AIBu to think "Traitors" is horrible?

I do not live in the UK, have no access to BBC media but my mum seems to be quite caught up in it. Apparently it's the grand final tonight.

I've watched the trailer on youtube but it just seems horrible. The information I've got from my mum is a bit garbled but wasn't there a woman vicar on it?

I don't want to sound like, "Outraged of Tumbridge Wells" but...

My mum was yakking on on about lying in a coffin, talking dolls, tarot cards...

I thought it was more like Taskmaster.

It all seems a bit rum to me. It's like, "Eyes Wide Shut" meets "Squid Game."

It's basically a slightly camp, extended parlour game. I don't like reality TV as a rule but I love it. The people on it seem, for the most part, nice as well.

Its a game, its vaguely amusing to watch. No one gets hurt. What's horrible about it?

YABU it's on its third series now it's very popular and Claudia is brilliant

It's bloody brilliant. Not sure why everyone seems to have an issue with a vicar being on it, it's a game. Vicars are humans who like games. Most of the ones I know are 'up for a laugh' as it were.

This is the first time I've watched it. It's actually quite innocent, gentle TV. They all know it's about lying.

No violence and only good natured swearing.

Not even remotely horrible. I found the tasks a bit boring this year.

I know it's an extended parlour game and a bit of a scare at bedtime but:

1.) I'm not paying to watch it from France especially as I'll have to watch the complete progression from start to finish.
2.) I did Ouija boards as a kid and all that kind of stuff freaks me out to this day.

If you are scared by The Traitors, you are a bit of a wet lettuce.

It's tediously drawn out. The amount of content vs length of the show is very low.

I think it's incredibly boring trashy TV, gave up on it after about 30 minutes, but nothing to clutch your pearls about.

Can’t wait to see what Claudia will be wearing for the final. I’m not in the UK so will have to wait until tomorrow to watch it.
