My dog walker and the builder having an affair?

Pretty much what it says in the title!

I have a dog walker that comes in and walks my dog 4 times a week, she has walked my dog for 5 years and is brilliant, a lovely woman who always goes above and beyond. She is married.

I have a pet cam at the front of my house I see what time she comes and goes each day. But I don’t really look at it and it only sees the front of the house in living room not the back rooms.

I currently have a builder here who is working on my extension and has been for a month. He’s also done other work on my property and I’ve always trusted him.

ive noticed my dog walker has been staying here longer than usual after she leaves the dog (I am at work) and I’ve noticed the builder (who is also married) bringing up the dog walker in a lot of conversations.

then today my dog walker stayed for 1.5 hours after the time of walking my dog and on my camera I can definitely hear “noises” that are possibly sex noises but its hard to tell because camera is picking up from a ropm
or two away.

what do I do? Do I bring this up with them? Do I leave it as it’s none of my business? Do I say I know and to stop using my house? Or have I just let my imagination run wild and it could be completely innocent? It’s a very awkward thing to bring up!

@ThatJadeQuail IF they're having an affair it's none of your business and if you say anything to either of them you risk losing the services of a good builder and a good dog-walker, both of whom you seem to value. The only exception I would countenance in this is if they're having sex in your home, which is totally unacceptable. However, I don't know how you could raise this with either of them when you're making assumptions about what you think you can hear from the CCTV, rather than what you can see. If I were you, unless I had clear-cut evidence of them having sex in my home, I would say nothing.

This made me laugh! It wouldn’t really bother me as long as they weren’t using the bedrooms. My friend shagged the decorator in another friends house when she was feeding the cats while they were on holiday 🤣

Also, unless you've got a UV light that shows up jizz and other bodily fluids, how would you even know if there's a mess anywhere?

Because I am not joking when I say my friend had a married builder do her extension, we caught him shagging the dog walker in her bed 😂 Worst bit was, the dog walker and the builder both had kids in our kids classes. Even nearly 5 years on, we have to look at their kids and spouses and pretend we didn’t see anything!

I doubt they have strayed into the op's bedroom or used her bed. Bathroom floor is more likely. I was being light-hearted about it, we don't know they are up to anything more than flirting.

I would say it is none of your business, except if they have used your bedroom or another room in your house it definitely is gross/inappropriate and kind of your business. Also if either of them might be conducting an affair on your paid time then that is an issue, but assume the builder is paid for the job and the dog walker is staying after her paid hours. Still not acceptable in your house though, if they actually are doing anything

Aw, I’m a doggie walker, have keys to six houses. Never been approached by a builder in any of the houses. An over friendly labradoodle slobbering all over me is the closest I got. Gutted.

Not knowing someone is untrustworthy doesn’t stop them being untrustworthy. If you pretend it isn’t happening doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

And their morality is her business - if she needs to trust them as you say. If they are people with dodgy moral compasses how can she trust them?

And having sex in someone else’s house - an employer’s none the less - is absolutely not on. Plus her builder is meant to be working not screwing the dog walker on her kitchen table! Bet he’s charging her for that time too.

Anyone can have an affair so fair enough that’s neither here nor there. And a cheeky kiss yeah but go get a room…elsewhere!

Keep them both on side. You need their services. Try to ignore the rest unless you notice shoddy services on either side. Then step up.

I don't give a fuck who consenting grown up shag to be honest but I wouldn't like anyone doing it in my bed (or worse my kids bed or my kitchen worktops etc... what room they doing it in?).
