AIBU to feel completely distressed by the viral video of the aftermath of onlyfans worker Lily P 'sleeping with' 100 men?

MumOfOneAllAlone · 11/12/2024 09:48

I've tried to word this carefully.

Lily, an onlyfans star, aged 20something I'm guessing, slept with 100 men in one go, as part of a documentary.

Following this, she's on camera crying. She says her eyes hurt as some of the men ejaculated in them, despite her saying no.

My heart is broken for this girl. Im a feminist but I've never thought of sex work as being empowering?

Surely, the empowerment of sex work has failed this poor girl? And surely the 100 men who agreed to do this are criminals???

I'm so angry. You could see in the video that Lily is realising what a mistake this was and is very traumatised.

Anyway, didn't see a thread on this so thought I'd post. My heart goes out to her, and my brain feels very angry at those who failed to protect her.

Is this the girl who has been talking to all the media about how this is empowering? The one who specifically wanted to sleep with teenage boys and also to get some fame from it?

Wishitsnows · 11/12/2024 10:20

The men are disgusting. It is also disturbing how many men are willing to do this. The case in France showed just how many men were happy to partake in rape.
This also shows that when these men even have the consent for sex they feel the need to then carry out a further act that they are clear had not been consented and wanted to cross that line anyway.

InfoSecInTheCity · 11/12/2024 10:20

This just compounds in my mind my view that sex is not and should not ever be for public consumption and earning money. It's a personal act, it doesn't have to be about love and monogamy if there is consensus between both parties, but it shouldn't be a promotional activity to build a brand or gain notoriety

I can't imagine that a year, 5 years, 10 years from now she will feel good about this but it will forever be attached to her history. Anyone who knows her or of her will be able to watch it online forever.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 11/12/2024 10:20

She lost my sympathy when she said “It’s not for weak girls”. Please, the girls and women who don’t do this are NOT weak.

HerSisterWasAWitch · 11/12/2024 10:21

There’s a link to an article about it on this thread. Judging by the backlash she’s received it sounds like she is regretting it.
I can’t even begin to imagine how emotionally damaged/vulnerable she must be to have even thought this up. The men who took part in this are just vile.

I watched the clip and it was upsetting to see her traumatised reaction.

I’m forty and when I was a young woman twenty years ago, I felt pressured to do all kinds of sex acts I didn’t want to do, because I thought I’d be seen as a prude or whatever if I didn’t. This is because I was brainwashed and groomed as I was growing up. Lads mags, page 3, etc etc. I am not blaming my boyfriend at the time as he didn’t force me to do these things. But I don’t want to do them.

It’s taken my decades to unpack all this and to actually start figuring what I do enjoy in sex. I genuinely just didn’t know, I just did what I thought I was meant to.

I can’t imagine what it is like for young women now with the prevalence of horrendous violent “porn” which is often actual rape being filmed. I feel so scared, angry and sad for them.

I’m afraid I will never blame a woman for her part in situations like this. The men involved are disgusting. Vile creatures. Wanting to treat a woman, a human being, that way. What the fuck.

@whathappensnowplease you're right, the sort of men who would want to take part in this sort of stunt aren't going to be good guys. Those men seem to be readily available though, while the women willing to do these things are still few and far between.

You're first response was to look squarely at the woman though. This isn't a criticism of you personally, if you look through previous threads about this woman or other similar stunts you see a massive focus on her and no real discussion about the men.

There was 1 woman in this situation and 100 men who continued to engage in sex with a woman who was visibly distressed. I know someone will be along soon to say NAMALT but there needs to be more discussion about the men in these situations. What has happened to all of these men that they don't want or need ENTHUSIASTIC consent to engage in any sort of sexual activity?

I agree with you, what is wrong with our society that these men, feel happy to engage in this behaviour.

Ablondiebutagoody · 11/12/2024 10:23

I'm not bothered by it. Haven't watched it but I presume that the reaction is intended to garner views just like the act itself. And the previous stuff with virgin boys.

I bet she will do something similar again soon, maybe even more men this time.

She's already planning 1000 men so can't be too traumatised. I saw a video where she'd broken the record for the number of sexual scenes in a porn movie in one day. She was so proud. That's all she's about - making money and breaking records.

Uokhunnnn · 11/12/2024 10:23

Agree this woman is committing a form of self-harm. She’s now saying she’ll shag 1000 men in 24 hours, which will surely irreparably harm her, physically as well as mentally. I watched the documentary and she was surprised when the interviewer told her you could catch STIs from oral sex - her naivety was almost childlike. I really question her parents’ role in enabling this behaviour.

