A leaked French medical report from 2023 has confirmed that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is male.

Top endocrinologists found that Khelif has XY chromosomes, no uterus, internal testicles, and a "micropenis."

The report was drafted in June of 2023 via a collaboration between the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital in Paris, France, and the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hospital in Algiers, Algeria. Drafted by expert endocrinologists Soumaya Fedala and Jacques Young, the report reveals that Khelif is impacted by 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a disorder of sexual development that is only found in biological males.

He robbed women of their place, their medals and the years of training, it's a disgrace!

Shameful, both he and the IOC and all of the people who have supported him ought to be ashamed.

This is sanctioned violence against women.

Men have no place in women's sport. Not the ones with DSD's nor the ones who identify as women.

Women matter.

Absolutely 💯

I still don’t agree with the witch hunt. If Khelif reasonably believed themselves to be female and had been brought up as female since birth without knowing about the chromosomal disorder, they were not acting as a man boxing against women. Intent counts here, I think.

If they knew and still competed, that is a different story.

The way he behaved with male coaches etc after cheating winning tells you everything. He and all the other men around him knows what he is.

Can you imagine a female Muslim boxer being carried in triumph on the coach’s shoulders? No. Thought not.

It’s disgusting that this person has complete randomers discussing such intimate details of their body like this. Aside from sports or medals, they deserve not to have this information out there so that User1234 from Nowhereville can smugly announce it online. Human decency seems totally lacking.

He needs to give his gold medals back. The IOC should be ashamed and apologise to all those women who got brutally punched by a man in the boxing ring.

According to Sharron Davies, the IOC had this medical report. I don't know if this is accurate though.

But either way, according the IOC's statements during the Olympics, I imagine this doesn't actually matter. They said that the rule was having a female passport. So no rules have been broken here.

To be clear, I do not think this should have been allowed. Out of all sports, boxing should be the strictest on this. But I don't think the IOC will be saying "oh yes, we were wrong and this was against the rules."

He gave up the right to privacy the minute he decided to beat women up in the Olympics.

I have no sympathy for him. If he hadn't lied and the IOC hadn't lied his private information would not be known to the world.

HE has caused this, no one else.

Is that the same or different human decency that involves a biological man punching a biological woman?

Gettingbysomehow · 04/11/2024 13:53

Funny how nobody listened to those of us who shouted about it we were just trans hating witches no questions about it.

I agree, men bullshitting their way into punching women smacks of lack of human decency.

holju · 04/11/2024 13:53

Even if you have some sympathy for Khelif, the collusion of the IOC in this was disgraceful. A man beating up a woman was broadcast on daytime television while people cheered him on. It felt utterly dystopian.

KoalaCalledKevin · 04/11/2024 13:53

SpudleyLass · 04/11/2024 13:42

I believe its the same DSD as Caster Semenya.

If this is the case, you have a ludicrous system where someone is ineligible to run the 800m against women because it's unfair, but is allowed to box them.

Would you say this if your daughter had been in the boxing ring against him?

nauticant · 04/11/2024 13:53

If only there had been a way for Khelif's sex to have not become such an issue of valid public interest.

CosmicRoomster · 04/11/2024 13:55

Human decency was certainly lacking when he was allowed to compete and win against women.

The processes of any sports committee is letting down all women if they continue to allow these men to cheat. That’s what has opened up the speculation.

It’s about time women stood up for women instead of some that constantly centre men - at this point I fully believe it’s an ingrained fawn response, because surely no one is stupid enough to believe a man should compete against women.

NewGreenDuck · 04/11/2024 13:55

On another point, would it be possible for his opponents to sue the Olympics committee for allowing him to compete and cheat them out of medals, and for injury?

HazelLion · 04/11/2024 13:56

Do you have a reputable source for this claim? That website you linked is clearly not a legitimate source.

The IOC knowingly let at least one and almost certainly two male fighters win gold by punching female boxers. They could have avoided all this and taken scrutiny off individual fighters by having some sex verification process. Instead they said testing for sex was impossible and passports were all that was necessary.

DieStrassensindimmernass · 04/11/2024 13:57

He was clearly male, no matter what lies anyone told him or that he told himself.

The test that confirmed he was male was last year. The Olympics were this year. Go figure.

Reasonably believed themselves to be about eight inches taller and a complete different body shape to all the other women in the village… or indeed in the rest of the country…..okay then.

Unfortunately not, because by competing they accepted the IOC's rules.

Which are unconscionably wrong.

I think it's much more disgusting that we're letting heat up women in the name of sport. But we all have different priorities, hmm?

TheKeatingFive · 04/11/2024 14:03

We all knew this. Not that it matters though, because the IOC don't give a damn.
