Hope....for the bereaved parent; even at Christmas, one of the most painful times of the year, there is an essence of hope. Hope....it is hope that sustains us through the days of grief and anger and frustration and loneliness.

The hope that someday the pain of the deaths of our children will be eased. The hope that someday our smiles will be real.

So, it is that for each of you I would hope....peace, compassion, love, sympathy, understanding, sharing and listening. In the sharing of our grief with one another, and in the emotional support we give to one another, we receive and understand all of these gifts.

Remembering my precious sons....and all of your precious children at this difficult time of year.

Whereabouts are you accident?

Whatevertheweather · 04/02/2012 19:42

I am so EnvyEnvyEnvy of you all with snow stupid south coast living.

Hope you've had a good birthday Karma

10 days Dee so close now.

Cheese my lovely I hope you and Ella are both doing well this evening. You did it you did it Smile

Stupid sickness continues here had to cancel seeing a dear friend for dinner this evening. I swore after Erin though I would never ever moan about any pregnancy related niggles if I were ever lucky enough to fall again and I am sticking by that and taking it as a positive sign that there are just lots of hormones flying around.

Just a kind of 'sign off' from this thread. I am handing the baton to my lovely friend Everlong. Even though we have never met in RL I appreciate her friendship and affection.

Thinking about my lovely boys - Gareth & Matthew...many years have gone by but you are, and always will be, missed by all of us. We are grateful for the time we had with you - for the kissses and cuddles.

Thank you xxxx

Lovely lovely Aled Jones has just mentioned The Snowdrop Walks. I emailed him to say that Jack has snowdrops planted on his grave and that today it will be a mixture of snow and snowdrops. He read my message out. He often reads my messages about Jack and Wilf. When Ivan Cameron died, Shabs and I were involved in a piece which Rev Ruth Scott( a wonderful lady) did for Good Morning Sunday.