LadyKenya · 11/12/2024 10:24

Is anybody looking out for this woman's mental health? She is obviously suffering from some type of mh issue, imo.

MermaidEyes · 11/12/2024 10:24

Also some posters are confusing her with Bonnie Blue, who likes students and teenagers.

Nc92982822 · 11/12/2024 10:24

I have met Lily and she is nice and like anyone else in person. The video made me feel sad for her.

I do agree with you about the men who participate in these events.

I think the their behaviour is abhorrent.

And I know that a lot of men use prostitutes in the full knowledge that the woman is a forced to participate in prostitution and will go ahead and use these women even when they are visibly distressed.

But I've seen a few news items generated by women who do these sex stunts. And the women deliberately set out to recruit young men as young as is legal, or undergraduates . Or in one case touts for the fathers and uncles of these men to also participate. And the tone of these news items is actually taunting and scathing about women who are the relatives of the men they are targeting.

Of course I do not know if these women who do these stunts are co erced in any way. They may have mental health issues. But I'm afraid I admit I find it very hard to generate sympathy for these women. But that doesn't mean to say I don't find the behaviour of the men who participate loathsome.

YouveGotAFastCar · 11/12/2024 10:28

She's already announced that she intends to try 1000 men in 24 hours next, hasn't she?

I mean, she looks broken in that video, the person "looking after" her and her business seems an absolute prick, and I'm stunned she wants to go anywhere near it again...

But I presume that she's chasing the big OnlyFans money, and then intends to get out, hopefully get therapy and attempt to move on, like many of the originals/famous porn stars have. She'll hopefully have considered that she'll never entirely leave this behind, it'll always be in the background, but I suspect a lot of young women write that off as a concern because of people like Kim Kardashian.

I think that's a different one, called Bonnie

I'm afraid the more I see of the internet and social media and what it has done to the human race, the more I wish it hadn't been invented

Right, do you remember when it was going to build a global village and we'd reach some kind of connected eutopia in which all the ills of the world would be fixed?

insomniacalways · 11/12/2024 10:30

I hate that Only Fans is specifically marketed as some "empowering" service and is constantly shown in local papers as some kind of amazing opportunity e.g I now make £1000s a month and quit my terrible job. The average amounts made are actually a pittance. There are now agencies specifically recruiting young women from Instagram and other social media to Only Fans and taking fees. To keep engagement agencies or their "supporters" pressure women to do more and more acts - often going beyond the boundaries they themselves have set and this is a key example . More and more research coming out about the traumatising affects of this form of sex work .

Capercaille · 11/12/2024 10:30

Her mother must be so proud.

Seriously though, the only thing I am concerned with is her mental state.

n3f5 · 11/12/2024 10:31

Makes me wonder if the crying etc afterwards is also a stunt

MJconfessions · 11/12/2024 10:31

I haven’t seen the video but I saw a short preview clip. She needs professional help. Her life choices are wild. I don’t think she’s acting in sound mind. Her family are doing her a disservice by not being more involved. She needs intervention - her management team are taking advantage of her.

I wonder whether she has an addiction or disorder behind her bizarre behaviour. She says she is competitive and wants to be better than other sex workers, so she obviously sees her self worth in:

  • being seen as attractive
  • having men queuing up to fuck
  • making them all finish
  • doing sexual acts others won’t do
  • being controversial and pushing limits
  • being popular online as a result

If she isn’t seen as those things, she gets upset. In the video I saw, she was upset because men didn’t finish. She mentions it felt like prostitution. She says men ejaculated in her eyes (possibly contributing to the tears due to physical irritation) then advertises she’s going to do it again with 1000 men. Her thought process is irrational.

SquaredShoulders · 11/12/2024 10:32

Everyone who participated in the original ‘viral content’ was awful. But if the new ‘viral video’ is part of her ‘content’, then it’s also part of her grift, I imagine?

MJconfessions · 11/12/2024 10:33

Also I wonder how much finances are impacting her decision. I wouldn’t be surprised if she has made 6 figures from this and stepped up her lifestyle but now can’t maintain her standard of living.

2025istheyear · 11/12/2024 10:35

Think of all the trafficked sex workers and sex slaves through forced arranged marriages around the world forced to do this everyday. The world is a grim place for some.

username299 · 11/12/2024 10:37

I haven't seen the documentary but I saw a clip online. She appears to have freely chosen this and her next project is 1,000 men.

I think her mum does her accounts. She says she finds what she does empowering so it's up to her.
