There are some posters who seem to feel they are operating in a War Zone. In a War Zone where only they are allowed guns. They can say what they like but as soon as somebody bites back it "Hey Ho, Hey Ho its off to Mumsnet HQ I go".

99% of what gets posted is just light relief not the end of civilisation as we know it.

I'm a newish mner and have been reading through this because I was accused of being a troll in one of my first few posts. Am I allowed to make a few serious comments please? ok then I'll take that as a yes
I don't use text speak because it says not to in the guidelines and I don't use it when I'm texting
I was brought up to thank people so when I received useful advise I thanked them. What's wrong with that?
I tried to give as much background info as possible so posters could see the context of my post.
I like English and try to use a wide vocabulary If people don't like it, tough, I'm not going to dumb down
I had to look up troll and found it quite upsetting to be accused when I'd just plucked up the courage to admit somthing I'd been hiding for years.
So before your clique goes pointing fingers all over just take a minute to think.
