Catherine O'Hara has died

Am not usually one to post these kinds of threads but this is so sad. I've loved her since childhood and am currently in the middle of a Schitt's Creek binge to take my mind off the usual winter bugs. She was such a fantastic actress and so, so funny.

She was the mum in home alone

I have just seen the news and came here. Such a shame.

I adore Moira.

I hope you will all indulge me here, I grew watching Catherine O’Hara on Second City and SCTV.

This is one of my favourite sketches with Catherine. Eugene is there too. It really saddens me that the top three people in this video, (if you click you will see what I mean), John Candy, Joe Flaherty, and Catherine, are now, no longer with us.

SC was one of those shows where you genuinely wanted them to be real people. Moira especially.And yes thats cos the writing was brilliant but also because the way she portrayed her.

I thought the same, so you know what I did? I googled, then realised of course I know her. Stop being that person who makes a disrespectful comment on a post about someone who has died. Is there any need?

Another who is currently rewatching schitts creek and very shocked to hear this news. She wasn't very old at all. She was a brilliant actress and so very talented.

Really sad tonight too, 71 feels like no age nowadays! She has brightened my days so many times and for that I am thankful!
