Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 21st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 38th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

chat it's also worth looking at sassy bloom, it's about twice the price but you can subscribe for as many or little boxes as you want www.sassybloom.com/?referral_id=boonbelx you can sign up from 28 weeks till baby is 2. I've not got any experience with nonabox but have heard mixed reviews

laurenamium · 04/02/2015 20:18

Oh wow wil I hear about people with leaking waters but I've never actually 'met' someone it happened to! Can't believe they didn't believe you! I really do hope when I get the cream or whatever it is for this thrush it fixes the fanjo pains. That would be amazing! Apart from the obvious increased clear discharge there's no other symptoms from it so it's not too bad!

Those boxes look good boo what kind of things are in them?

mountaingirl01 · 04/02/2015 20:59

Sorry about your dad la hopefully sounds like everything went OK, will getting up to Norfolk be doable? My dh got helicoptered off a mountain a few years bac, first I knew about it was when he rang for a lift home from the hospital Hmm

stoaty 48hr bloods would give you a quicker idea as to what was going on, but definitely sounds good. With both my MCs nothing could be seen on scan but a load of blood. I'm glad you didn't need dildocam :)

zyla hope your mum is ok- just when she will be wanting new born cuddles too! The pompoms are out and glittery waiting for friday!

batfish · 04/02/2015 21:18

Did any of you find a fun way to tell family about your pregnancy? We live overseas and my parents are visiting in a week - if things are still OK by then I will only be just under 6 weeks and it is freaking me out telling them so early but I won't be able to keep it from them as they are staying for 2 weeks and we all like a drink! Also I never actually thought that when the time came I would be able to tell them face to face so that is really nice. However as we will be telling my parents then to keep it fair we also have to tell hubby's parents and both of our sisters. Those 3 conversations will be over phone/ skype sadly.

So in an effort to remain positive about the fact that I will definitely have a successful pregnancy Grin I am trying to think of how I can tell them. Nothing too cheesy (the Internet has all sorts of cringey ideas - each to their own but they're not for me) but just something a bit more creative than 'I'm pregnant'......any ideas? It is my sister in law's birthday on 11th but we will prob tell her the day before but I thought there could be some kind of birthday present link! I won't have anything to show by then like a scan pic or anything.

stoat really glad the docs were able to confirm no ectopic - rubbish that they were a little dismissive though, I am a big fan of NHS as used to work for them and know that the vast majority of the healthcare professionals are fantastic, however it is unfortunate that there are the odd few who forget what things are like from the patient's point of view - yes to them you are just one of many anxious ladies in early pregnancy but to you it is the most important and worrying thing in the world right now.

DulcetMoans · 04/02/2015 21:26

Glad it was as positive as it can be at this stage stoat. Bloods will help you through until next scan. I got them at 48 hr intervals second time. Worth asking?

zyla you are so close! Are you excited yet?

Oh pis, fuck him! Just do what you have to, leave him the shit and go have your baby!

Thrush is not cool but better than anything more sinister lauren. Can you have treatment for thrush when upduffed?

Active bumps was not quite the opportunity to make friends I had hoped - there was 2 of us! It's a new class so in happy to keep going but I wanted a new friend!

DulcetMoans · 04/02/2015 21:29

Oh bat, one thing a friends relative did was post presents to people and ask them to open them with her on Skype. Was things like t-shirt saying 'I'm going to be an auntie' so they open it on Skype and read with you watching.

Not as cringey as some stuff but maybe still too much?

willywallace · 04/02/2015 21:38

My yoga class was like that Dulcet. I think we once reached the dizzy heights of four people.

Nobody seemed in the slightest bit bothered Lauren. All they did was move my induction forward by a day.

God I really want to go to bed but this child will not settle.

