Oh yeah... 40+2 weds... so just the wee hours of 40+3

My first sweep wasn't too bad (but didn't work), second was with a different mw who was rather more erm... Persuasive!

Didn't go into labour within 48 hours so I'm not entirely sure it worked either, but I didn't need the induction that was booked for me :-)

Well my wee man arrived by emcs at 19.06 on thursday. We got home yesterday, and he's just gorgeous. Had induction due to high BP, had AROM and 3 hours of full on contractions every 1min 50 secs, followed by 4 hours of second stage following which my BP went up and I just ran out of steam. Was offered forceps, but his head was still high, so I refused and requested cs instead. And he's fine and I feel not too bad at all, so it was the right decision for us. Hope everyone else is keeping well and that there's a littlest monkey bix here soon x

I had my first baby on 19th Feb - Baby girl - labour was super quick and managed to stick to birth plan and just have gas and air.

LOVING finally having baby here! (although still getting used to BF and not getting more than 3 hours sleep!)

after 3days labour... g&a, diamorphine x 2, slow progress, Epidural (after much persuasion) being told i was "coupling" on day 2, failed forceps and an emcs... Thomas FINALLY arrived on March 16th @5:35am weighing 8lb3oz
