I've tried to word this carefully.

Lily, an onlyfans star, aged 20something I'm guessing, slept with 100 men in one go, as part of a documentary.

Following this, she's on camera crying. She says her eyes hurt as some of the men ejaculated in them, despite her saying no.

My heart is broken for this girl. Im a feminist but I've never thought of sex work as being empowering?

Surely, the empowerment of sex work has failed this poor girl? And surely the 100 men who agreed to do this are criminals???

I'm so angry. You could see in the video that Lily is realising what a mistake this was and is very traumatised.

Anyway, didn't see a thread on this so thought I'd post. My heart goes out to her, and my brain feels very angry at those who failed to protect her.

I am not in two minds about sex work. The number of people who are truly doing it because they want to do it and not because they are disturbed or have no other option must be pretty tiny in reality.

There was a documentary some years ago called the Annabel Chong story about a porn star who had sex with over 200 min in 10 hrs. It showed her telling her parents about what she was doing, her mom balling, it showed how she made so little money from doing it and the AIDs tests she did after it. It actually disturbed me and put me off sex for some time. It turned me off men so much. It's clearly a publicity stunt and I hope she's the one making money out if this and not anyone else. Putting yourself in danger like this for money though? She's not well in the head, even if it's greed and stupidity, I feel sorry for her and her family.

how do you propose she was protected? She is an adult presumably with adequate capacity to make her own decisions about herself and her body.

That is the problem though, when someone is suffering from poor mental health, that they will sometimes do things that are not in their own, best interests. I honestly do not think that she is acting from a place of good, sound mental health.

I don't think it will sadly. There was a woman in the 00s, Annabel Chong, who did an even bigger gang bang film (250+ men). There was a documentary at the time which revealed some of the men hadn't been thoroughly screened for HIV and she didn't receive the $10,000 fee she was promised for the film, and the record for most-men-slept-with was broken a few months later by another porn star. It was very depressing.

I started a thread on this the other day as she presents herself as a feminist.

I was concerned that feminism has been twisted to mean anything a woman does, even if it's harmful to herself or other women, is feminist.
