my dh went fishing last night and at 11:30pm I had a knock on the door from the police .... My dh has been found dead on a footpath at the lake They think it was a massive heart attack, a stroke or a blood clot but will do a PM tomorrow, I don't know what to do, I have my family here with me but it is easier to talk on here How do I tell my dc's? WHAT do I tell my dc's - they are only 2.9 and 10 months Will they understand, what are they going to do without their daddy? How will I get through the days without my dh? I know we argued etc but I really, really, loved him and now he is gone Help please

I'm so sorry to hear this. I have posted on some of your threads before..
Please contact your family - I know you've said perviously that you are not that close, but I'm sure they will want to help you with through this.

Your children have a lovely mum and they will be okay - you need to grieve and care for yourself too.

Please keep coming on here and let us know if there is any help we could offer.

I am so sorry, I hope YG sees this thread as she will hve a far closer idea than most of us what you are feeling.

there are no magic words, if there were I would give you them. But so very sorry to hear of your loss, and you and your children are in my thoughts. Remember that having the children means you still have a part of your beloved dh.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss.

What an awful shock for you all. If there is anything we can do for you, please do ask.

The exact same thing happened to a neighbour on New Years Eve. DH went off fishing and had a heart attack, leaving 4 children behind, completely out of the blue.

I will say a prayer for you and your family.
