My dog walker and the builder having an affair?

Pretty much what it says in the title!

I have a dog walker that comes in and walks my dog 4 times a week, she has walked my dog for 5 years and is brilliant, a lovely woman who always goes above and beyond. She is married.

I have a pet cam at the front of my house I see what time she comes and goes each day. But I don’t really look at it and it only sees the front of the house in living room not the back rooms.

I currently have a builder here who is working on my extension and has been for a month. He’s also done other work on my property and I’ve always trusted him.

ive noticed my dog walker has been staying here longer than usual after she leaves the dog (I am at work) and I’ve noticed the builder (who is also married) bringing up the dog walker in a lot of conversations.

then today my dog walker stayed for 1.5 hours after the time of walking my dog and on my camera I can definitely hear “noises” that are possibly sex noises but its hard to tell because camera is picking up from a ropm
or two away.

what do I do? Do I bring this up with them? Do I leave it as it’s none of my business? Do I say I know and to stop using my house? Or have I just let my imagination run wild and it could be completely innocent? It’s a very awkward thing to bring up!

I would say absolutely nothing.

You are lucky to have a long time trusted dog walker and builder. Leave them to whatever they want to do. And absolutely don’t mention cameras or anything like that.

They are both doing good work for you. That’s the bottom line from your perspective. Your dog isn’t suffering (quite the opposite) and your builder will do up your house. You will win and you must put everything else out of your mind IMO.

Of course it's OP's business if they are using her house for their sex sessions, It's a disgrace and totally not on.

Good dog walkers and builders are like rocking horse shit. Just carry on and leave them to it.

I agree it’s OP’s business as it’s in her house - but the pros of a good dog walker and good builder far far outweigh this con.

I can't get over people saying to ignore it. We have a dog walking business and if a customer contacted us to say a walker was having sex in their house and could provide evidence they would be sacked. It's fucking vile and utterly disrespectful I'd be livid if it was my home this was happening in too.

I heard you singing the other day, can’t believe the door camera could hear from the front to the back of the house.

This is a good way to remind them you have cameras without accusing them of anything untoward. Otherwise I would stop monitoring the cameras so closely. I wouldn't want them carrying on in my house or on my dollar though.

I know that a lot of MNers like to let everyone know how laidback they are about anything sex-related, but really? Turning a blind eye to your dog walker and builder potentially shagging in your home because good dog walkers are hard to find? 😂
