A leaked French medical report from 2023 has confirmed that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is male.

Top endocrinologists found that Khelif has XY chromosomes, no uterus, internal testicles, and a "micropenis."

The report was drafted in June of 2023 via a collaboration between the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital in Paris, France, and the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hospital in Algiers, Algeria. Drafted by expert endocrinologists Soumaya Fedala and Jacques Young, the report reveals that Khelif is impacted by 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a disorder of sexual development that is only found in biological males.

This degrades the Olympics. They were for amateur sportspeople, now it appears to be all about the money, and old fashioned, unpopular ideas of genuine sportsmanship, or womanship, have gone out of the window.
It costs millions to stage, and standards have plummeted. The drugs tests seem flawed, and if they can’t tell a man from a woman, what is the point of them? Cheats are allowed to win. This is not the Olympic spirit, is it.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 07/11/2024 16:14

My MiL, an Olympian in the 1930s, would be outraged by all this bad behaviour.

The IOC have avoided facing this issue for years, passing it back to the local and national sports organisations.
And it has finally come back to bite them on their arse.

Does anyone else think Iman Khelif does not have a DSD at all?

It had crossed my mind, yes.

CowboyJoanna · 07/11/2024 18:46

Yep. I think he is a 100% TIM. But because transgenderism is (rightfully but for the wrong reasons) illegal in Algeria, he's invented this stupid DSD story to get into the women's olympics.

Yes, it could very well be that. I can see why he'd not say he was trans, jd agree with his decision there, but he's a selfish lying bastard whatever way the cookie crumbles.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 07/11/2024 19:13

I think it's a possibility but the leaked report points to ARD.

As in, he doesn’t have internal testes and a micropenis but normal male genitalia?

Exactly

Chersfrozenface · 07/11/2024 19:50

That's not what the leaked report says.

"Top endocrinologists found that Khelif has XY chromosomes, no uterus, internal testicles, and a "micropenis.""

Katkins17 · 07/11/2024 19:51

Yep...it's as if we're all surprised !

Lots of normal men have tinky winkies Grin

I think if you've put yourself in the shop window of the Olympics, your privacy regarding your chromosomes should be discounted.

Khelif is refusing to prove they are a woman because, well, he can't. if he was, he would and the furore would all go away.

I agree. If you are wanting to compete in a protected (female) criteria it’s fine for your eligibility to be questioned.

Or - like the majority of athletes want - they could bring back the screening cheek swab. And if you are XY and are androgen sensitive (have gone through a male puberty) you’re ineligible. Compete in the men’s category, or call it “open” or whatever.

Bearing in mind that in competition urinary drug testing means that the tester needs to actually see the urine leave the competitor’s urethra. If you’re competing at that level some aspects of privacy are overridden by the importance of fair competition.

Totally this. He's a man, and knows he is.

HaddyAbrams · 07/11/2024 22:05

DS2 thinks we should go back to how the Olympics were originally in ancient Greece. Naked men competing. He does think there should also be a female category.
It would be easy to see 99.9% of people's biological sex then!

I'm a bit concerned about naked relay racing though.

Just because he has a micropenis does not entitle him to beat up women and steal their sports prizes. Surely they will strip him of the medal he wrongly received now.

The IOC has a get out clause - they said quite clearly that they rely on 'gender' as seen on a passport, and that's what they did. So in their eyes they've done nothing wrong and I doubt they'll be giving medals back anytime soon. I hope they feel thoroughly ashamed but somehow I doubt it.

The IOC is captured by the gender ideologues and must be forced to bring back sex testing. We don't agreed with men in women's sports and the only way to stop it is if we clearly know who is a woman.

OuterSpaceCadet · 08/11/2024 09:53

Wow I didn't know that about urine testing. I have many questions about how the fuck that works in practice!!

But a cheek swab is hardly invasive compared to routine stuff like smear tests and mammograms that women endure in every day life.

Apparently it is undignified to have one’s sex category even questioned by those needing to verify category eligibility.

As a lot of irritated women on Twitter pointed out in response to Adam Rutherford's wheedling nonsense.

hotoyo · 08/11/2024 15:14

Surely in light of situations such as this the IOC have a duty of care to women to change their current practices in order to prevent a woman from EVER being in a fight with a man??!!!!
