A leaked French medical report from 2023 has confirmed that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is male.

Top endocrinologists found that Khelif has XY chromosomes, no uterus, internal testicles, and a "micropenis."

The report was drafted in June of 2023 via a collaboration between the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital in Paris, France, and the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hospital in Algiers, Algeria. Drafted by expert endocrinologists Soumaya Fedala and Jacques Young, the report reveals that Khelif is impacted by 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a disorder of sexual development that is only found in biological males.

It’s disgusting that this person has complete randomers discussing such intimate details of their body like this. Aside from sports or medals, they deserve not to have this information out there so that User1234 from Nowhereville can smugly announce it online. Human decency seems totally lacking.

He showed no human decency to the women whose medals he stole, and to those whose places at the Olympics he took. Why do you not think that is important?

Blaggoshpereish · 04/11/2024 14:04

I feel like we already knew this … and idiotic stupid IOC panel of men, decided that anyone without a penis was a woman.

LBFseBrom · 04/11/2024 14:05

Poor soul. Imagine having all that personal stuff (internal testes, micropenis), being made public.

I still don’t agree with the witch hunt. If Khelif reasonably believed themselves to be female and had been brought up as female since birth without knowing about the chromosomal disorder, they were not acting as a man boxing against women. Intent counts here, I think.

If they knew and still competed, that is a different story.

Edited

I’m afraid I don’t believe for one second that Imane thinks he’s female. He doesn’t behave like someone socialised female in a Muslim country - a woman would have definitely avoided being hoisted onto the shoulders of men, would have worn a hijab out voting when all women around him were covering their hair and would not be hugging and high fiving men.

There is also the questionable family photograph that appeared to show him dressed as a little boy - I don’t even think his family thought he was a girl.

Btw does anyone want to see my surprised face? 🥸

Reasonably believed themselves to be about eight inches taller and a complete different body shape to all the other women in the village… or indeed in the rest of the country…..okay then.

He can't have believed he was female. He wasn't required to cover his hair, he was backslapped and hugged and high-fived by men (which they wouldn't have done to women) and he was hoisted onto his team's shoulders, legs around their necks, and paraded around — which would have been unacceptable for a Muslim man to do to a Muslim woman. Everyone around him knew: he may well have been targeted for a career in sport because of this DSD.

He didn't have to go down the road of competing in women's sport, though did he?

He could simply have not competed in boxing against women.
Nobody would be saying anything then.

TiredEyesSoreHeart · 04/11/2024 14:07

His own trainer admitted he was male months back. Even after that people were still pretending he is female.

That wasn't even their criteria. It was anyone with an F on a passport.

@WetBandits and anyone else who continues this bizarre defense of the cheating man. If you didn't know this, now you do. No excuses.

yourhairiswinterfire · 04/11/2024 14:08

IOC should hang their heads in shame and demand his medal back.

They won't.

Tyson Fury could change his passport to female, walk into the ring naked helicoptering his dick so there's no doubt at all about his sex, beat the shit out a woman, and that would be fine by the IOC because their rules allow men, DSD or not, to batter women as long as that man's passport has an 'F' on it.

murasaki · 04/11/2024 14:08

Normally the international federation for each sport sets the rules. But the IOC refused to accept the IBF's authority due to some links with Russia and financial disputes which may or may not be true. So they got to set the rules for boxing and fucked up immensely. Both male boxers had failed the IBF's tests.

OMG — he punched women dangerously hard, he could have killed them and he denied one woman a gold medal and the woman who should have won the bronze out of the medal tables. And you're feeling sorry for him? He's a cheat.

Nobody would be discussing it if he, aided and abetted by his male coaches and the IOC, hadn't decided to cheat and put women at great risk of harm.

I have zero sympathy for a situation that was easily avoidable if those involved had any human decency.

wombat15 · 04/11/2024 14:04

I agree.

If he didn't try to compete as a woman, and against women, then nobody would be discussing his male body.

Errors · 04/11/2024 14:10

Not remotely surprised.
Anyone know how he is getting on with taking JKR to court? 🤔

ChishiyaBat · 04/11/2024 14:10

wombat15 · 04/11/2024 14:04

I agree.

@user1471500282 what is disgusting is the hatred women got at the time for pointing out that he was male, ehat's disguting is how he robbed women and battered them on live tv when he knew he was male.
So @wombat15 you agree that a man beating a woman, women losing their medals, years of training and places in the olympics is disgusting and lacking in human decency?

He ought to get his undescended testes dealt with, it can cause huge problems in other mammals if the testes don't descend.

It’s funny, my version of human decency is a man not registering as a female athlete in order to punch women hard in the face and win medals. He clearly knows he’s male, why did he persist in this lie? Whatever happened to doing the right thing, sportsmanship and ooh, human decency??

Sex based on what's on your passport - what a cop out by the IOC and his national sports body

Seriously? Of course he knew! He went through male puberty. How could he not have known at puberty? Even after that, he had not one but two tests that proved he was male, so he knew then, as well! He knowingly got in the ring, knowing he was male. And his SMIRK as he stood beside Angela Carini when she broke down in tears, was the most cruel, hateful, vicious and vile act from a male.

ForYouAndForMe · 04/11/2024 14:13

Well, well, well. There are nice people in the world and then there are not very nice people. Here we have a not very nice person. At the end of the day, it's about being a decent human being and having the humility and honesty to do the right thing rather than going for personal gain. This person did not do the right thing. And the Olympic committee supported it. Shameful.

ToMeToYou2 · 04/11/2024 14:13
