We were getting perilously close to being full up, hope no one minds!

daholster, did you not like Satchel then? :)
What is it about Sacha that you like?

FreedomHuntress · 30/11/2014 21:47

Daholster. What about Zachary? It's very like Jack that you like (Zack/Zach) and has the acha from Sacha, with S not being a far sound from Z. Hm, I think I win! :)

I also offer you:
Saxon
Sebastian

Urgh, such a restless nights sleep worrying about the scan. Then we have a funeral this afternoon. 1 hr 20 mins to go ....

AnniaFausta · 01/12/2014 07:23

Good luck with the scan, OneDay, and I hope the rest of your day goes as smoothly as it can.

Much better night's sleep last night, thank goodness - did have to get up for the bathroom about half an hour before the alarm went off, but I can live with that.

I'm not actually in my maternity clothes yet... for various reasons involving weight loss and not liking clothes shopping much, all my trousers and tops have a bit of give in them anyway, so I'm just gradually filling them out at the moment. I think I'll probably want a trouser-expander kit at some point, but for now I seem to be getting away with it ;)

smogsville · 01/12/2014 07:54

Londonlivvy - we're telling DD that when she goes into her new room she can have her dolls house in there (baby's room is really too tiny to fit it in) as a bribe. When we first mentioned moving her into bigger room she flew into a rage...

kismac · 01/12/2014 08:03

Hope the pain settles daholster. Is it maybe stretching pains?

Good luck for your scan today OneDay. Mine is tomorrow, I really don't want to go. I feel really scared which I know is stupid but I was too sick at the 12 week scan to be bothered and now I feel I've had too much time to think about this one.

Felt first proper kick last night which was amazing. DH had his hand on my belly and baby gave him a big kick. He he.

smogsville · 01/12/2014 08:35

OneDay, that's a day and a half. Hope scan goes well and funeral as well as these things possibly can.

Siarie · 01/12/2014 09:06

See you in two weeks ladies! Hopefully I'll be able to catch up on the resort wifi but we will see.

RiverRocks · 01/12/2014 10:25

Hope the scan goes well today OneDay.

Have a lovely holiday Siarie, don't forget your sexy flight socks Xmas Grin

kismac, I also had my first proper kick on Saturday; wasn't sure whether to be proud of him or not!

I have been well into my maternity clothes for about 6 weeks now, but I am quite prominent. The most comfortable has been some work trousers I bought from George, but I'm still wearing pre-pregnancy leggings/jeggings just tucked underneath which is working well at the moment.

Lauren that bump is so cute!
friend at work told me I look quite round today, going to take it as a compliment that i no longer just loko fat. Although my nan said i look big from behind and i'm going to be massive. wow she has a way with words that woman.

Drunk people can either be annoying or funny when sober. i'm used to it anyway but I left the wedding on Friday early (about 7pm) and picked DH up at 10pm absolutely hammered and penniless! i think i'm going to ban him from drinking if i can't drink either lol.

Have a good babymoon siarie !!

daholster · 01/12/2014 11:20

squatting a little girl! So exciting! Congratulations!

No sleep from 12 midnight til 3am with poorly dd. then broken sleep with her on the sofa again... Could do with a nap, glad today isn't a work day! No tummy ache yet today. Hopefully it was a one off from carrying the vac up and being sore the rest of the day or something.

Have a great holiday siarie!

Good luck today oneday.

BananaToast · 01/12/2014 11:24

Happy holidays Siarie, have a lovely time.

Great news on your scan Squatting! Very jealous I still have to wait until next Friday for mine Envy

Hiding I would definitely take round to be a good thing!

The gender theories are going full swing over here - I've had a couple of people tell me they're sure it's a boy in the last day or two because I still look the same from behind. I barely look different from the side/front so I should hope I don't look fat from behind just yet! I had a look at some of the old wives tales online (think it was a Pinterest picture) and according to that I am still 50:50 girl/boy! Can't wait to find out.

