40lb Australia baby was a hoax. it was a pic of a 17lb baby born in China or somewhere like that.

natural birth doesn't worry me - cs scare the shit out of me!

zyla yay! you've almost made it to 36weeks! and soon you'll be a mummy!

sorry for all the anxiety in here. I guess it doesn't stop until they are born 18 !!

KatoPotato · 05/02/2015 20:20

I've had a few body image worries to be honest, getting a bit panicky about gaining weight. Before getting pg I lost over 5stone so a growing bump has actually freaked me out a bit... Can I post my bump on the fb page? I have had mixed reactions, from 'you're neat' to the belter last week 'what a shame you losing all that weight to put it back on again!'

laurenamium · 05/02/2015 20:22

kato it sounds like you're the same as me re body image. I lost 3 stone before I got pregnant and I've had the whole range of comments. Now I get the 'wow your bumps huge' thing and I try not to let it wind me up!

FurryScoob · 05/02/2015 20:22

Just delurking to wish you luck for tomorrow zyla see you soon on the mumming thread!

Anyone heard from red?

DulcetMoans · 05/02/2015 20:23

Oh kato, that would kill me! I lost 5stone as well and if someone said that I might just slap them and cry. Great you found a trainer though! Did you run before too or just gym?

Stoatystoat · 05/02/2015 21:02

kato good for you. I am really missing exercise and am feeling guilty for not doing it and then feeling guilty for thinking about something so trivial while I feel my pregnancy is hanging in the balance. I am hoping this bleeding stops and I have a normal pregnancy. While it's like this, running not a good idea. I was running 3 times a week before. Seems like a lifetime ago. My life has halted since the bleeding started. Sorry for whinging. I also have body image issues that need reigning in, entirely caused by the fact that people are always going on about how tiny I am. I'm going to see ILs this weekend, MIL will look after me, overweight FIL will say I need a pie.

Good luck zyla

lildottie · 05/02/2015 21:12

stoat another positive story for you. I seem to remember red had a bleed early on when she got pg from her third ivf. they could also see the bleed on scan but was away from baby. last we heard (at crimbo) she was still prego and loving it!

Stoatystoat · 05/02/2015 21:14

Ah thanks dottie, good to have hope!

lildottie · 05/02/2015 21:14

and as for the bump comments I think it's an auto response people use much like "when are you going to have kids?" when we r ttc. they just say "your bump is " because they feel the need to comment. they don't actually mean/think about what they are saying.

willywallace · 05/02/2015 21:16

I can't remember what exercise with. I have found a class you can take a double buggy to but I really don't think I'd manage it. I'll have to start going out for walks at least though although I kind of feel bad confining a toddler to a buggy.

Well done on all the weight losses? that's amazing. The most I've ever managed to lose was 10lbs (aside from weight lost by having a baby).

DulcetMoans · 05/02/2015 21:17

I ate a whole large pack of BBQ flavour pop chips. I don't even know why. Then I had dinner that I couldn't quite finish. I'm not pregnant, I'm just poorly disciplined and fat!

willywallace · 05/02/2015 21:17

*is, not with

RPopz · 05/02/2015 21:20

Eeek Zyla!! Hope all goes well and speedily (not too speedily though Wink) and little H is in your arms by the end of tomorrow Smile xxx

Congrats gaggia - welcome back Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 05/02/2015 21:38

Lauren my mate did that to me the other day! I got a message meant for her dh Grin

Zyla I've got my pom poms out, cleaned and ready to wave! Good luck!!!!

That's a shame about your classes fleur and dulcet :(. I really like my fit mummy classes, the girls are all nice. Despite contacting every yoga teacher in town I never got a call back from any of them, or got a polite note saying they don't cater for upduffed viroids.

Kato - that's great that you found a PT who knows about pregnancy fitness! Our fit mummy teacher last night was teaching us about the difference between exercising when pregnant and when not. We do lots of exercises that strengthen our bum/thigh muscles for labour, plus lots of weights for arms. She said it's dangerous to do deep abdominals when pregnant and people try and do sit ups too quickly after giving birth.

Kato I just read your second post. Wtf!?! How completely rude and insensitive!!!! Post your pic and we will tell you how gorgeous you and your bump look!

I know the feeling though - I lost a stone before getting pregnant and 2 stone previously to that, so I'm getting panicky watching myself fill out again. But you're meant to gain weight in pregnancy. I think keeping active is important and that's what I'm struggling with coz of the tiredness.

Honestly I'm so mad on your behalf, what a dickhead to say that to a pregnant lady Confused

My best mate bled up to 4 months with the baby she's having at 9am tomorrow (CS). She was terrified but baby was all fine Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 05/02/2015 21:40

Oh and I got a 'ooh how far along are you, you're really neat!' from someone at my mummy class lady night who was 34 weeks. When I told her 17 weeks she looked shocked, I think she thought I was further along! My bump is quite big and I'm a bit scared I'm going to be massive

Fleurchamp · 05/02/2015 22:04

I'm the same re bump.

I am normally quite slim and so people (female colleagues in particular) seem delighted that I am getting quite big pretty quickly and will take any opportunity to comment.

It is doing nothing for my mood, I can tell you.

DH is being an arse too.

There is definitely a cloud over my head and I can't shake it off.

Good luck for tomorrow zyla try to get some sleep Grin

laurenamium · 05/02/2015 22:06

Oh la I bet she was mortified Grin there's a thread in active discussions (or it was) where someone sent a photo via Facebook to a friend - of her DHs cock Grin I do love a socially awkward mistake when it's not happening to me!

I'm carrying larger I think, the baby measures on 50th centile or just under, but my bump measures a week too big! I'm still in the same size maternity trousers as my normal clothes size though and haven't bought any maternity tops at all, just wearing the jumpers etc I already had so I'm not too worried yet...I've still got 10 weeks to go though Shock so might end up huge! I do miss exercise

willywallace · 05/02/2015 22:59

That's mortifying. Bet her friend sent it to all their other mates for a laugh. Cock photos are just never a good idea.

What's DH done Fleur?

lildottie · 05/02/2015 23:29

I don't wish to sound bitchy so please don't take this the wrong way.
fat thin big small your bumps are your babies and you are all blessed to have them. its not a right, its a privilege, and you shouldn't let anyone make you feel bad about your size/weight when pg. your growing a human viroids, cut yourselves some slack! you are all amazing lovely people and that is more important.

naked photos are always a bad idea. but a great lol when someone else is on the embarrassing end!

yeah fleur whats he done, we'll help you call him mean names!

Toast85 · 05/02/2015 23:50

Hello, I'm just graduating over from the JS thread, just thought I would say hi. Only got my BFP this morning so it's still sinking in but in my best speaking voice "today I am pregnant"
Name: Toast
Due date: 12th October
DCs: only this little poppy seed

Already told my line manager today as my work involves potentially risky situations, so felt I wanted someone to know ASAP.

And potentially telling my parents tomorrow eve. That one I am bricking it about, and would rather not reveal it to them just yet, I am sure they will be pleased on one level but it's a long story.

Anyway I think I'm fairly in line with stoat, towns and ga. Trying so hard not to worry about it falling out at any time though.

Saw a great video where the guy was supposedly taking a pic of his wife with her parents (but was actually secretly taking said video instead) and instead of 'cheese' he said ... "Everyone say... We're going to be grandparents!" i did think that was quite nice as their reactions are captured on video.

Sorry for the long post, it's late and I can't sleep Hmm

Sounds like tomorrow is a big day!! Good luck!
