“All the trimmings” - to find this quite vile?

I’m away with my boyfriend at the weekend. In the course of messaging about our respective days, I’ve mentioned I am starting to pack. He said ‘remember some nice lingerie with all the trimmings’. I queried what trimmings meant - he clarified stockings and suspenders.

I feel like a piece of meat!

Unless you dislike roast dinners, then I can’t see a negative connotation to it.

Not everyone, it’s personal choice of they do or not. Absolutely no-one wants to be compared to a roast dinner being served up for the other half of the relationship.

What do you mean by demeaning yourself with porn props? You mean wearing lingerie? If so, Some women like to wear lingerie and don’t feel demeaned by it. If that’s your interpretation of wearing lingerie that’s perfectly fine and of course you don’t have to wear it but not everyone feels the same. My husband reciprocates in different manners that works for us in our relationship.

I’d find this funny if I’d been with someone a while. Kind of hard to explain why! but like reading it from the perspective of new fella and first weekend away, I’d feel like same & I’d suddenly not want his meat & veg because I’d think actually thats all he wants. Not a girlfriend a shag.

The problem is there’s no male equivalent women could even conceive. If we wore suspenders everyday and they developed a fantasy around us then it’s kind of acceptable. To apply a sexual stereotype (almost 100 years old) to modern women who wouldn’t have ever worn them is icky. Ask him to enter the bedroom as a drenched Mr Darcy. It’s the same level of cosplay.

OP, I believe the standard response to men who think that you take requests is to say "Sure, but only if you satisfy a desire of mine in return. I want nothing more than to peg you. I'll bring my trimmings if I can also bring my strap-on. And I want my turn first."
