To think that some folk take this far too seriously

There are some posters who seem to feel they are operating in a War Zone. In a War Zone where only they are allowed guns. They can say what they like but as soon as somebody bites back it "Hey Ho, Hey Ho its off to Mumsnet HQ I go".

99% of what gets posted is just light relief not the end of civilisation as we know it.

sorry?

Pinkjenny · 10/11/2009 15:36

Yes, quite.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 10/11/2009 15:36

Have I missed something else while I've been rinsing out knickers?

Cliques · 10/11/2009 15:38

I'm not a troll, I'm just a mother who only has access to a washing machine once a week, I don't make a habit of washing knickers by hand but today is an exception. AND I'm none the wiser regarding the OP

StealthPolarBear · 10/11/2009 15:43

my post wasn''t a dig, just found your post funny
assume dittany's was aimed at OP, unless there's something i don't know?

I don't know dittany TBH. I was just covering all bases [wishing there was a confused emoticon]

GrimmaTheNome · 10/11/2009 15:46

She's a house-elf. Us small mythical creatures need to stick up for each other.

So long as we aren't goat-eaters.

GrimmaTheNome · 10/11/2009 15:47

[have we proved we don't take it all too seriously yet?]

I don't think there's enough reporting. I shall be reporting all threads everyday from now on.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 10/11/2009 15:47

I think you will find it's KreAcher.

Iamapolytoo · 10/11/2009 15:48

OK - post a message about over enthusiastic troll hunters and see how long it is before they get your account pulled?

Thanks Pfft, it was my dd who came up with the name of the mental who lives upstairs. I asked her to spell it for me

Sorry Dittany but I think you are wrong unless there is some "catch all" rule I haven't seen. There are folks who openly have more than one account, sometimes announcing it, but I don't think that is an automatic banning offence

OP posts:
Chickenshavenolips · 10/11/2009 15:57

Yet, OP, you are the one taking this all seriously enough to start a thread about it.

Iamapolytoo · 10/11/2009 15:57

Good example of a War Zone from RB. Your bad language and personal attacks are not against the rules but any query about troll hunters is? Yeh, right.
