AIBU to feel completely distressed by the viral video of the aftermath of onlyfans worker Lily P 'sleeping with' 100 men?

MumOfOneAllAlone · 11/12/2024 09:48

I've tried to word this carefully.

Lily, an onlyfans star, aged 20something I'm guessing, slept with 100 men in one go, as part of a documentary.

Following this, she's on camera crying. She says her eyes hurt as some of the men ejaculated in them, despite her saying no.

My heart is broken for this girl. Im a feminist but I've never thought of sex work as being empowering?

Surely, the empowerment of sex work has failed this poor girl? And surely the 100 men who agreed to do this are criminals???

I'm so angry. You could see in the video that Lily is realising what a mistake this was and is very traumatised.

Anyway, didn't see a thread on this so thought I'd post. My heart goes out to her, and my brain feels very angry at those who failed to protect her.

@NonPlayerCharacter I would have to disagree with you that you say that the only person they're hurting is themselves.

It's a tricky one because we all have free will and rightly so.

However Lily, Bonnie Blue and others like them are not only hurting themselves.

They are hurting other women. A lot of the men Lily had sex with will have had partners. She is risking spreading STIs to other unsuspecting men and women.

She is grooming other young women to copy her, she even has so called 'fluffers' lined up for her next event.

Women who sell sex indirectly make things worse for other, usually young women. It sets up back, it prevents us from being taken seriously, it feeds into rape culture and sexual harassment.

Holy fucking shit, that's on them! Committed men line up for their chance to be one of the 100 in a day, and you blame the woman for the harm to their partners? And also for when men rape women? Are you serious? (Of course you are. This isn't a new attitude. It's all over MN and the world.)

I know I'm pushing water uphill with this. There's just no end to women being blamed for everything men do. But my God it's depressing. At least you're not salivating with tongue emojis and saying she deserves to be raped, so...yay?

NewBootsWeather · 13/12/2024 10:30

Why does it have to be one or the other that gets blamed?

Every single person involved in this is vile including the people who work for her. Man or woman.

Tallzaragirl · 13/12/2024 10:32

@NonPlayerCharacter of course it's the men's fault. I'm not saying it isn't.

I also didn't say that she deserved to be raped.

But she's not only hurting herself either and her actions do hurt other women.

SleeplessInWherever · 13/12/2024 10:36

Sorry - how is it men’s fault?

Yes they’re at fault for turning up and taking part, quite why someone would want to be man #78 or whatever is beyond me.

But she organised it, opened the applications for it, recorded it. Surely we’re not suggesting she’s innocent here?

Tbh I don’t actually care what other women choose to do with their own bodies, but it was absolutely a choice to do it. They didn’t turn up for no reason.

Tallzaragirl · 13/12/2024 10:37

Men should behave decently. We know that.

But many (the majority?) don't/won't and that's been proven.

But every time another woman voluntarily sells themselves just because they can. Or makes comments like "women should stop moaning and put some underwear on because men deserve to be treated". They are shitting on other women.

While Lily and Bonnie are doing what they do there'll be another woman being murdered in a sex game gone wrong where the man gets away with it.

That's what the sex industry does.

ObieJoyful · 13/12/2024 10:49

I felt sad when I heard she was planning it. It has echoes of those women who get more and more stuff pumped into their lips and boobs because they normalise the look to the extent that they need to go bigger and bigger (think Katie Price). It’s a form of self harm.

I can’t imagine anyone with good MH thinking that this would be a good idea.

As for the men- fucking hideous bastards.

Tallzaragirl · 13/12/2024 11:58

I've watched the documentary on YouTube. It's worth a watch if anyone is interested.

It is hard not to feel a bit sorry for Lily.

She didn't know that you could catch STIs/HIV from oral sex. It was clear that she hadn't thought about the danger to her life/safety if a dangerous man got through.

She admitted that she often feels lonely and isn't sure how she will ever have a normal relationship. She admits that the porn industry is damaging to women.

She's very young. I think that she must have been raped or sexually assaulted at some point purely because she's been in so many risky situations.

NewBootsWeather · 13/12/2024 12:07

@Tallzaragirl she does come across as vulnerable but then days after she is back to copying Bonnie and talking about the 1,000 men.

