To think that some folk take this far too seriously

There are some posters who seem to feel they are operating in a War Zone. In a War Zone where only they are allowed guns. They can say what they like but as soon as somebody bites back it "Hey Ho, Hey Ho its off to Mumsnet HQ I go".

99% of what gets posted is just light relief not the end of civilisation as we know it.

Such lovely names....

Really hope this person hasn't a child... This is too wierd.

Defluffmyfanjo · 10/11/2009 16:43

Didnt see raisedin, i do remember one about a box room but i never really understood because it wasn't funny or particularly creepy so i couldnt understand why someone would troll about it.

Actually as im signed off with spd at mo i could do with some more of Extended's amusing threads, non bereavement of course, to keep me occupied.

BitOfFun · 10/11/2009 16:45

If you ask him/her nicely, they might link that fabulous blog they used to do...

I am currently in my gun room looking for a silencer.

I went to dins with my inlaws
They didn't seem to see my flaws
I thought I'd better screw their Chris
But they just gave me groceries.

Hully, you really do have quite a gift

BitOfFun · 10/11/2009 16:52

And "loneparent" moaning about troll-spotters...funny that

Hullygully · 10/11/2009 16:54

I miss my wife she is no more
My bed is lonely as the floor
I can't go on - an empty cup
I'll have to dig my sister up

MorrisZapp · 10/11/2009 16:56

It was his dogs having sex, he took a pic on his phone and sent it. Then wanted them to run away and start a seal sanctuary prompting the best comment I've ever seen in my life:

'I don't get it. Seals just look after themselves don't they?'

Anyhoo I think she was genuine but having a crazy time. She has since posted about how hurt she was that we laughed.

But it was funny. The dog and seal parts were only half of it. And weren't they on some local dressing up committee or something?

AnyFucker · 10/11/2009 16:57

tsc, that lady you refer is still posting around the board

about how difficult she is finding it to "move on" (whilst still living with her unfortunate dh)

whispers veryconfusedandupset

search her, there is recent form

I think she was genuine actually, genuinely kerr-ray-zee

I feel a bit mean now

Ninks · 10/11/2009 16:57

Was Extended or Poly the poster who played Pink Floyd to the sheep?

That's sounds like I'm the bonkers one but readers of that thread will remember it. I hope, er - anyone?

BitOfFun · 10/11/2009 16:57

I think the sealion one was actually just a bit unaware of how odd she was coming across as.

AnyFucker · 10/11/2009 16:58

oh good, X-posted with morris

we are both mean

BitOfFun · 10/11/2009 16:59

Somebody pin a medal on hullygully

AnyFucker · 10/11/2009 16:59

< ties hands behind back to prevent onseself linking to a certain posters recent contributions >

MorrisZapp · 10/11/2009 17:03

To be fair, you know who is at least charming, articulate and interesting.

And er, barking mad. In a nice way.

Tidey · 10/11/2009 17:05

Ahhh, Extended, yes, the one who fell asleep each night on the floor of a shed with the sound of a bull being shot ringing in her ears.

I really hope that wasn't genuine cos I laughed my arse off at that thread.
