Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 21st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 38th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I was thinking that I would have to cym. I'm at work now so I will ring at 4:30/5 when I finish and pop down then...I bet its just discharge!

LaLaLaaaa · 04/02/2015 14:01

Hi! We all sound a bit fraught/down today :(

I'm feeling weird about my dad, I'm so relieved surgery went well but what if it hadn't? I just wish he would let us know when important things are happening.

We managed some 'sexy times' (brilliant phrase!) the other day. I felt like id conquered Everest!

Wil my daisy class leader brought cookie cutters to class from tiny to massive to show progression of cervix. It terrified me! I also have to confess to never having realised that the cervix is not your vagina hole. So I've always pictured a massive hole down there when I pictured dilation!!! I'm meant to be a bloody biologist!

Fleur I felt like shit yesterday too. If you need a couple of days off take them! You can self certify up to 7 days.

Any news stoat? X

LaLaLaaaa · 04/02/2015 14:02

I second calling midwife Lauren. Lots of cm here to the point where I wear panty liners.

minimooo · 04/02/2015 14:33

Hi viroids! Sorry I've been crap at posting recently, been really busy. Had standard 28-week blood test yesterday (didn't pass out - yay!) and then had first hypnobirthing class last night. It was really good and I met some lovely women.
We've got the crazy baby shower/bbq thing this weekend that mil is organising. It's still looking likely to be 79 people. Not sure how I'm going to cope because I absolutely hate being the centre of attention! Dh is on very strict orders to not leave me on my own! Confused
My mum, brother and his girlfriend are all staying with us this weekend, and dh has relatives over from Cyprus at the moment, so it's a bit manic at chez minimoo! Hoping for a rest next week...

sorry to hear of ill parents - hope they recover quickly Flowers

fleur I second lauren that I felt a hell of a lot worse up to about 18-20weeks. Now at almost-29-weeks I feel pretty good really. So, if you feel like you need to take some time off at this point, do it! Hope you feel better soon Flowers

Have you had your scan yet stoat. Hope everything is OK

Good to hear you're hanging in there zyla. Not long to go now!

lauren sorry to hear about the achey fanjo - sounds really horrid. Also, sorry that I can't give any advice about the leakage situation - I couldn't even pretend to know. However, I'd say to check with mw if you think there's a possibility it could be waters. Are you still getting lots of movement from baby? Hope it's just discharge and nothing serious.

Hello to the newbies! Smile

Stoatystoat · 04/02/2015 14:40

All ok as far as they can tell but they say am measuring 5 weeks rather than the 6 and a bit I think I am. They can see a bit of a bleed in there too but can't tell me much. Have to come back again in a week when hopefully it will be a heartbeat.

The good news is that it's not ectopic.

They were a bit blasé to be honest, but at least I'm in the system and know to expect more bleeding.

KatoPotato · 04/02/2015 14:43

Boom. Marking place

mountaingirl01 · 04/02/2015 14:53

Stoat are they doing 48hr bloods? X

Stoatystoat · 04/02/2015 14:59

No. Should they be?

LaLaLaaaa · 04/02/2015 15:11

Stoat - that's good news and hopefully there's a logical explanation for bleeding. Glad they determined no ectopic, that's one big positive for you. I wondered about bloods too, to see how fast hcg levels rising.

When I had my suspected ectopic they booked me in for scan and bloods a week later, same as it sounds like they are doing with you.

Keep positive, today you're pregnant x

Stoatystoat · 04/02/2015 15:17

Lala, i just had a look back and I'm sorry about your Dad and hope he's doing alright now

TheBooMonster · 04/02/2015 15:20

la yikes about your dad! I'd be furious with him!

I found a voucher for Project B in mother and baby, you can get your first box for £1 (£14 thereafter or £15 if you add a charity donation) project b does boxes of samples and full size pregnancy and baby things once a month from 12 weeks (to a total of 7 boxes) I've had three boxes so far and been fairly impressed with the contents. the code for the £1 box is MOTHERBABY and is valid until 01/05/15.

stoat glad you were able to get checked out gx that everything carries on as it should and the bleeding sorts it's self out!

batfish · 04/02/2015 16:49

Sorry to hear about your dad la, hope he is doing well. I had to read your post about 3 times as thought naaaa she can't just have said her dad called to let her know he had open heart surgery yesterday!! Like it is nothing major!

Well I appear to be still pregnant, yippee! That's a whole week now that I have known - a whole week of analysing every abdo twinge and running to the loo every 30 mins expecting bleeding!

Hubby said to me last night 'woah your boobs look veiny, what's wrong?!' Ermmm let me think about that one.....bless him! He really has no idea!

Purplecircle · 04/02/2015 17:14

Just realised I never do the bold thing! breaches mumsnet/just shagging etiquette

la I hope you're dad is ok

zyla glad your mum is ok but how exasperating. You're so close to 36 weeks now, You've done a great job

We're back home now, will be glad to get into my own bed tonight before I have to head south for a meeting tomorrow!

