AIBU to feel completely distressed by the viral video of the aftermath of onlyfans worker Lily P 'sleeping with' 100 men?

I've tried to word this carefully.

Lily, an onlyfans star, aged 20something I'm guessing, slept with 100 men in one go, as part of a documentary.

Following this, she's on camera crying. She says her eyes hurt as some of the men ejaculated in them, despite her saying no.

My heart is broken for this girl. Im a feminist but I've never thought of sex work as being empowering?

Surely, the empowerment of sex work has failed this poor girl? And surely the 100 men who agreed to do this are criminals???

I'm so angry. You could see in the video that Lily is realising what a mistake this was and is very traumatised.

Anyway, didn't see a thread on this so thought I'd post. My heart goes out to her, and my brain feels very angry at those who failed to protect her.

I've seen the others and my opinion remains the same

I'm unsure what to think.

I'd just like to know where her family are in all of this.

I had a brief fling with an ex who had some trauma stemming from childhood. He was also responsible for his actions as an adult. He kept a spreadsheet listing the women he had been with and would film women doing all sorts of things with him so he had his own homemade stash of porn with women. I think he sees it as a power move, similar to how many onlyfans people think it’s “empowering” , but I believe he is also degrading himself and is making his mental health worse. The same applies to many women too.

I was so put off I did not sleep with him (and later found out he was sleeping with multiple other woman the month I was seeing him) and to this day he tries to hound me as he reckons we have unfinished business.

Anyway, my point is really just to say that two things can be true. Someone may or may not be traumatised, but that doesn’t meant they don’t have some element of responsibility as an adult. I do think it’s a sad situation as I feel it an act of self harm which she may live to regret, but I also believe she’s also harming many others and for the sake of money and fame. Again two things can be true.

I kind of get what you mean but a man filming women without their consent is completely different to what lily is doing.

I don't see him as degrading himself as deciding to take his anger out on women by abusing them

it does not say it was not with consent

Yeah those gross men definitely consented to be filmed but just to be clear - I’m not saying my ex was filming the women without consent (although I do know of a sick man who did that too which is another story!)

Basically I don’t think how he lived was healthy or beneficial to him or the woman who got involved with him.

Back then I used to think I could rescue men like that. Thankfully I came to my senses and realised that as sad as his trauma was he was also very toxic and leaving a trail of destruction behind him.

i think from the posts i was trying to make is sometimes people do make omg choices but then that's part of having the agency and freedom to make those choices even if general society thinks its omg, and that not everyone that is cold towards manipulation of others or getting others to cheat on their partners or wanting x men for an experiment etc is necessary psychological in need of treatment etc, some people are different mindsets towards different subjects

Ah my mistake. So he had all the women's consent to film them?
Keeping a spreadsheet is strange, but like you said it could be a form of control.

It reads to me like an abusive man documenting the women he's slept with so he can shame them should they pipe up.

Still, thankfully you didn't get sucked in. With people like this, you can't always help when they're on the path to self destruction, I agree 🥺

Sorshpans · 13/12/2024 16:51

Oh he definitely was abusive! He was also deeply troubled and constantly in conflict with his (male) friends.

Well many of these women who were with him were in my wider social circle and weren’t shy in coming forward to say they were one of the 250 :/ I think in his head, each woman he slept with was some kind of conquest that he wanted to record.

Absolutely! He’s now married, all I can say is good luck to his wife - genuinely 😔

zingally · 13/12/2024 16:55

My reaction was pretty much a slow shake of the head and a thought of "that sad, silly little girl."

NewBootsWeather · 13/12/2024 19:15

Just seen another interview and she's saying she's always had good mental health and has a supportive family. She's also bought property outright.

Petrasings · 13/12/2024 19:19

Ummm most psychologists would raise an eyebrow - where would you even start with ‘ I have always had good mental health’……and a ‘supportive family’ no less…Hmmm

Why can I only think of Britney Spears as I type this…

She's very happy about the properties she's bought outright.

Petrasings · 13/12/2024 19:21

Some pp on here REALLY want to believe this isn’t seriously damaging her. Clearly it very much is.

Mrsphilmiller · 11/12/2024 09:53

what the fuck was she thinking???

I mean, this.

It's like me going into a pie shop, eating all the pies and then complaining I'm overweight.

Sure thing. Because that’s going to make up for being HIV positive or worse.

Never said its not damaging her. She's not crying on any other interviews though.

Petrasings · 13/12/2024 19:23

This poor young woman needs help, and lots of it. Anyone that thinks otherwise is just completely deluded.

You are quite sick and depraved.

I hope this young woman is given the care and support she needs and deserves.

I'm not. I'm just stating facts. This thread is going to end.

I hope she doesn't do the 300/1000 men.

Petrasings · 13/12/2024 19:26

I hope sincerely she puts this behind her and has a far better future.

NewBootsWeather · 13/12/2024 19:27

I hope she does stop and gets help but it seems the money is more important.

I wonder if it’s easier to believe she’s mentally vulnerable and needs help, than believe she just wanted to and likes money.

Petrasings · 13/12/2024 19:27

God willing there are some people around her that will help her through this.
