Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 21st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 38th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I have most definitely stepped away from the sticks. I promised the nurse I would! just had fish n chips for tea!

I want a cleaner. nearly did when we were both earning well.

Indigoblue2 · 15/02/2015 18:24

We are currently thinking about getting a cleaner too! Even a couple of hours a weeks would be good. They could just hoover and do the bathrooms - sounds like heaven!

DulcetMoans · 15/02/2015 18:25

Oh god how I want a cleaner! DH hates having people in the house though and all the while my DIY needs doing I wouldn't want one in either but would love to just come home and have the house clean.

Great news on the fish and chips lil. I would be jealous but I finally have pizza after 48hrs trying to get the asda pizza counter to serve us. Hope the nurse helped to reassure you as well.

bat, there's loads you can still do exercise wise and all the while you feel well then eat well - that should keep you healthy at least. It's not really the time to concentrate on losing weight but keeping yourself in the best shape for labour.

pis is that a bottle each for them for the night? Bit much for a Sunday night?!

Right, viroids, I have a place on my yoga class if I want to go tomorrow. I thought they seemed frosty last time I popped in so was put off. Should I give it a go anyway and risk feeling out of place or bail?

Oh, and, is there such a thing as a bump growth spurt?! I'm fairly sure I did not look this big 3 days ago!

willywallace · 15/02/2015 18:36

I'd go Dulcet. At the very least it'll be good for you even if you don't make friends. My instructor was odd but I went because it really helped my back.

I'm too messy to get a cleaner.

minimooo · 15/02/2015 18:52

lil I've just caught up with the Fred and seen your updates. You poor thing, what a headfuck. Glad you can get into clinic tomorrow to find out what's going on. Really hoping there's a simple explanation and that everything looks good tomorrow xx

Mmmmm now I want fish and chips! I have a Chinese on order though, so shouldn't be so greedy.

lauren hope you get answers re the swelling tomorrow and hope it's nothing serious.

Wish I had a cleaner (dh does absolutely zero housework!) but seeing as I work from home it seems a bit weird to get a cleaner to come in to clean while I'm here!

My neighbours are driving me crazy - they're so noisy! They've got guests staying with them at the moment and the kids are running wild, screaming, slamming doors... I can't bring myself to complain though - they're just kids having fun - so I'm sitting on the couch seething instead with tv on full volume to try to drown out the noise Anyone else watching "super cute animals"? The otters were so cute!

batfish · 15/02/2015 18:53

Oh god I'm a lost cause. Had salmon and veg for dinner (v good) and then Haribo which my mum had brought! Size 14 here we come!

couldhavebeenme · 15/02/2015 19:02

Just caught up on thread, hope tomorrow is ok lil.

Dulcet I would go to the yoga. If nothing else it's great for your back and very relaxing. The class I go to everyone is quiet though friendly Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 15/02/2015 19:12

dulcet I would go - you'll feel better for it and might meet some really nice people.

mini I feel your pain! My noisy neighbours FOLLOWED us! We moved house to a different village and rather bizarrely they ended up arriving a week later to rent the house next to us! We'd complained about their DIY noise back at the old house so their faces were a picture when they were moving in and I went out to say hello! To be fair they were renting this time so there was none of the DIY noise which is what I'd complained about previously, but they had a wee boy who would be in the garden shouting from 7am every morning. They moved out at the end of last year and now I have a very quiet couple next door, hooray! :)

bat don't worry about it! Haribo is allowed Grin

I'd LOVE a cleaner but our house is tiny so really it's not justified. Although it would make me happy!

willywallace · 15/02/2015 19:17

Tell people not to bring you treats Bat? I have no willpower. If it's in the house, I eat it.

I feel semi human today.

lildottie · 15/02/2015 19:19

thanks mini and could

dulcet I'd go. first impressions aren't always reliable. maybe try a few weeks and see how u like it. you can always stop later if they are too frosty.

funny we're talking about cleaners and I'm watching hoarders!

Fleurchamp · 15/02/2015 20:11

Just reading back, sorry to hear about your worries lil GX you get reassurance tomorrow. The first few weeks are a mindfuck.

We have a cleaner. She has saved many an argument. I like knowing that the house has been cleaned and hoovered once a week at least. My DH is pretty clean and tidy but he would leave the house to become utterly filthy before blitzing it.
She comes on a Monday and so the house stays relatively clean during the week as we are at work for most of it. She also irons and hides stuff

The only thing I don't like is that she seems to turn up when she likes and as I come home for lunch she if often there which makes me feel uncomfortable.

Purplecircle · 15/02/2015 20:22

Bugger we aren't posting on the new fred yet!

What can I expect at my midwife booking in appt and do I need a wee sample? I can't remember what she said on the phone

RPopz · 15/02/2015 20:26

Go Dulce If they're shitty you don't have to go again and at least you tried!

Any word from Lauren ??

Oh man, I'd love a cleaner but I'd feel a bit of an ass employing one when I live in a tiny terrace... But between DH and the dog... this place is clean for about 15 minutes a week...

Just looked back at your frer lil after reading La's post.... I can actually see the second line. It's faint but it's there. Will be thinking of you in the morning.

LaLaLaaaa · 15/02/2015 20:34

purple I didn't need urine sample for booking in - needed one for first mw appointment and when having bloods done at hospital, before the booking in appointment.

Mine was about an hour - she went through family history, all my personal/contact details plus history of previous pregnancy etc. I took with me info from my dh and his mum about his family history, plus my own family history.

At it she went through my mat notes and I got my pink notes at the end of it. She also checked my 12 week scan was booked in and arranged my anti-D clinic appointment.

Fattycow · 15/02/2015 20:36

I haven't handed in any urine! Never been asked to.

laurenamium · 15/02/2015 20:41

Oh I'm still here! Not too worried, my hands are still swollen but my face isn't and I haven't got a headache or any blurred vision or anything. Ill take urine to the consultant tomorrow to be sure but I'm sure it's just one of those unattractive things!

DulcetMoans · 15/02/2015 20:51

Cheers all. Told her I will go so see how it is. If it helps with back ache i'll give it a shot.

I think i did do a sample at booking in purple but I've never taken one with me, get given the pot there so go needing a wee. If you don't need to do it then you can just have a wee after!

Haribo bat? That's nothing - crack on!

I tend to eat my most calorific dinners watching stuff about dieters lil, same as your horders situation!

townsender · 15/02/2015 20:58

Lil I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you tomorrow.

I am pigging my face out at the moment, and will continue to do so until I can survive an hour with no food without feeling sick. Fully expecting to be the size of a house soon, but keeping my fingers crossed that I can fit into my work clothes for at least 4 more weeks.

Fattycow · 15/02/2015 21:45

Ooh, cake!

Fattycow · 15/02/2015 21:45

Ooh, cake!

DulcetMoans · 15/02/2015 21:51
