My dog walker and the builder having an affair?

Pretty much what it says in the title!

I have a dog walker that comes in and walks my dog 4 times a week, she has walked my dog for 5 years and is brilliant, a lovely woman who always goes above and beyond. She is married.

I have a pet cam at the front of my house I see what time she comes and goes each day. But I don’t really look at it and it only sees the front of the house in living room not the back rooms.

I currently have a builder here who is working on my extension and has been for a month. He’s also done other work on my property and I’ve always trusted him.

ive noticed my dog walker has been staying here longer than usual after she leaves the dog (I am at work) and I’ve noticed the builder (who is also married) bringing up the dog walker in a lot of conversations.

then today my dog walker stayed for 1.5 hours after the time of walking my dog and on my camera I can definitely hear “noises” that are possibly sex noises but its hard to tell because camera is picking up from a ropm
or two away.

what do I do? Do I bring this up with them? Do I leave it as it’s none of my business? Do I say I know and to stop using my house? Or have I just let my imagination run wild and it could be completely innocent? It’s a very awkward thing to bring up!

Another vote for asking is the dog was unsettled because of how long she stayed yesterday. You need to let her know that you know without saying it I think.

The crux here for me is that you are paying the builder probably an hourly rate to do your work. If this is correct you are paying him to have sex on your property basically. You need to be telling him that isn't in the contract and you want a reduction

But really..an hour and a half, how many times did they do it?

Arrange to come back in the middle of the usual dog walking time. Slam the front door loudly as you come in.

I'd not be happy at them having sex in my house 🤮 other than that I'd not be getting involved. I'd just say can you explain this and play it and say what you get up to is none of my business but do not do it in my house.

I would outright ask why she is at your house for so long.

But gross. I'd be really miffed about it. I once got home to find builders (I was renting, so luckily I wasn't paying for them) watching porn on my sofa. Just vile. I'd be really upset with the dog walker if you've known her for 5 years too.

They could be just having the chats OP. I chat to my plumber for ages - we just get on. I know it’s not ideal if he’s meant to be working but are they both doing a good job? Imagine the mortification if you’d got it wrong? The dog walker relationship is the more important one long term so don’t compromise that. I’d be more inclined to have a catch up with the builder about progress and timelines so that he knows you are keeping an eye on that.

No way would I be having them shag in my house. How sure are you though? You don't want to send irate messages only to find she helped him shift the washing machine.

I'd go with messaging "I was surprised you stayed for so long on Friday?". Then see what she says to that and slide the petcam into conversation.

It's a bit disrespectful if they're having sex in your house. I'd ask her if the dogs OK as you noticed she's been staying for longer when she drops them back