How much money is she actually making?

Where are her family?

That's what I want to know.

There are an awful lot of apologists on here. I am all for liberty, but the degradation of a woman like this is unacceptable to me, and most in a civilised society. Thankfully.

She chose to degrade herself though. She didn’t have to do it. She could have stopped it at any time. But she didn’t.

BeardofHagrid · 13/12/2024 14:38

The end of the documentary was much more affecting than I expected.

When she was answering questions Lily’s eyes dart to the left and her brows would furrow slightly, I think it’s because she knows what she’s saying (“I love my job sooo much”) isn’t true and because it’s causing conflict within her to have to lie. She probably did love it when it was just glamour modelling in lingerie but not now she has to sleep with civvies.

The PA is quite clearly Lily’s madam as she apparently masterminded the stunt.

Then Lily at the end, “It was almost like being a prostitute.” Nothing almost about it though, is there.

I can totally see that the PA and the rest of the team have her hooked on drugs and will now just keep her in this drugged up manic state pimping her out to the world, making as much money as possible until she is literally on her deathbed.

Watching this video took me back to Louis Theroux’s documentary inside a Nevada brothel, really anxiety inducing and difficult to watch.

I hope she can escape but at this point she seems to be in too deep.

I have read the whole thread. I don't know who this person is, but the OP keeps talking about her crying and being distressed after this happened. The video that was posted, by the OP, shows the woman with what I would describe as watery eyes. She doesn't appear to be particularly distressed, she isn't weeping, she isn't screaming, she isn't doing anything that I would describe as distressed behavior. She did say in the video that this behavior was not for the weak, as though she's brave or strong for doing this. Is there a video that shows her actually in distress?

She’s also had an interview since and she said she’s still considering 1000 men in 1 day. Someone traumatised wouldn’t still be questioning doing that.

NewBootsWeather · 13/12/2024 14:58

@steff13 No, that's it.

NewBootsWeather · 13/12/2024 15:00

@BeardofHagrid she's not being held hostage.

stripeyshutters · 13/12/2024 15:08

The whole thing is repulsive- her and the men. Who wants to go near someone who has already been " active" to put it politely with loads of men before you. Sex is messy and involves fluids and to do this - 🤮. Who wants to have this mess with men one after the other. Sloppy seconds doesn't even touch it.

This is it, they're so clearly profiting from her and don't give a damn about her wellbeing. Her gleeful assistant disgusted me.

My heart breaks for her 🥺. I think she thinks she's in too deep and needs someone to save her, but there's no-one

I agree, as a straight woman I would find any man indulging in this as repulsive and deviant as the woman doing this and wouldn’t touch with a barge pole. All 101 of them are now connected in a very sick manner.

but then what if and yes the whole experiment is distasteful, but what if someone openly says its for the fame and money, simples, no ifs no psychological issues etc plain and simple thy want the fame and money,

would society ever accept that as thir reasons or will some of society always try to presume they ar doing it for other reasons because they cannot fathom how much someone would want riches and fame, over all the stress of a 9-5 type job etc

I mean, if she was wailing and rolling around on the floor, people would say it was fake

The emotion was so clearly a real moment, in what is a very unreal world she's promoting. At the end she had to be comforted by someone whilst she cried.

Young people do stupid things. There rarely is a perfect victim. A victim in this context will have to play the part and I think that's clearly what she's doing, playing up to the camera and saying it's her fantasy.

I think that the real lily is lost and scared and thinks she has no way back.

Just because we can't see a hard looking pimp holding a gun to her head, doesn't mean she's not under pressure from those around her.

No woman would choose to do that, and I feel so badly for this girl who's fucked up spectacularly

I think that there are plenty of porn stars and only fans people who are in it for the money. They're usually sane and clear headed. Lily, imo, isn't one of them

but without an official psychologist etc all we are is guessing at what we think x so until otherwise and as people have pointed out about the tiktok interviews etc it is about fame and money and encouraging others partners to cheat on their spouses

yes if im wrong im wrong but if we are to take people at face value on their actions then its upto qualified expert's to actually say whats what

the only different with only fans and other porn starts are the number of people in one go from the seems of it