TheBooMonster · 04/02/2015 21:39

lauren there's a mix of stuff in the boxes, some of it will be full size products and some will be samples. This is what I got in boxes four and five of the project B boxes (both blog posts with pics), the stuff in the project b boxes should be fairly static with only a change or two each month. this is my blog post for the sassy bloom box I got, I've only had the one box from them so far, the contents continuously changes with he sassy bloom boxes, I've not seen any review vidoes with the exact contents of my box, with sassy bloom you an tell them if you're having a boy or a girl if you know and they'll cater the stuff in the box to that sex.

batfish · 04/02/2015 21:46

Ah that's quite a nice idea dulcet - I am just not sure I can be that organised as we only get back from holiday on Sunday and will have to tell them max 3 days later otherwise we will have to tell them whilst my mum and dad are there and it would be nice to have a private moment with each person. But it's definitely food for thought! My gut feeling is that I just want to make minimal fuss as it is so early but if all works out absolutely fine it will have been a shame to downplay it all so much as it is not every day they get to find out about their first grandchild/niece/nephew. Hubby is just taking it all on his stride and can't wait to tell them, wish I wasn't so apprehensive!

RPopz · 04/02/2015 22:22

God I am shit at keeping up with you lot now! Will you still have me on your shiny new fred?? Blush

Turbo lolz at your cervix misconceptions La Grin My LD teacher did the cookie cutter thing too... Hmm

DS being a mega whinge bag tonight... be back to catch up properly soon, promise x

splodge77 · 04/02/2015 23:03

Hallo, eek I'm crap at keeping up with Fred too. Sorry to hear about the thrush Lauren. I've had 4 bouts of it this preg, it's yucky. Doc said it's ok to use pessaries & cream but not to take oral tablets. Hope it clears up. I hd to have extra scan yesterday as midwife said I was measuring small (I couldn't believe it - I feel bloody huge!) anyway sinographer said baby's growing fine so that's a relief. Just bought a 2nd hand co sleeper cot & it's up in bedroom. Starting to feel real. Eek!!

willywallace · 05/02/2015 00:03

God Popz anyone would think you had a baby to look after or something Wink .

Glad all is ok splodge. I always get sent for growth scans and everything is always fine. Nice to get an extra scan actually.

ZylaB · 05/02/2015 01:51

Why am I awake?? whiiiiiiine I'm so tired, but feeling huge and uncomfy and I want to sleep! Also apparently need to toilet every 45 mins, like...desperately.... Get there and its a fucking thimble full!

Sorry lol Grin

DulcetMoans · 05/02/2015 07:25

Have you got an en suite at least zyla? I get that even now - have to loo urgently and then barely anything there. Embarrassing if someone else is in there at the same time, I did need to go honestly!

We will let you stay popz, you're worth the wait!

Glad the scan was all good splodge!

LaLaLaaaa · 05/02/2015 07:40

I hear you on the loo desperation only to produce a dribble! Every hour at work!

Zyla you're nearly there! My BFF is having CS tomorrow :) glad your dm is ok (except for her poor wrist). Is she going to be with you at the hospital?

I spoke to my df last night. He sounds awful :( apparently he collapsed last week and nearly died which is why they got him in to fit pacemaker. He had 2 ops on tues. He sounds like a broken old man. He's had a heart condition since contracting malaria 12 years ago visiting me in Africa. I'd booked a day off on Friday to have a rest but I'm going to use it now to drive over and see him at his gf house. We don't have the best relationship but I'm pretty shaken up.

Went to fit mummy last night and there were 2 girls same far along as me so that's good Smile hopefully I can make some friends. The girls in my daisy class are nice too.

Lauren yuck to thrush but at least you've caught it before it gets really bad! Just a note - if you've dtd recently you might want to get cream for dp too. I had recurring thrush for months once and couldn't work out why. It was coz is given it to dh and he kept passing it back! Like thrush tennis... Blush

willywallace · 05/02/2015 07:56

Thrush tennis Grin .

So sorry about your Dad La, hope he's on the mend Thanks .

Ah one of the joys of bf is not having to go to the toilet every five minutes. I generally have the bladder of an old lady with a wee infection so this is luxury for me.

This is my first day alone with two children - I know, I've totally milked the help - and I'm so fecking knackered already.

Stoatystoat · 05/02/2015 08:48

Good luck willy! You'll be fine Brew Cake

mountaingirl01 · 05/02/2015 09:20

Can't help you there I'm afraid bat as still haven't told mine! But will be listening in to hear some ideas....

