Here we go!

I am trying to crochet my fairy but struggling with the arms at the moment. Meri, I have finished my meme, and tagged a few more people, including dizzyday and lucykate

jeangenie i just dry ink my tags - nothing fancy!

Miaou · 02/05/2008 14:56

OOoooh, that embroidery group ...

I have just joined and added ds2's grobag - I have done lots more (and better) embroidery but none of it is either photographed or at this house! Must get into flickr groups a bit more I think.

Congrats on all the interest in the mushroom, LK! am only joking re the swap you know; whilst there is so much interest in it now might be a good time for a "mushroom swap" - it's such a good way to make new friends and "get out there", isn't it?

I've done my toadstool!

Here

chrissnow · 02/05/2008 15:35

For some reason I can never comment on your blog
Love it!! Really does seem to be quick. I'll def have a go tonight methinks.

Nbg · 02/05/2008 15:36

Oh I don't know chrissnow.

I dont think you can block people

chrissnow · 02/05/2008 15:54

I'll let you off then. It's more likely just because I am techno crappy and don't know my blog id(saved it to my favourites so I can find it myself ) can't remember my email half the time

OK so totally off the craft subject and moving over to techno . . . Last night DH came home from work, positively bouncing down the path all beaming (I thought he was pissed for a minute ) Anyway he comes in the kitchen kisses the girls as usual. Instructs me to close my eyes (I am cooking thai chicken at the time so a little sceptical but compliant) He places a little box in my hands (not jewellery little) OOh choccies thinks I... opens my eyes and there nestling happily in my palm is an i-pod. All for me. See my job is sooooooo $hite, I need music to work to. My (his) MP3 doesn't quite hold enough songs and doesn't attach to my clothing meaning I have to wear my work fleece for the top pocket. So I boil, but don't die of boredom . . . I've been looking at i-pods on e-bay and in mags etc. He obviously spotted it and went out and just got it for me. God I nearly burst into tears. He is just so lovely. I want to marry him again.

Sorry soppy story done now..... What can I do to repay the gift do you think? Please don't say make something - you've all seen my work!!! It would take me 3 years and end up being an insult!!!!

Nbg · 02/05/2008 16:18

I don't think I could type how he should be thanked.

Miaou · 02/05/2008 16:24

aw what a lovely story chrissnow!!! tbh i think the look on your face was probably thanks enough (but am sniggering at nbg's suggestion )

Oh that thought has crossed my mind but you know it's not like it's a special treat or anything, given that I still fancy him and stuff so that would be more a bonus prize.

IDEA Who was it made the nipples? kidding.

Nbg · 02/05/2008 16:32

"Here you are darling, I thought you would like these knitted boobs"

Its like that old post office ad, "I saw these and thought of you"

Tillyboo · 02/05/2008 16:34

Nipples would be good, a great big pair of knitted boobs for him to use as a de-stresser whilst watching the tele ?

I can think of a few male friends who'd appreciate a pair or even just the one

chrissnow · 02/05/2008 16:37

I could start a brand 'Knitty Titty' .
Big, fluffy, knitted boobies to squeeze, stroke or just lay your weary head on . . . .

Tillyboo · 02/05/2008 16:45

I think that is a 'QUALITY' idea and i reckon you'd have quite a few takers, especially as joke male b'day, fathers day etc. presents. The name is fab too !

Go on, knit a few and Etsy them .. see what happens

lucykate · 02/05/2008 16:47

hey chrissnow, we all know what men really want if they deserve a treat

chrissnow · 02/05/2008 16:49

Erm. . . . I can only
