Morning all, i have the funeral of my close friends Mum today. She is the Gran of Wilfs best friend. She killed herself two weeks ago. I havent told Wilf anything that he doesnt need to know. Jack (W's friend) had his 15th birthday yesterday, He is autistic as well and has been very brave and decided to go to the service. My Mum and Ali are going to come with me!!

Join the club Lavandes.

I know what today's trigger is, tiredness and feeling a little unwell (the start of a cold I think - it's bloody June fgs!)

There has been lots of talk between friends about their dc starting school in Sept. I enjoy the conversations to a point, but then it dawns on me (yet again) that C should have been starting school then too. It's just so bloody unfair isn't it?

shabbapinkfrog · 19/06/2010 08:09

Oh...not too bad thanks Shelley xxx

shelleylou · 19/06/2010 11:22

good good. Hows the count down to Falarki looking?

shabbapinkfrog · 19/06/2010 11:24

59 sleeps and counting.

We have paid for the flights and accommodation BUT have very little spending money - after the initial panic we have decided to max out credit cards and beg, borrow or steal the rest - how very mature of us

We only live once AND eventually we will pay it all back

shelleylou · 19/06/2010 11:41

not long now then. Im jealous lol. Is there anything lurking round the house that can be ebayed or car boot or something to help a little?
I get a week in great yarmouth but that works out cheap just the travel and 2 nights in a hotel where only have to pay for DH and myself. Rest of the week we're staying with family.

shabbapinkfrog · 19/06/2010 12:06

Have been ebaying for the last week

So far have raised enough for a good night out and kebabs on the way home - OMG I am a classy bird!!

shelleylou · 19/06/2010 12:18

If its my idea of a good night out when i was in corfu then you've got a fair bit sorted. We spent alot quite a bit on nights out but majority were 11/12 hours lol. Hope you get plenty more sorted
