I don't know what's going on but this is the third post I've tried. If this fails I'm going to give up.

Anyway, I can't seem to find the old thread for some reason, my laptop is doing funny things so maybe it's at my end?

Anyway, I cannot see what you all have achieved so far this week but here is my blog with what I have done or you can have a peep in my profile but the pictures are quite diddy

Whizzz, they look so complicated, they really are lovely. I would happily pay £10 for one in a shop, but I know how tight people are at craft/school fairs (after this weekend's experience - someone actually said £2 was a lot of money for a small fabric brooch thing Cheeky beggars!) so I would maybe say £5, but don't think that it would be a fair price at all (does that make sense!?)
Howling, that's a lovely corsage - well done!!!
I need to send a pink and lilac horse to RH tomorrow (been poorly with a headache all day today, think a day's work has knocked it out of me, lol!) - with an extra something for DD (don't worry - it's not a leftover lavender mouse )
Also need to get my mojo back and get listing on etsy (but camera is knackered so that aint gonna happen) and make 2 green and pink horses and start a llama.
I might make a few linen corsages so I have plenty for the next fair in a month as they don't take long.

lucykate · 15/10/2007 16:13

lucykate pops in having found both mojo and glasses, sporting a rather fetching new bracelet that arrived this morning, been much admired on the school run, thanks whizzz

Because it's been rubbish weather this morning I've managed to finish the two birds I started.
They are here on my blog.

I'm having a nice cuppa and chocolate biscuit (God they are good) before starting on my next project. It was going to be an Angel but I'm trying to muster some enthusiasm as I haven't really a clue where to start.
I'm trying to think of something a little different ...

There has been lots going on in 'Crafty Towers' so well done to everyone !

GreebosWhiskers · 17/10/2007 10:57

I've left a comment on your blog jeangenie - the tea cosy is fab

So far I've managed;

3 halloween bags (pumpkin, skull & eyeball with an optic nerve handle & part of a black cat)

3 hairbands - 2 in noro kureyon & 1 in twilleys freedom spirit (I now have orders from dd1, dd2 & dd3 for one each in different colours)

I've had a very basic attempt at crocheting wire too which wasn't on the list but I bought the wire & just had to have a go

jeangenie · 17/10/2007 11:11

thanks GW - I thought it was you
the loops weren't too difficult, involved lots of swapping yarn from back to front and using thumbs - quite enjoyable really
will find time to look at all of your blags later (supposed to be working at the mo') - I think I can get to them through your comments

jeangenie · 17/10/2007 11:11

blogs, not blags

lucykate · 17/10/2007 11:25

we need a list somewhere, a mumsnet blog roll call (even cod has a blog you know , i've seen it)

i've just updated mine and also added a pic of whizzz's bracelet juts to make you all jealous here

GingermonkeySucksBlood · 17/10/2007 11:39

I've put some pics on my blog of my christmas fair table (not the actual table, because I forgot the camera , but my mock up at home!)
Whizzz's bracelet looks fab (no surprises there tho!)
Actually, whizzz, I need to ask you about making something for my mum for chrimbo, if you get a chance.

GreebosWhiskers · 17/10/2007 12:25

GM - I just showed dd3 a pic of your emu & she says she'd like a green one for xmas. Any chance you could email me on [email protected]?

GingermonkeySucksBlood · 17/10/2007 13:12

I most certainly can! (and have done!) Thank you very much
