We were getting perilously close to being full up, hope no one minds!

I'm probably moving with a tiny baby at some point next year, we haven't decided where we want to move yet. But I figure if you buy in help (AKA get people to box your stuff up and move it) then it doesn't matter if I'm pregnant or holding a baby. Last time we moved I didn't have to do anything until the boxes arrived in their correct rooms.

Not having a good day today, had a headache and feel a bit sicky. DH has actually had the same and been sick so maybe it's a bug :/

Last party I went to was a tad boring, but mostly I missed the taste of alcoholic drinks. Drunk people can be annoying (but tipsy people are ok), imo anyway.

Catsofa men always deserve the brunt of our moods Wink they should know by now not to poke a sleeping bear.

Felt a bit mean before my mum came round for a brew and brought cake with her but it's too close to tea time for us to eat it. She still had some but I didn't have any tea bags either. (DH took them all to work as I don't drink it I never know if were out or not)

Hello! Just marking my spot! Difficult day, dh has flu so not able to do anything (it is proper flu) and I was up til 1 again downstairs with an inconsolable dd, she wouldn't even settle at all in our bad. Don't know if it's bad dreams. She seems to be getting a cold too. And I was just exhausted. She slept for 2.5 hrs this afternoon and me 1.5 hrs and now we are at nan and grandad's, phew... Shame the house is a hovel and I really wanted to be doing Christmas stuff Sad

Hi all, braved the west end today to buy some mat clothes. Isn't it infuriating to have to do battle with the crowds just to get suitable attire for the next few months! Bought some Leigh jeans from topshop and then basically the entire range of tops at h&m because I was so desperate to get out of there. DH can return them to his local one near work if some are no good. It's hard to know what to buy when there isn't a proper bump to try them on with just a bit of a fat tummy!

Notwithstanding all that moaning I did get to spend a lovely day with my sis (and dare I say it without DD who went off to a birthday party with DH) including a stonking bowl of ramen at tonkotsu. Still full now!

I've just changed both DDs and our bed. Wished I hadn't think I've pulled something in my bump at the front when I twist it twinges and now I'm knackered. DH was the one who said you do the beds while I bath DD, so I start but apparently I'm not fast enough and then when I'm sat in the middle of the bed with just the quilt to go I say I shouldn't of done that and he says why did you then?

Don't get men at all. Still had to help him with the quilt cover. He couldn't find the opening then he sticks his head in it, gets stuck and couldn't shake it down. I swear I live with an idiot!Confused

Hello all, I've been christmas shopping in Manchester and it was very, very busy, I've just had an hours snooze and now pizza in the oven. DH is out tonight so I'm going to watch rubbish on tv and then might have an early night.

mswibble · 29/11/2014 22:31

Evening everyone! Wow, cant believe we are on our 6th thread!

wine I cant believe you braved Manchester on a Saturday! I went on Friday after, took half day AL and I couldnt bear it. Stormed out of Selfridges in a rage because it was just too much! Still managed a bratwurst at the markets though!

I heard bambino's heart beat last week at my midwife appt. Lovely midwife told me they dont offer to listen as a rule but said to hop up on the bed and she'd give it a go! Grin. She thinks I may have an anterior placenta as I didnt feel any movements when we could hear bambino raving about. 20 week scan is next Thurs and I am SOOOO excited!!

We got our changing table too - a really fab Mamas & Papas, complete with lovely wicker baskets for a rather bargainous £10. Thank you Gumtree! We're painting bambino's room tomorrow so we're slowly out of the starting blocks!

EbwyIsUpTheDuff · 29/11/2014 22:54

we've ordered a pram! cosatto giggle 2 :)

FizzyBubbly · 30/11/2014 07:13

Oooh mswibble we're scan buddies then! What times yours? Ours isn't til 3:30, tis gonna be a looooong day Hmm

Have a great Sunday everyone!

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 30/11/2014 08:24

Ha banana my DHs nemesis is a double duvet cover! For a really intelligent guy he is incapable of changing a bed!! He informs me that according to his book I should be in a much better mood ...

Sorry to all those feeling poorly. Really is the pits when you can't take anything.

What a bargain msw that sounds lovely. We won a nursing chair and stool on eBay last night. Saw it in kiddicare for £160 and won it for £50 so pleased with that.

Scan in 24 hrs!

Lindalove · 30/11/2014 08:42

Hi all. Wow another thread!

Been recovering from a horrid cold, am in the last few bunged- up days now. Today I will mainly be popping to Homebase to get some finishing touches to our new bathroom.

Found out that after company/ income tax I should have enough in my limited company (that I ran last year while freelance) to pay myself a wage while off on mat leave - as employer doesn't pay more that stat. Am really pleased as it means I won't be totally without my 'own' funds.

I celebrated by buying some Bamboozle Stretchie night time nappies for a newborn in the NappyLady's Black Friday sale! :) Ah the glamour.

Lauren82000 · 30/11/2014 09:23

Mmm bacon and runny egg butty. Wonder if I can get DH to make me one? I really want one, don't think I can last till 11 when we go to MILs for bacon toasties.

BrixtonBunny · 30/11/2014 09:29

Lauren that's my breakfast plan too Wink

Poorly husband in bed. Poorly dd screaming on settee Sad Tired sleepy me...

No Christmas dec prep for me. Feels like a wasted weekend Sad

Lauren82000 · 30/11/2014 10:05

Oh dear Daholster, I really need to supervise DH getting our Christmas boxes from the back of our loft room. We've just dumped stuff up there all year and now the Christmas stuff is right at the back despite me putting it all at the front last time I was up there tidying. Think we need to make two piles so I can walk down the middle, would make getting to everything easier. Plus the baby stuff is knocking around at the back somewhere.

Just one of those jobs that no one wants to do! Confused Least we have a proper staircase to our loft and not a rickety ladder.

While sitting here with dd I have been trying to think of boy names... I love Sacha. But we are English. This is DH's (seemingly at the moment) only complaint with it. Honestly, what do you guys think?

Seems like lots of people have scans next week - exciting!Grin

We're going to pop into John Lewis today to look at prams - I'm 95 per cent sure we should get an uppababy vista, but want to go "try it out" with DP to see what he prefers.

Agggghhh DH woke me up at 1am coming in from his night out then preceded to chat to me then my brother rang at 8am begging me to look after my nephew as him and my SIL think they have food poisoning and my Mum + Dad are on holiday. My nephew is 8 so is easy to look after but I still wasn't happy about being woke up Grin
Although he has just asked can he wash the drive with the power washer, oh yes I start child labour early in my house Wink

I bought some maternity clothes in Primark yesterday, a top for a works do in January and some nighties as pyjamas are not comfy now. There jeans looked nice but didn't have any in my size. I Bought 2 gro bags in TK Maxx for baby.

The bacon toasties have home out the window. DD was moaning her tummy hurt next min DH was covered in vomit. (Glad it wasn't me I'd just got out of the shower!) so she is now cuddled up on the couch with me feeling sorry for herself. That means any plans we had today have gone out the window too. Oh well will try and get into the loft one night this week. Could always convince my mum she should take DD on Friday night and we can get it all out then. Ready for an afternoon of decorating on Saturday.

Lauren82000 · 30/11/2014 11:47

Ahh autocorrect. I meant gone!

daholster · 30/11/2014 12:28

Oh no! Vomit is the worst! It's the waiting for the next one that gets me... Hope she feels better soon Lauren!
