20th JSing GRADS thread - our chat's still filthy, just not in front of the baby...

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 20th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 37th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Posted too soon! I had an awful nights sleep too. Achey fanjo still here and making me waddle in the day and keeping me awake at night Sad I'm seeing my consultant today after my scan so I'll mention it to her but I'm assuming it's normal? I've ordered an exercise ball in the hope that sitting on that instead of the sofa on an evening will help!

I've also lost a pound this week and my tummy has definitely shrunk! I'm thinking water retention lost though as I've been drinking a lot more!

LaLaLaaaa · 02/02/2015 09:20

Oh dear it sounds like we all had fretful nights!

No chance of waking him - he's like a dead weight when hammered. And annoyingly goes 'shh!' In his sleep at me if I try which just makes me more angry!

Sorry you're not feeling well pis but that's amazing that you're on 2nd to last Monday, woohoo!

Fleur men are rubbish! Why is mil staying?

Lauren can you take anything for the pain?

Love drunk box , will initiate tonight!

Fleurchamp · 02/02/2015 09:31

MIL comes to stay about once and month and we stay with her once a month. She was widowed a couple of years ago and this is the pattern we have evolved into.
It's fine but she doesn't relax at our house, she's jumpy and tries too hard to please. That annoys DH and he becomes grumpy. I much prefer to stay at her house.

DulcetMoans · 02/02/2015 09:39

Oh god la, what a penis. I hope you told him so this morning. The smell is enough, let alone being awake! He needs to learn and must be punished. I advocate the box as well.

And fleur, yours just needs a little punch in the balls! I know it is annoying when you can't find your keys, and I do have hissy fits, but not tipping the bag out on the bed before 6am. Not acceptable!

Both these men should get silent treatment all day and then made to buy flowers.

We are on the car hunt pis, what did you get?!

laurenamium · 02/02/2015 09:40

I'm not sure about taking anything for the pain la? I think there's only paracetamol I could have and part of me is thinking it's hurting for a reason, it hurts a lot if I open my legs to wide or do too much walking and when I stand up and sit down, so if I took that pain away I might over do it and damage something? I'm going to ask today though!

TheBooMonster · 02/02/2015 10:01

Argh la and fleur naughty menfolk! DH is forever losing stuff in the morning and he crashes round like a whole heard of elephants turning the air blue and invariably blaming poor DD who has neither seen nor touched whatever he's lost!

Does anyone else's partner take an unnaturally long time to get dressed? DH will get out of the shower, wander round in his towel, 'sneakily' check his phone and facebook and emails, then go to the loo, then comeback somehow still wet but without a towel and then have to go and find the discarded towel and then take about 5 minutes to locate each piece of clothing he's going to wear... All whilst DD sings Dadadad more and more franticly for a cuddle >.<

Only one day left of work before my pre maternity leave holiday starts, started to panic that I was leaving far too early but worked out that it's actually 3 weeks later than last time round! And I may yet be induced...

What are people having for dinner, I feel completely uninspired :/

teejayem · 02/02/2015 10:22

9 more Monday mornings for me - and 54 working days left until my pre mat leave holiday. Work finally agreed to taking all my holiday pre ML after I threatened to take all of this years and next years together (10 weeks!) at the end of Mat leave :D

Sorry about menfolk being knobs. The little punch in balls really made me laugh dulcet. I can't complain about Mr Tee too much, aside from him falling asleep at 9pm when I actually wanted a bit of a dirty spoon.

We're having Chicken and Leek Pie with Mash and some version of vegetable never baked beans boo Basically I've resigned myself to the fact that all foodstuffs give me indigestion so there's no point in denying myself pastry.

Pisghetti · 02/02/2015 10:27

Lauren that sounds exactly like SPD to me? Is the pain at the front (kind of at or just below the 'hairline')? That's where I get the worst of my pain (plus it radiates from there through the fanjo to my sit bones and sometimes through my groin to the inside of my thighs). I found a support belt helped a lot if you wear it quite tight. I have this attractive little number. Physio wasn't a great help - mostly advice which you can find online. Things like having a plastic bag on your car seat to allow you to swivel out without having to separate your legs, sit down to put on your pants/trousers so you aren't standing on one leg etc Trying not to aggravate it, wearing the belt (although tbh I haven't needed it for a little while) and spending more time on the ball than the sofa in the evenings has helped a lot.

I got a Laguna Dulcet. It isn't what I started out looking for but once we started narrowing our searches it seemed like you get a lot more for your money second hand as they don't hold their value too well (I plan to run it into the ground like my last car so resale value not an issue). I wanted the smaller engine as it is more economical (mpg and tax) which was hard to find. Got a 2008 model with 45,000 miles which I'm pretty happy with. Tonnes of cabin and boot space too which will be important as DS is getting bigger (same height as me but with unfeasibly long legs so far) and we'll be traipsing back and fore between the houses with baby stuff too. Plus I have Isofix now so the car seat can be fitted.

