Yay babies! congrats rnb and demon Grin

Mw today... bp fine everything fine measured a little big as usual... head now fixed at rim Grin quite enjoyed hearing that. not bad for 1st day of leave!

However that's all been ruined just now by the reappearance of FUCKING MICE

I am currently livid...

hermionejgranger · 09/02/2012 07:37

Hello and welcome to George! Lovely baby news from lots of people too.
Still itching over here and waiting for Bert to come out. Very much doubt i will be early though so at least a week still to go!

Waiting for news from at least 3 others on bus and maybe 4...

Emz33 · 09/02/2012 11:54

A week today til my DD. really really hope I don't go (too) late.

Is so exciting hearing about all the babies! Grin

phlossie · 09/02/2012 17:35

Is it a death slide, QueenFee? That sounds like an excellent idea. I was thinking trampoline might be a plan... only I'd probably just piss myself x

ZhenThereWereTwo · 09/02/2012 18:17

Welcome George :)

Mice no good monkeybix, I will never forget sitting up in middle of the night in our old flat watching mouse squeeze under bedroom door and run around the edge of the room. Turns out they were living in the old washing machine that didn't work, but the landlord was refusing to let us get rid of. Needless to say we got rid of it the next day!

QueenFee how about donutting (sitting in rubber ring sliding down dry ski slope), did that at 5 months pregnant and it didn't half bounce you up and down!

indicababy · 09/02/2012 22:35

Congratulations Devon and welcome George

Mcqueasy I was seriously thinking of unpacking my hospital bag and taking all the baby clothes and chucking them back in binbags in the cupboard and maybe taking down the cot as I'm sure that would start things off.
Keep trying not to fixate on the edd too much as it's strating to drive me bonkers.

39+1

McQueasy · 09/02/2012 22:37

I know the feeling!!
I have resigned myself to being overdue and induced. Have stopped telling people my edd cause I can't stand the home induction advice stories Grin

hermionejgranger · 10/02/2012 07:38

I'm going to repack my hospital bag today i think. i have been putting extra bits in it and think that it now has all sorts of unnecessary stuff in it. And i need to sort out my i pod music too. And the ironing pile is getting to the unmanageable stage so i ought to tackle that as well. No chance of labour today i think!

babycarmen · 10/02/2012 08:06

Think il put all my baby stuff away too seen as she clearly doesn't want to come out cries

40+4 arrrrrrrrrrrgh

mamasmissionimpossible · 10/02/2012 08:12

I'm nearly there with dc3. 38 weeks today, I'm getting rather fed up though and want baby out NOW! Congratulations to those who have had their babies.

notcitrus · 10/02/2012 18:06

So much for a week away from hospital - baby Rosa born Wed 8 at 9.40pm (38+3) after me thinking my spd was getting even worse around 11pm, then realising it was regular every 15 minutes...

Totally ditched all the calm bits of labour - stinking cold stopping breathing didnt help - and got parents over to take A, got epidural as soon as got to hosp, and had another ventouse delivery to work round the spd. Luckily, postnatal care this time was excellent!!!

Got released late last night and A has just met his sister - looked quite chuffed but even more pleased with the car she 'brought' him!

top tip - on a pn ward esp if immobile, soak one end of a towel in water and hang over bed rail for cooling off in the night.

Congratulations/best wishes to the rest of you!

babycarmen · 10/02/2012 18:11

After spending a few hours in obstetric assessment yesterday evening, I've had a day of reassuring partying from Junior so feeling a lot happier than I did 24 hours ago!

AND I've not needed to take my anti sickness medication for a couple of days! Grin

Congrats NC and what a pretty name.

I am currently experiencing indescribable pain in my fanjo due to a certain little man trying out his heading skills. Agony doesn't come into it! Have been sent to bed by DH and DD2 just come in when I screamed to see if i was ok.

Baby's have gone quiet with their arrivals - need someone else to bring us back up to speed. Glad the girls are arriving now though

ZhenThereWereTwo · 10/02/2012 22:53

Congratulations NC, love the name Rosa Thanks

Bum in ribs and heartburn today, oh the joys of the last few weeks!

Still have workmen in my flat grrr, hopefully they might finish by next Friday could do without trying to bfeed newborn with builders all over my house.

zhen... we know where the mice are coming from... but as we're still living in a building site we're gonna get the odd one Stinky at the mo. it just pisses me off that i relax and forget... then find evidence again! Argh!
Anyway... That mouse is now dead....

exciting news folks (for me anyway)

Our bedroom will be finished tmw!!!! Shock

Carpet fitters were in today after a week of painting pnd wallpapering by DP and my mum and dad. bed built tonight and blinds up too... just need to transfer mattress through and i can have a NORMAL BED!!!

I'll miss the futon.. but not at 8fecking months pg... DP has not got a clue! Actually he has a tiny clue... he mentioned the radiator was loose... i confessed it was me attempting to get up one morning i pulled it off the wall a bit!!! He didn't kill me therefore he's understood i am massively preggo!!

So... who's gonna pop next?! whoop whoop BABIES XXX

littlemonkeybix · 11/02/2012 06:07
