You/he/she is a narcissist.

You don't sound very nice/pleasant.

I'm self diagnosed with ADHD/Autism.

She/he must have ADHD/Autism.

You need to make your partner do X. (Because that is how adult relationships work).

Op: I need a new dress.
Mn: here is a shapeless sack the colour of sludge that costs almost £200.

I hate Boden.

I fancy Greg Davies.

...

What have I missed?

The 'r'.

ToadRage · 20/07/2026 08:41

No one could possibly fancy Greg Davies, he looks like a fat Rik Mayall.

EmailsaysOOO · 20/07/2026 08:42

Name changed as this is very outing

UrbanSoul · 20/07/2026 08:42

Could it be dementia?

ToyStory75 · 20/07/2026 08:40

share the right move link.

(and then everyone says, price to high/ too cluttered/ too small)

‘It’s always the price’

Highlighta · 20/07/2026 08:44

Shaking

Can never just be just a bit upset. Have to be shaking and fuming.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 20/07/2026 08:44

Vile/ grim

“I won’t name the hobby as it’s outing” (it never is)

”if the sexes were reversed, everyone would say…” (inserts something they would never say)

Do you even like your MIL?

Xanhi · 20/07/2026 08:46

Report it to HR.
Report it to the school.
Report it to the police.
Report it.

emuloc · 20/07/2026 08:49

Picky bits 😒

Rainbows246 · 20/07/2026 08:50

Could they be neurodivergent?

Usually to excuse some male shit behaviour

Cherchez la femme

First post nails it

LTB

Lawyer up/ shit hot lawyer

Shaking/ terrified any over exaggerated comment like this.

WonderWeeksArentReal · 20/07/2026 08:52

Limerance

elliesmummy19 · 20/07/2026 08:53

DH, DD, DS, Dsis, DSS. And not forgetting the absolute worst- DDog.

Why not just type the full word? Takes maybe like one second more 😁

emuloc · 20/07/2026 08:49

Picky bits 😒

My husband has started using the phrase “picky bits” and I’m considering “getting my ducks in a row” and “LTB” 😁

BarbarianBabs · 20/07/2026 08:37

“And what was his reply when you told him <<insert sentence that the poster fully knows OP didn’t tell her husband/partner>>

I hate this one. It’s so patronising. What did your verbally abusive, threatening neighbour say when you talked to them about it?

Just say “I think you should talk to them first, before talking further action”

ToddlersAreBananas · 20/07/2026 08:55

'aibu to wear this dress at a wedding I'm attending? posts pic of a white dress with a tiny pattern of pink flowers on the hem '

It’s not just about typing speed but that it’s easier to read -keep the posts shorter and easier to skip through.
I like the acronyms

Illberidingshotgun · 20/07/2026 09:00

You do you.

TheSoapyFrog · 20/07/2026 09:02

"He's just not that into you".

"First post nails it", which is only marginally better than "THIS".

Limerance

Tbf I'd never heard of limerance before I read it on here. In full disclosure, I think I've had it in the past eg lying in bed thinking aboit them and making up stories. BUT! I always knew it wasn't real and was me being foolish so does that actually count?

When someone tells you who they are believe them.

What is the point of him.

Wishimaywishimight · 20/07/2026 09:04

Unmumsnetty hugs.

😂😂😂

I’ll add to this…
‘just use your travel insurance’ when it’s very obvious they don’t have any (not that I agree with travelling without insurance mind)

Wishimaywishimight · 20/07/2026 09:06

People 'screaming' at each other.

Have never in my life seen this. I always imagine some dramatic creature with a slightly raised voice.

WillTheRealDeanGaffneyPleaseStandUp · 20/07/2026 09:06

Parent your child

It doesn't seem like you actually like your OH/DS/friend etc
Generally said when someone is having a rant about something without any indication that it isn't a one iff.

No?
Stuck at the end of a statement. So pretentious and .makes me cringe.

What do we think of x?

If you don't want neighbourhood noise just move to a detached house.

Get a new job / promotion.

Retrain.
