Congratulations on all the lovely new babies, think we have 9 in total now and one on the way tomorrow!

Hopefully will have a baby update in the next day or so! Been having contractions since about 6pm yesterday, theyre only just starting to get sore but theyre still coming which is a good sign, usually they stop way before now.. Lost way more show this morning too. Going up to the hospital to get checked over this afternoon at some point to see if labour is starting, if not il get a second sweep. So either way im hoping baby will shift soon!! Must of been all the walking yesterday that did it!

Will try update this evening when im back from the hospital :)

I didnt go down the slide, dont think bump would have fitted through the climb up!
Following the party went to see phatfish in concert (christian rock band) I was only 5 rows from the front and I came out totally positive and stopped feeling sorry for myself! Thought the vibrations and all that jumping might do something but no it had the opposite effect! Had a fantastic nights sleep :)

No twinges at all today which came as a great relief, I didnt realise how much my constantly on off contractions had worn me down. Went to be checked yesterday with mw after having the shooting pain things again. My bp fine and babys hb. She wants me to see gp about it but tbh i am convinced it was linked to the contractions and im not going to be monitored unless less movements or bleeding etc

Must sort out the final few things to go in the garage today. All the ironing is finished now... Need to check hospital bag and get a cool bag for drinks etc. Also have to fit the car seat in my car and clear out the stuff in the bedroom and the nursery. I think The Denial has been very good for allowing me to rest but terrible for helping me to get organised! Must do better.

Still pregnant here McQueasy but 38 weeks, hoping baby stays in a bit longer as still do not have finished kitchen or bathroom and builders in every day this week.

Have reached the uncomfortable stage now, how is everyone else getting on?

39 + 2 and back ache killing me! Want to do lots of fun things with my son in half term but it's sooooo hard! I'm finding it sooo frustrating.

Congratulations to all the new babies. Very Jealous. Still pregnant here too. She is lying on the right and is back to back. I have been on my birthing ball and lying on my left at night time but she still hasn't moved. A little concerned to be honest as I was told that my labour will be longer and more painful due to her position.

Hello all!! Well, I have shamefully neglected the bus on here but I thought I would come up and announce the birth of Alfie Jay!

He was born on 11/02/12 at 10.49am weighing 6lb 14oz :) and he is gorgeous and the spitting image of me :o Had a difficult time of it and I am currently writing and editing my birth story just to get it all down, wasn't a great experience, but one I would do again in a heartbeat.

Now I am going to spend my due date tomorrow having lots of lovely snuggles. He is currently upstairs with his Daddy and Sister having storytime for bed

Welcome back Innocent and congratulations, sorry you didn't have an easy time, but it is so worth it isn't it! Enjoy being a new mummy :)

mumsrthebest have a look at the http://spinningbabies.com/ spinning babies website they may have some tips. If she is engaged you may have to do an inversion first then try the hanging over birth ball/back of chair/crawling on all fours stuff.
