Just Shagging - Thread 11 for Graduated Viroids!

JuniDD · 17/08/2014 06:27

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

I prefer winter over summer too, would rather be wrapped up and cosy than hot and sweaty ooer :)

cookielove · 20/08/2014 18:08

I love winter!

Christmas with a baby, yay!!

I'm staying in tonight with the baby, just me and him. He pulled the feeding tube out and the nurses haven't put it back in! So he has had bottles today, I feel like I am just getting further and further away from the end goal of breastfeeding!

FurryScoob · 20/08/2014 18:09

Yay, another girl on the thread & love the name zyla

I live winter too minion I live on the edge of a hill so go sledging if we get enough snow, might not look such a prat if I've got a kid with me in a few years!

Great news on the scan tabby

Thanks for the pad advise lady's, looks like my dinning room's gonna become a nappy & pad store room!

RPopz · 20/08/2014 18:54

Can't believe you're only just nearing 12 week scan Zyla! - seems like you've been here forever Wink Hooray for a pink one too Grin xx

wilmabedrock · 20/08/2014 19:12

So what happens with the ectopic situation tabby?

Tesco maternity pads are basic but fine and long. My memory is crap but I think I remember bleeding for quite a while. Didn't have to double up but changed every few hours at the start.

I'm not sure there is anything you can take for diarrhoea zyla, just drink lots of juice. If it lasts longer than about 3 days, contact doctor. Glad your results were good and how exciting to have another little girl on the thread.

Can't remember what anyone else has said. But I don't like winter, hate being cold. I've just had to put my heating on and it's frigging August.

ZylaB · 20/08/2014 19:12

I know rpopz feels that way for me too!

ZylaB · 20/08/2014 19:13

Thanks wil :)

wilmabedrock · 20/08/2014 19:14

Oh cookie, I forgot to say what good news! If he can have bottles is there a reason why they won't let him try bf?

Don't suppose anyone has heard from Red?

cookielove · 20/08/2014 19:34

wil we are trying to get him on the boob, but he literally will suck for 5-10 times and then quit. So I was topping him up via the tube. But my supply still isn't quite there. Which is frustrating and so we ended up giving him bottles today!

cookielove · 20/08/2014 19:36

Yes to red where is she, does anyone know how far along she would be now?

wilmabedrock · 20/08/2014 19:43

Ah I see cookie, fx he picks it up soon.

wilmabedrock · 20/08/2014 19:44

I think she was just after me. Was definitely in the same thread as me anyway, so maybe 17ish weeks.

RPopz · 20/08/2014 19:50

Red was doing a blog wasn't she? Don't know if anyone saved a link to it. I had a flick through a while ago!

Can you use a pump to kick start your flow Cookie? I guess you already are doing to bottle feed wee man. Great news he'll be home on Monday Smile

I've got DH's man flu Sad And a massive bump growth spurt! Oof!

TabbyTurmoil · 20/08/2014 20:29

wil the sonographer today could only see one ovulation and definitely no ectopic, so who knows what that was about - I prefer her version of events to the other doctor's so am sticking with it.

TabbyTurmoil · 20/08/2014 20:37

Sorry - blooming phone. popz poor you, get well soon!

cookie I don't think I have congratulated you on your boy, sounds like he's doing great!

wilmabedrock · 20/08/2014 20:48

Oh I see Tabby, fantastic news then!

I managed to find Red's blog and there is an update at 11 weeks where all is well. Think she should be 14/15 weeks now going by her dates so hopefully she's just been too busy to write more. I so might take up stalking, seems easier than I would have thought.

Feel better soon popz, it's grim being ill and pregnant. Thanks

RPopz · 20/08/2014 21:13

Thanks viroids Smile Hopefully a good night's sleep will sort me out as I have a nightshift to do tomorrow!!Confused

So pleased all looks well Tabby Smile. xx

zenry · 20/08/2014 21:24

So today I managed to get the car seat steriliser play mat to sit me up cosy and swaddle wrap all sorted for baby girl. Three pay days to go and then shit gets real. Hoping she is not early like DS2 was

Nessalina · 20/08/2014 22:45

You talkative lot! Grin

Zyla - A girl! Hurrah! Who else is expecting pink? (Sorry, I keep losing track Grin) One of my best pals is a Hannah - great name! And it's palindromic! Grin
it sounds like the diabetes situation is a bit crazy though! Shock Hope the docs can recommend a happy medium between you hypo-ing out and baby being happy...

Tabby - glad all is good, must've been a bit scary for you!! Shock

Min - sucks when real life hits, I reckon it's going to be tough for me to take the full year, but we're gonna hold off deciding and see how the savings last... Re: DIY, a word of warning, DH spent 8hrs with his dad today putting up SIX shelves. Yes. Just six! Still five more to go! Shock They do look good though Smile Ikea shelves are super complicated apparently!

Cookie - so glad Elijah is coming on so well! Adorable photo on FB Grin

Wil - good work on finding Red's blog (I started scrolling back on Js threads and got bored Confused)! Can you post a link? Glad she was good at 11 weeks at least! Exciting that there's two more JSers to join us soon! Grin

Good tips on the pads all, thanks. I need to stock up! Grin

ZylaB · 21/08/2014 06:22

Thanks ness Grin

wilmabedrock · 21/08/2014 06:32

Not sure how to make it into a link on the app but this is the address if you copy and paste: whynotusblog.wordpress.com/

I've been having horrible dreams for the last 2 nights and it's made me feel really crappy. Sad Shit, must get up.

Nessalina · 21/08/2014 07:11

Thanks for that Smile

I second the weird dreams - mine were epic last night! Like something out of a Michael Bay movie, all gunfights and explosions!

Minion · 21/08/2014 07:18

Not sure what we are expecting as little monkey had the cord wrapped through their legs. But if dreams are anything to go by it currently stands at girl-3 1-boy.
I really want to know, but trying to get this house done is not helping with the money sitch. So can't really afford one. Surprise it is then. Didn't think I'd like the surprised angle, but as it is, I'm just getting to know the baby as it is, without gender and falling in love with it just as it is.
Does that make any sense?
Like I now know it's little schedule, it wakes up with me, kicks and wiggles for an hour or so. Settles down till about 11:30, then it wakes back up. Goes off again till about 3, then comes alive at 7 and back to sleep when I do.
Though in the last week or so it wiggles a bit more during the night. Nothing too bad yet though.
Hopefully it'll stay that way when born...yeah right!

laurenamium · 21/08/2014 09:40

Elijah is beautiful cookie Grin

Congratulations on a pink one Zyla! Hannah is a lovely name Smile