Stoatystoat · 05/02/2015 09:26

I have ended up outing myself so early and I don't even sound happy, I can't wait to tell people in a happy way! I've had a couple of social engagements I've had to bail on or attend and not drink...the keeping it secret it a huge source of anxiety that I can do without. I'm also pretty much the last In my friends to be pregnant so need their advice. As for the important people, I ended up blurting it out! We live with my Dad so it was impossible to keep quiet much after we found out.

Pisghetti · 05/02/2015 09:59

I had to tell my mum a little early as we were at a family wedding and she was nagging me to drink! I couldn't get her alone so did it by text so I could then speak to her. So that wasn't a magical moment Wink took my scan photo to my dad's to tell him. Not very imaginative! Did a 'science experiment' with DS where he had to test an unnamed liquid with an IC while I ran some lecturey commentary ending in showing him what the test stick was for - DP was slightly horrified at the cup of wee on the table!

Good luck today Wil!

Hope you're ok Zyla and not going stir crazy. Is DH able to stay with you now?

Still got the work anxiety but heading to London now for my appraisal. Fairly comfortable with two bits of work - the third is shockingly shit. Hope we don't spend too much time on it..... Just checking my calendar and it looks like I've only got three days to get through with my difficult colleague when we're both in the office. He used to be my manager so it could be worse! Every morning I've been doing this 'one more Monday, one more Tuesday' etc countdown. Only got one more of those to do and then it is 'last Monday, last Tuesday'!

A friend of mine had her baby last Friday. 11lb7oz. I think my poor vagina has gone into shock.

LaLaLaaaa · 05/02/2015 10:12

You'll be great wil Grin cbeebies is your best friend!

We announced with a pic of the two of us holding the scan, to try and be a bit different. I have a few friends who used their 'baby on board' badge

teejayem · 05/02/2015 10:19

Holy shit pis My Perineum is squeezing itself in horror just thinking about 11lb!!! jesus.

Hope your dad is on the way to recovery la

Ours was pretty unimaginative tbh bat we'd only just old everyone that we were eloping abroad in June to get married (was going to stop ttcing, I fell preg at the bloody last minute!!) and my parents and MiL etc were looking at flights etc, so we had to spill the beans a bit earlier than I would have liked. We just had them all over for dinner, and said, 'well, there's been a change of plan, we aren't going to get married abroad after all' and DF breathed an audible sigh of relief until Mr Tee piped up 'We're having a baby instead!'

For the FB announcement we bought a pair of very tiny unisex hi top trainers and lined them up next to a pair each of ours and put the caption 'this is what happens when you celebrate your engagement a little too vigorously' :D

YY to the pointless weeing. I almost ran someone over on the way back from work last night because I was so desperate to go, and when I made it back I literally peed a millilitre.

Shamed a commuter into giving me a seat this morning because I was crying. Stupidly, over a small huff with Mr Tee who told me I was talking too loudly this morning, so I didn't speak to him at all after that, and then started to feel horribly guilty. What is with that?! Third time in so many weeks.

Morning ladies

ignores talk of 11lb babies

I went to pregnancy yoga last night, they are not a friendly bunch at all
the teacher was late so we had to hang around outside, I tried to strike up conversation but they just looked at me as though I was mad.
There was a new lady who was on the mat next to me, 17 weeks along, but she had the worst body odour I have encountered since I was at school and had to walk past the boys' changing room Angry

Not sure whether to go back to my old class and do modified moves (which my teacher suggested).

I did, at last, get a good night's sleep though Grin

TheBooMonster · 05/02/2015 10:36

la how worrying, but at least you can go see him at the weekend!

11lb baby?! Is it too late to demand a c-section? I don't want to be at risk of pushing anything that ginormous out of my vagina >.<

DH has brought a cold home and has taken a day off work to look after DD so I can curl up in a ball in bed and pretend the world doesn't exist because I feel awful.

fattycow · 05/02/2015 10:53

Did you ladies hear about that baby in Australia? 40 pounds... Shock
