20th JSing GRADS thread - our chat's still filthy, just not in front of the baby...

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 20th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 37th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Waves to Rhi and Bat!!

Stoat I'm a bleeder now too. I'm so glad I read your posts up to now as I was thinking of you and it's somehow helped me get through today.
I got to work this morning and found a lot of blood (more than just spotting). Went straight to A&E, and was examined by consultant, took bloods, urines. I was in quite a state (and I'm a bereaved mum, don't know if that made a difference), so they squeezed me in for a scan as soon as they could. Long story short - everything looks 'normal' but it was too early to see a fetus, let alone a heartbeat. They could see the egg sac, and confirmed it wasn't ectopic.

Dildocam was fine, BTW. Much worse was having the tummy scan on a full bladder - that was really uncomfortable.
Stoat did you get an internal exam at all yet? You're due around the same time as me, so I guess that's the main reason for not scanning (really, they couldn't see a lot), but they could have still checked your womb was closed. I went to the hospital local to my work, not the one I'm booking into - I think they're all different so if the bleeding gets worse might be worth trying A&E at a different hospital?
Gx counsellor is nice to you.

LaLaLaaaa · 03/02/2015 21:12

Town so sorry to hear that you've had this stress :( but yes seeing sac is a good sign! So hopefully it'll stop messing with your head and stop bleeding.

Glad you had someone with you Flowers

Stoatystoat · 03/02/2015 21:20

towns Flowers I'm sorry you're experiencing the bleeding as well. So stressful. I'm heartened to think that my posts have helped even if I am a whinge bag (hormonal crying!) Sounds like you've been through a lot today. I guess you're a commuter too? If it gets bad for me at work, the only comfort is that I'm a 5 minute walk from a maternity hospital. I have had no checks yet, go in on Thursday and see what I get treat to then, woo hoo.

I'm really sorry you've lost a DC, I
Imagine you're at a heightened state of anxiety which is totally understandable. Hope you are getting some love and support.

Am sure my counsellor will be lovely, I've been seeing her on and off for a few years. I started going again because of my issues with internals, birth and emotional baggage related to lack of a mum myself. As it happens, my stepmum has been doing a sterling job on the mum front and all of a sudden childbirth sounds good now I just want to get there. So it's a good job I enlisted her!

Has your bleeding stopped? I can't believe how common it is.

townsender · 03/02/2015 21:48

Bleeding is now just spotting, so hopefully it'll be gone by tomorrow.

Yeah, I commute, and today my lovely DP went home, got the car, and drove to pick me up so I wouldn't need to get the train back on my own. Smile

I'm normally a really calm person, but after what happened with my little angel, I've decided to LET myself be anxious and show my anxiety when I am around HCPs. I slightly blame losing her to not creating enough of a fuss when I went into early labour (although it prob would have made no difference). I don't like being anxious though. It's not in my nature, and its exhausting.

DulcetMoans · 03/02/2015 21:58

Sorry you are having such a stressful start town and stoat. These things aren't unusual though, the waiting is the worst but we are used to that from TTC! Hopefully you will both get the support you need.

Your news sounds quite mixed there zyla! All on track for Saturday though at least? Another day closer!

Who was it that didn't tell work until really late? Was it you pis? Still only told boss and my little team. It's becoming obvious...

Had my parent information session today. Was ok, loads of pregnant ladies! Met one due week after me but not really chance to chat. Lots if stands with local groups to talk to including the reusable nappy people which was interesting. And I got my freebie pack from Boots today! All about babies!

Stoatystoat · 03/02/2015 22:03

I really hope it is gone by the morning. I'll be coming by to check on you. That's good your DP was able to come and get you, sometimes a nifty commute seems like ages away. DH doesn't drive but I'm getting a lift from my BIL to the station and DH walks to meet me. Days like today I wished he drove.

I think your approach sounds very wise, squeaking wheel and all that. Sometimes we are too brave and it means people take you at face value. My DSis tells me I've got to do the same, but I'm rubbish at assertiveness, I'll be taking her to a lot of things with me I think. You're not to blame at all...and look at your little angel being a big sister & guardian angel this time round. Keep listening to her xx

willywallace · 03/02/2015 22:06

Juni didn't tell work for ages Dulcet.

So sorry for your loss Towns, I hope the bleeding stops for you.

We need a new thread viroids.

ChatEnOeuf · 03/02/2015 22:13

That's the quieter one Zyla, stick with it if you can Smile

Stoat I completely agree - and care varies from place to place. So frustrating. Sorry to see you are in the same boat Town - hopefully all will remain well.

First AN class today...three couples including us. All have very different first pregnancy experiences and all from different countries, very different from home...feel a bit homesick now Hmm

My detail scan is Feb 10th, La - think Widdly's is just before mine but can't quite remember.

LaLaLaaaa · 03/02/2015 22:16

In so sorry to hear of your loss towns, fx for you this time xx

Someone else's turn for new thread, someone with better title skills than me ! Zyla? It will be your last pregnant thread (this time at least!) after all...

DulcetMoans · 03/02/2015 22:30

Oh yeah, it was juni! Was never sure how people wouldn't notice but now I can see they just don't pay attention!

My 20 week scan is 20th Feb la.

Forgot to say, DH read this today and came home to tell me all about dating and pregnancy. He found it helpful.

How accurate are 'due dates'?

lildottie · 03/02/2015 23:55

whoever starts it make it a cosy one, I'm planning on settling in properly!

town stoat thinking of both of you

zyla a mixed bag but at least she's staying put! good news in the pram though!

willywallace · 04/02/2015 03:02

When are you testing Lil?

Stoatystoat · 04/02/2015 06:34

Hope knicker watch is okay this morning towns. Are you at work as normal today?

DulcetMoans · 04/02/2015 07:27

Rock, paper, scissors for thread starting?

Do you need to go back in to clinic for testing too lil?

I can't sleep on my side, it's just not comfy! Not allowed to sleep on back and tits won't allow me to sleep on front so... No sleep!!

townsender · 04/02/2015 07:53

Knicker watch good this morning, blood all gone. Phew! A bit on edge still, but feeling much better. I'm going to ring my local hospital EPU this morning and see if I can move my next scan there.

I'm working from home this morning as I have a business lunch later which is closer to get to from home than the office. Lie-in whoohoo! And I can tell my colleagues I'm not drinking because I'm taking it easy after yesterday - good excuse.

laurenamium · 04/02/2015 08:10

Morning viroids! towns excellent news that the bleeding has stopped!

We are going to pick up the pushchair and car seat from the shop today after work Grin I'm far too excited about it!

Stoatystoat · 04/02/2015 08:20

I've had a bit more blood this morning, had enough and rung womens health unit to bring my appointment forward to today. Shitting it.

ChatEnOeuf · 04/02/2015 08:44
