A leaked French medical report from 2023 has confirmed that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is male.

Top endocrinologists found that Khelif has XY chromosomes, no uterus, internal testicles, and a "micropenis."

The report was drafted in June of 2023 via a collaboration between the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital in Paris, France, and the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hospital in Algiers, Algeria. Drafted by expert endocrinologists Soumaya Fedala and Jacques Young, the report reveals that Khelif is impacted by 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a disorder of sexual development that is only found in biological males.

Wasn't he trying to sue JK Rowling?

BloodandGlitter · 04/11/2024 14:14

Don't users of this website usually need a "proper" source before quoting any information as fact? Friends of a missing women were accused of being a troll just this morning because there was no news article to back them up.

I think it's much more disgusting that we're letting heat up women in the name of sport. But we all have different priorities, hmm?

All boxers competing in women's boxing beat women up. Some are killed. Strange how people aren't so worked up about that on MN. Apparently it is not a problem if the person throwing the punch has an XX chromosome.

It’s disgusting that this person has complete randomers discussing such intimate details of their body like this. Aside from sports or medals, they deserve not to have this information out there so that User1234 from Nowhereville can smugly announce it online. Human decency seems totally lacking.

Oh give over! When that male person stole a woman's glory and publicly punched a woman in the face, as well as stood by SMIRKING when she was crying, he is a thug and cheat and deserves it because he cheated!

LBFseBrom · 04/11/2024 14:05

Poor soul. Imagine having all that personal stuff (internal testes, micropenis), being made public.

He should have thought about that before he beat women up.

OvaHere · 04/11/2024 14:15

TiredEyesSoreHeart · 04/11/2024 14:11

Seriously? Of course he knew! He went through male puberty. How could he not have known at puberty? Even after that, he had not one but two tests that proved he was male, so he knew then, as well! He knowingly got in the ring, knowing he was male. And his SMIRK as he stood beside Angela Carini when she broke down in tears, was the most cruel, hateful, vicious and vile act from a male.

I still haven't forgotten this months later. It was sickening. As were the sporting commentators pretending it was all fine and she was just a bad sport.

yourhairiswinterfire · 04/11/2024 14:08

IOC should hang their heads in shame and demand his medal back.

They won't.

Tyson Fury could change his passport to female, walk into the ring naked helicoptering his dick so there's no doubt at all about his sex, beat the shit out a woman, and that would be fine by the IOC because their rules allow men, DSD or not, to batter women as long as that man's passport has an 'F' on it.

And the 'poor menz' posters on here would still pop up defending him.

murasaki · 04/11/2024 14:16

People would be outraged if I tried to identify into the under 10 boxing and beat up children. What, in reality, is the difference?

He's a cheat and he knows it. And so do the IOC.

Do you have a reputable source for this claim? That website you linked is clearly not a legitimate source.

It clearly is a very legitimate source. And all their articles have always been sourced with names, and never once has their credibility been called into question.

What a pathetic response. As if that in any way addresses the issues of woman's rights and men cheating to steal women's medals.

LOL you might talk this way too if you were standing in front of him in the boxing ring. Easy to be kind until you get punched in the face by a man.

TiredEyesSoreHeart · 04/11/2024 14:18

Chersfrozenface · 04/11/2024 14:00

Unfortunately not, because by competing they accepted the IOC's rules.

Which are unconscionably wrong.

But would they have competed if they had known they were fighting a male?

An argument could be made they were lured to sign under false pretences and the fight wasn't fair, and there wasn't informed consent.

TheKeatingFive · 04/11/2024 14:18

Errors · 04/11/2024 14:10

Not remotely surprised.
Anyone know how he is getting on with taking JKR to court? 🤔

This was totally misrepresented. It was an appeal to the French authorities on the grounds of harassment. It wasn't a lawsuit as we would know it and JKR was not specified (or only as an example). It would have been up to the French authorities to involve her. Which presumably, they are too smart to do.

And you know how that could have been avoided? By not competing in a high profile women's contact sport.
Or are we all just look away, and pretend, while women get the shit beaten out of them and their medals stolen?
Be kind, just not to women.

'Won't you think of the poor men?'

No, no I won't.

What's monstrous is that you are defending a bloke who knew he was a cheating man and still decided to exploit his health condition to beat up women in the boxing ring.

Where to start with this.
You do understand in the first place why they have male and female sporting categories, right?

I see. You're one of those people who doesn't understand the massive difference in strength between men and women. being punched by another woman is just not comparable.

What everyone thinks about boxing as a sport is irrelevant. It exists as a competitive sport therefore the sporting authorities have a duty to fairness and safety as far as they possibly can.

Personal feelings about boxing are irrelevant. Women competing against other women is up to them. Men boxing against unsuspecting women is abominable, or at least it is to most of us - not you though it would appear.

Hunglikeapolevaulter · 04/11/2024 14:20

It's considerably fucking less of a problem in terms of risk, yes!

WitchesButter · 04/11/2024 14:20

WetBandits · 04/11/2024 13:30

I still don’t agree with the witch hunt. If Khelif reasonably believed themselves to be female and had been brought up as female since birth without knowing about the chromosomal disorder, they were not acting as a man boxing against women. Intent counts here, I think.

If they knew and still competed, that is a different story.

One look in the mirror might have given "her" the answer

SidewaysOtter · 04/11/2024 14:20

Well colour me fucking surprised, not just that he is a man but that it was known and covered up.

Of course, men's feelings and identities must come before women's safety and biological reality - to say otherwise makes us monsters Hmm
