Marking my place. Sorry not been on here for a while- been keeping myself busy in run up to 20 week scan which is on Tuesday. Will post properly after.

Still a week until my scan Hmm

Jackiebrambles · 25/01/2015 15:12

Marking place Smile

rolypolybird84 · 25/01/2015 16:26

jackie I'm not loving being at the back either! Feels like such a long wait!!! 5th Feb for me...feels like an age. Hurry up!!! Grin

Thelovecats · 25/01/2015 16:33

Marking place.
Saw baby kicking from outside earlier- just make my tummy wobble though! Need Friday to come quickly because I'm driving myself nuts worrying about something being wrong.
Had a good chat with a friend who had a home birth, and feeling positive about it :)

sparkle17 · 25/01/2015 16:55

I'm towards the back of the bus as well. Scan a week tomorrow. So excited to see my bubba again. I'm going to go to the shops straight after and buy my first baby outfit!

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 25/01/2015 17:03

Thanks for the new thread Smile

Those of you with dhs planning trips away near due date.... Mine is organising a massive international conference in London 12-17 June!! My EDD is 8th June but dd was 12 days overdue so I am well and truly cacking myself. Not to mention that I don't much fancy being in sole charge of dd whilst overdue. Dh seems to think it will be ok if he checks his phone regularly ConfusedConfusedConfused

Just noticed the new thread!

Emz, I was a regular Jillian Michael-er before getting pregnant. I was so ill with colds and coughs for five weeks that I couldn't work out and I didn't think it was sensible to start working out strenuously again after such a break. Good job, as I then developed PGP (due to all the coughing) for a week! I'm taking it easy now as I don't want to risk it coming back. I have an Erin O'Brien pregnancy DVD (pre and post natal workouts) which is good. I'm not one for public classes (I really go for it at home and don't think I would in a class), the only thing I like doing in public is running. I can't wait to start the Jillian Michaels again, but will have to wait a while as having a c-section.

Fab lovecats, Friday will be here before you know it.

JennyOfOldstones · 25/01/2015 18:56

cuphat I have gone from Jillian to Erin too! Had a horrible cough and sinusitis for the last two weeks but hopefully getting back to it this week.

My DP has booked a racing experience day on 23rd May and my EDD is 2nd June. I am now convinced I will go into labour that day! It is also my brother's birthday!

katbags · 25/01/2015 19:21

Emz I'm doing pregnancy yoga and loving it! It's quite hippytastic which I don't mind but others might Grin. But having done normal yoga before I was pleasantly surprised how challenging it is. Was worried I'd be paying lots just to sit and breathe and not much else. I imagine there's a big difference depending on teacher but I'm v impressed so far

Tryingreallyhard84 · 25/01/2015 20:29

-goes off to investigate this Erin woman - used to do Jillian as well. Noticed a double chin in my bump pic so upping my game a bit. I did have the urge to go running yesterday but it was still death trap icey on our road.

Tryingreallyhard84 · 25/01/2015 20:36

....and thanks to the joys of online shopping said Erin DVD is now on its way to me. Thank you for the recommendation.

ChatEnOeuf · 25/01/2015 21:09

Thanks for the new thread :)

My DH informed me this week that I 'need' to deliver in the first week of June (EDD 23rd!), as he has conferences and international meetings all through the rest of the month! I'll let the baby know then Hmm

Not even thinking about the relative logistics of getting this baby a passport in order to travel back to the UK for two weddings, the first of which is less than a week after I'm due...important weddings too, ones I actually care about attending!

Yum, chocolate brownies Grin

ememsmum · 25/01/2015 21:10

I bought the bump to birth dvd from this site: www.pilateswithpriya.co.uk/site/dvd/. Did it for the first time yesterday and enjoyed it. Nice relaxing pace. I have pelvic girdle pain and am hoping it will help.

I had almost 12 weeks off the gym due to nausea but got back into it in the new year. Luckily hadn't lost all my fitness. Am doing 3 sessions per week of 20 mins cardio plus 10-20 mins resistance. Plus pilates somewhere. Plus hubby bought me an antenatal exercise dvd so need to try and fit that in too.

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 25/01/2015 21:17

Chat, my dh said that as these days everything is target driven, I need a target date, so mine is 1st June. Haha. Actually, last time was similar except at least then the important things were only in his usual workplace.

As regards exercise, I found my regular class wiped me out two weeks ago and have done very little since. There is a yoga class on Monday nights here which I'm going to try, although I've never done yoga and my lack of flexibility is a family joke. All the aquanatal classes and so on which I'd like to do are in working hours and I don't think school would take kindly to me skipping spelling tests or whatever to take my bump swimming!

Tryingreallyhard84 · 25/01/2015 21:34

chat the brownies were good. Not helping with the exercise issue or double chin. I'm taking them into work tomorrow and oh has to take some as well.
