Catherine O'Hara has died

Am not usually one to post these kinds of threads but this is so sad. I've loved her since childhood and am currently in the middle of a Schitt's Creek binge to take my mind off the usual winter bugs. She was such a fantastic actress and so, so funny.

Im in so much shock! She seems far too young to go.

So sad, she was iconic.

And I loved her in SC and have been waiting for a reunion. Heartbroken. And so sad for her family and all the cast.

No that’s so sad!!! Moira Rose is one of the best characters ever and Catherine O’Hara played her to perfection.

Been planning to watch Schitt’s Creek again for a while so I definitely will be doing so now.

Very sad. I’m going to rewatch Schitt’s Creek as she absolutely made that show.

So sad. Have just finished watching SC for the first time funnily enough as only recently came across it. She was brilliant as Moira Rose and I spent most of the first season not realising she was the mum from Home Alone until it suddenly clicked! We love the home alone movies in this house too and religiously watch each year. She will be missed.

Gutted.

She turned in one of the best comedy performances of all time as Moira Rose.

Absolutely loved her as did my husband. We used to drink ‘Moira Rose’ - Tequila Rose with a shot of Hornitos Tequila in. We think Catherine would have liked it. Even my DMIL liked it.

That’s thrown me a bit. 71 is very young really. Big fans of her in this house 😔

I just saw this on the news. I loved her as Moira. It seems shocking because she's currently featuring in a ' commercial ' for Canadian food banks it must have been filmed recently and she looks great.

Best in Show is one of my top comedies. Her singing of the terrier song - classic.

Love love love her. So sad there won’t be a Schitt’s Creek reunion. 71 is not old at all. ☹️☹️