Boo DP is pretty efficient at getting up for work and getting out quickly but he's a dreadful faffer for everything else! He decides it is time to go (at which point DS and I have to make sure we're ready to go or he starts getting the arse) and then he'll decide to do all manner of odd jobs which means DS and I are there with our coats on and bags packed ready while he's watering the bloody plants or some such thing.

Roast dinner tonight - didn't get around to making it yesterday as we had a big lunch instead. Need to work the cooking times around antenatal class.

Stoatystoat · 02/02/2015 11:23

Sorry fleur I posted on Saturday but it disappeared. Anyway, the rule of the JS threads is no apologising. All whinges welcome, its not a pissing contest. Flowers.

I'm feeling a bit more positive today, there's been a lot of sensations this weekend that I think felt stretchy.

Starting to worry about Thursday on two counts. Whether there's anything there and whether it will be ultrasound or dildocam. I don't think I can handle dildocam. I'll be 6+4.

laurenamium · 02/02/2015 11:26

Ah thanks pis! I'll look up online for tips and start using the swivel bag idea! Can't wait for the ball to arrive!

We are having cheesey carbonara pasta for dinner. Not a vegetable in sight Blush but we will be having veg with tea and already had lots of fruit etc at snack times

willywallace · 02/02/2015 11:33

I'm not sure stoat but I think dildo cam will seem a lot worse in your head than the reality of it.

I would love a new car but we just can't afford it. Both of ours are really too small for two car seats plus buggy and luggage.

willywallace · 02/02/2015 11:35

Aargh posted and lost it. Essentially said I don't think the reality of dildo cam would be as bad as the thought of it Stoat and then moaned about my car being too small Grin .

willywallace · 02/02/2015 11:36

Why won't it let me post? Is it just me who can't see them?

LaLaLaaaa · 02/02/2015 11:57

It's just you wil Grin I can see them!

Pis hooray for new car! We bought a corsa 2 years ago after our faithful 1996 Toyota packed in 2 weeks before our wedding. I love it but it's been through a lot with me visiting lots of horse yards with terrible drives and scratchy bushes . Got someone coming to fix scratches /dents this week.

Stoat that sounds positive! I'm afraid it may well be dildo cam but it's really not bad, the thought of it is worse than reality! Fx for you

Salmon grilled with vegetables and mash tonight!

Pisghetti · 02/02/2015 11:57

I can see your posts Wil!

LaLaLaaaa · 02/02/2015 11:58

21 Mondays left!

Pisghetti · 02/02/2015 11:58

Mind you MN is being a bit weird today. Maybe they need to do something techy (turn-it-off-and-on-again).

Purplecircle · 02/02/2015 12:01

We've got our early scan on Sunday. I'm nervous that there will be something wrong and excited to see the bean too. If they can't see on external scan then it's dildocam which I'm not looking forward to. I had one before when my PCOS was diagnosed and it was ok, a bit uncomfortable as she pushed against my cervix though.

Mum was worried that dildocam would bring on a miscarriage, bless her. I had to explain not much worse than a penis!

Purplecircle · 02/02/2015 12:02

Where is my post?

Fleurchamp · 02/02/2015 12:24

I have counted that I have 15 Mondays left after today - taking into account bank holidays and the days annual leave I have booked off.

Sounds doable, after my boss' behaviour last week I am not talking to her unless completely necessary. I cannot wait to be out of here.

KatoPotato · 02/02/2015 13:03

11 Mondays to go!

Have you guys seen this site yet?

www.yourduedate.com/

Just wasted a good half hour on it!

DulcetMoans · 02/02/2015 13:04

My MiL implied that my dildo cam cause miscarriage the first time purple, must be some weird rumour. Its no different to having sex while pregnant - hole, same depth!

It will be dildo cam for you at that stage probably stoat but they are normally very respectful and actually no one sees anything. Theres a lot o lube in my experience though, be warned!

Thats not a lot of Mondays at all fleur and la. I want to count mine but have a shit storm brewing at work that I am here to distract myself from when I shouldn't be... Maybe this afternoon.

KatoPotato · 02/02/2015 13:08

And this one is even betrter for working out work!

www.timeanddate.com/date/workdays.html

Stoatystoat · 02/02/2015 13:13

It's not the embarrassment aspect of dildocam that bothers me, I'm not fussed about who sees everything. I can't even use tampons such is my aversion to that kind of thing. I'm having counselling for all my issues related to this, but the bleeding had kind of distracted my attention from that. I've yet to find a sympathetic health care professional either. It's a big part of why I left it this long to TTC but figured out I just had to feel the fear and do it anyway, dealing with it when I crossed that bridge! I know I sound pathetic.

KatoPotato · 02/02/2015 13:42

Dildocam is very slim, I had one when my coil went AWOL. Slimmer than a super tampon!