I asked my sister today why no one is excited and she said we're all terrified - eeek! I don't know what to make of that. I know they are worrying about me. Hopefully the scan will set everyone's mind at rest on Sunday

Fleurchamp · 04/02/2015 17:19

Sorry to hear about your dad la will you be able to get there to see him?

I hate the switch between your parents being the ones looking after us to us having to look after them Sad

Fleurchamp · 04/02/2015 17:20

Ps thank you for your kindness. I kind of had a melt down this afternoon and I am going to wfh for the next couple of afternoons :-)

couldhavebeenme · 04/02/2015 17:54

Lauren hope all ok, I had a "leak" in first pregnancy which involved visit to hospital, all was ok and it wasn't waters maybe just discharge! Felt a bit daft but they were happy to check it out.

ZylaB · 04/02/2015 18:00

Hey all, my mum is home, it's just a broken wrist so nothing major at least! My induction has been moved forward a day! It'll be on Friday now when I'm 36 weeks, guess they had a space open up. Yay for one less day in hospital :)

lauren go and get checked out, better to be safe and reassured!

stoat that's as good as it could be at the moment, stay positive :)

townsender · 04/02/2015 18:00

Stoat thats great news its not ectopic, and if they're blase then thats a pretty good sign I'd say. Think we must be at very similar stages. I'm going back for scan 2 (to look for heartbeat) either Wed or Thurs next week - what about you? Did you manage ok with dildocam?

Lauren gx for you mdear

La what a nightmare with your dad. Sound like his op went ok though, hope you manage to see him soon.

Not long now Zyla

fleur hope you are tucked up in bed with a good book and lots of water.

laurenamium · 04/02/2015 18:03

I've got thrush Blush no leaky waters but at least I'm not going mad and there WAS lots of fluid!

Currently have me strapped to a monitor to be safe but all is well!

Stoatystoat · 04/02/2015 18:11

They didn't do dildocam!!! All that whittling for nothing!! I've been thinking of you today towns. It's nice to have a buddy at a similar stage.

lauren sorry that annoying bird is with you. I detest that bastard.

zyla eeeeek!

purple the spotting has put a damper on everyone's excitement here, lots of worrying. MIL is desperate to start knitting bless her. Saw Dad before I went to the hospital, the way he looked at me...like I was still his toddler.

Purplecircle · 04/02/2015 18:15

Damn I missed a page -glad things look ok stoaty and you didn't need dildocam. Keeping everything crossed for both of us Smile

Purplecircle · 04/02/2015 18:16

And yuck to thrush Lauren. Hope it clears up soon

Pisghetti · 04/02/2015 18:26

Evening viroids.

Sounds nasty Lauren Confused

Sorry to hear about the naughty parents!

Glad you're feeling better Fleur

I'm panicking about a work situation to the point where I'm actually hoping I fall ill so I don't have to go in again. I've only got a week and a bit to go! I have a colleague I find difficult. He challenges everything I do and nothing is ever good enough. Normally I just let it roll off me but for some reason I can't at the moment. It doesn't help that he'll be taking on the majority of my work probably. My stomach is knotting up at the thought of having to see him on Friday (whereas I'm not at all bothered about my appraisal tomorrow and actually looking forward to the trip to London as I don't have to see him). I feel a bit ridiculous and overdramatic and I've no idea why I'm letting it get to me so much.

I've also realised I've turned up for Daisybirthing and I've forgotten to get changed on the way. Maybe a second chocolate flapjack will help.....

ChatEnOeuf · 04/02/2015 18:30

Stoaty - glad there's no ectopic, hopefully your dates are just a bit out and everything goes well at the next scan.

Wow Zyla - Friday it is! Good luck! Pleased your mum's ok - bit of added stress for you though.

Ah thrush sucks Lauren - that might explain some of the pain you've been having too I imagine. Glad it's not your waters...that'd move you up the list pretty swiftly Shock

La! What is your dad like?! Give him a talking to. The first I knew my dad had a broken ankle from a drunken post-curry walk home in the ice was when the hospital called me (as his NoK) as he'd forgotten his wallet!

I'm shattered all the time, Fleur. DH keeps asking when I'm going to glow. Hoping it'll start once we're away for half term...only 9 days to go!

Not heard of Project B before Boo but my mum wanted to get me 'a little something' so I might tell her about it - thanks.

Wil I can't believe your DH said that! Daft bugger, I bet he thought it was such a compliment.

willywallace · 04/02/2015 19:05

I know Chat, dumb eejit.

Hope everyone feeling tired and low feels better soon.

Mind over matter Pis. Fuck him (not literally). He is so unimportant in the grand scheme of things right now and you won't even have to think about him for the length of your mat leave.

Lauren my waters leaked during my first pg. The midwife refused to believe me and told me it was urine. Was eventually sent for a scan as was small for dates and the sonographer said "oh, you don't have much fluid left". No shit sherlock, only been telling you all for weeks. Angry Glad yours is just thrush though - even though it's a total pain.

MicroWil is two weeks now Cym. Maybe I'll be up for it at 5 weeks. Took ages last time as was in so much pain so hoping it won't be too long. Although I think I'll be really apprehensive at first.
