Here we go!

I am trying to crochet my fairy but struggling with the arms at the moment. Meri, I have finished my meme, and tagged a few more people, including dizzyday and lucykate

Well the dds and I sat down this afternoon and made cards, but I'll have to post them tomorrow because they are big! I am going to finish the crocheted fairy for my friend's dd (hopefully) but it might take me a while! Not heard from her today, really worried about her

Whizzz, that new stuff you've done has a bit of a vintage feel to it.
I really love the Tutti Frutti set too.
Its fab.
Just so you know I havent pisted your swap pressie yet as I need something to go with it first.

Trying to pack dd's stuff for her ski trip on Saturday.
Should be able to get bits done when they go though.
It will be bliss.
No dogs, No Dh, no dd, lots of nap times for the boys and lots of craft and sleep for me

hmmm. . . . i'm not getting any crafts done lately as i seem to be fixated on buying stuff constantly - i think i'm addicted to eBay and mumsnet - seriously.

dp spends half his time tutting at me being online but it's okay for him to watch s*@t tv for hours

Dior where did you get seed beads so cheaply !

I have told DS to make sure I do some housework tomorrow as I have been off a week & the house looks like a TIP! ...however I have some lovely gemstones to play with...peridot, amethyst, citrine, moonstone.....

and Dior I know whatyou mean about having too much jewellery. I just did a count at whats in front of me on the PC desk....2 genmstone bracelets, 1 lariat, another bracelet and a lovely lampwork pendant. next to the desk is a table with.....rainbow flourite necklace & bracelet, my chain maille necklace & bracelet, lime freshwater pearl necklace and my chain maille WOW necklace

In case this was missed at the end of the thread number 2, I'll repeat myself.

I've saved down all the pictures of our Easter swaps and have added an entry to OUR blog so that they can all be seen.

The pics are saved on the Yahoo group that Whizz set up YONKS ago I don't know if everybody has access. If not I'll put them on photobucket.

If I knew how to put them all together into 1 photo then I'd add that to the entry too - but my IT skills aren't that great!!

Well ladies i haven't done much crafty stuff today either - choose to take the youngest 2 into the local woods for some much needed outdoor time instead.

On a cheerier note I have managed to finish knitting my clown shelf sitter and it WILL BE MADE UP AND STUFFED TOMORROW. That's the plan anyway, lol.

Dior had a sneaky peek at some of your jewellery and it is lovely.

oh and the good news is dd had her latest eye test and the patching has worked!!!, so we don't need to do it anymore, her weak eye is working much better now and is almost as effective as her right one, so she's been discharged by the hospital, so now we go to a normal optician.

the bad news is ds is still squinting slightly and has to go back, he may need to start wearing his glasses again, which he hates!

just so I don't lose the thread (hmm almost a knitting pun in there). Showed DH my 'make' yesterday. He said he was 'seriously impressed' that really made my day. He then me to bed as I was really not well. Then put kids to bed too. I love my DDDDDH very much.

Miaou- i will have a look at your answers in a bit once DH and DS have gone to work/pre-school for the day... then at 10:30 I have an appointment for a manicure and pedicure my mother's day treat... a bit of pampering that i will probably ditch within the hour.

and i am going to go show off my jewellery to a framing/gallery in the town centre! DH mentioned I made jewellery to her and she asked about it and wants to see it when i pooped in to drop off a framing order for DH..

RANTING - EMAIL ME ADDY AGAIN PLEASE!!!!!!!!

DD is still poorly, she seemed better yesterday but no she's back to being very sad and feeling sorry for herself. I have almost made 2 dolls - one for JG's littlest one and one for a local MNer. Just need to sew on the legs. Which I'll do now I think...

ok ladies I have jsut posted a small give away on my blog some earrings and a small painting.. if it goes well I may do another one when I hit 200 blog posts... I'm at 180 now. only thing is the picture of the painting is a bit rubbish as the light is so crap.

Have left a comment!! First time I've ever done that I am such a technophone it's untrue. Trying to pluck up the courage to set up our old VCR in our bedroom seeing as its sitting in the spare room doing nothing and we have loads of videos that we may as well be able to watch!! But like I said technophobe.

chrissnow- thank you for the lovely comments... Niamh is a bracelet, I want to do a necklace similar though, but with going away in a bit over a week I wont get a chance to order more beads till we get back the day before my birthday.. yippie I get jetlap for my birthday!

meri - oops . If you ever get around to doing a niamh necklace and it happens to be turqoise with a few sprinklings of brown (I know sounds gross, but a colour combo I'm addicted to) let me know. Consider it sold!!

OK - Question to the knitting ladies. Is there a good on-line store you can recommend for yarns etc? I Don't wanna get ripped off.