20+0 (half way - woop!)

Hidingthefear · 01/12/2014 12:27

i'm defo backing the gender theory that if you conceive on ovulation day it's a boy lol. maybe next time i'll try a few days before and test the theory for a girl haha

banana i told a girl at work it was a boy and she said, I knew it was because i'm carrying just like her. really wish i'd have told her it was a girl to see what she said :D

BananaToast · 01/12/2014 12:42

I'm not sure when I ovulated as my dates didn't match up at my 12 week scan, but I think going by either my original dates or my scan dates we DTD at least 1 day before ovulation. Not sure if that helps much with guessing according to the theory!

kismac · 01/12/2014 12:59

My mum says she's think I'm having a boy cause Im all boobs. Ha ha.

FreedomHuntress · 01/12/2014 13:01

According to the Chinese Gender Predictor, I am having a girl.
www.babycenter.com/chinese-gender-predictor

They were right with DS too!

I think it's all bolleaux though! Xmas Smile

BananaToast · 01/12/2014 13:19

Well going by either dates the Chinese Gender Predictor reckons girl! Only time will tell...

I was convinced at the start it was a boy, 100%. Then I saw the 12 week scan and think the nub looks girly, so I'm sticking with 50:50 until I find out for sure. DH has thought girl from the start.

smogsville · 01/12/2014 13:38

The carrying thing is bollocks people said DD was a boy because she was all at the front. Nope!

FreedomHuntress · 01/12/2014 13:43

And 95% of people said DS was going to be a girl (we didn't find out til he popped out). Several were adamant it was clear as day that I was carrying a girl. The way my belly was, my lack of symptoms/cravings, etc.

EbwyIsUpTheDuff · 01/12/2014 14:25

I knew my youngest was a boy because I saw his bits on the ultrasound.

All the less reliable methods said girl.

catsofa Definitely go for moving pregnant rather than with a baby, Our move out of the student house was bliss, I mostly made tea and supervised the menfolk moving things, our move from PiL to our own place was hell, there was three times as much stuff as babies accumulate things and I had to keep a baby amused >.<

Keep getting a sharp pain that turns into a cramp pain in the lower half of my bump, I'm wondering if this is branston hicks? My body doesn't have the normal responses to sensations that others have...

My xmas shopping is pretty much done now victory dance Just need to convince DH to buy me [[http://www.preciouslittleone.com/product-information/31/31535/pink-lining-bramley-tote-changing-bag-(woodland)/?gclid=CLvfyIr2oMICFanItAodFysAqw#cusrevs this]] but he's being resistant because we only bought my Yummy Mummy dragon fly bag 2 years ago, but this can convert into a haaaaandbag and we're saving loads of money by not having to buy boys things now we know we're having another girl... I'm not sure I'm going to get anywhere... I also bought my own body weight in glass baubles (yes, I am insane and a glutton for punishment) for the tree this weekend whilst at work, I'm thinking that I'll need to buy a play pen to put the tree in before we decorate it though else my stupidly delicate decorations will end up in the toy box...

I bought the most comfortable cardigan ever from JoJo Maman Bebe on Friday, it's navy with hidden buttons by the neck so you can wrap in in pregnancy and use it to nurse afterwards, it also looks a bit more robust than the striped grey one I got from there about a month ago which has lost it's buttons and one of the loops that the waist cord goes through :/

I'm trying to get DH to agree on a name so we can start telling family before they wade in too much with their own suggestions. So far we have Felicity, Isabella, Evelyn and Imogen. He loves Felicity but I'm not so convinced, I suggested all the others, MiL really likes Isabella but I think she was a bit surprised by how traditional victorian they all were, and we need to find some other names for the middle names because to use any of those names together would perhaps be excessive...

kismac · 01/12/2014 16:23

Oh I love Isabella. I've got that on my list too.
