I find that photo very uncomfortable. Especially compared to her school photo.

Dreadfully sad. Poor girl.

crumblingschools · 14/10/2024 18:41

The three adults involved are evil. Where are the other children?

MabelMoo23 · 14/10/2024 18:42

I made the mistake of reading the news article. It might actually give me nightmares.

4 months she didn’t attend school. 4 months. Never mind fining parents for taking their kids out of school for 10 days because they can’t afford a holiday. 4 months!!!! Where the fuck was the local authority or social services?????

I hope you are finally at peace Sara and will never be frightened or in pain again.

Daleksatemyshed · 14/10/2024 18:43

I hope the person who ordered the poor girl to go and live with these people is haunted by this horrible crime. Looking at the posts on MN it's high time the rules around visitation and the rulings of the family court were completely revamped.

Male violence against a female yet again. There's something fundamentally wrong in this world.

Fundamentally wrong with the way that men & boys are raised, and then encouraged, to think they have power over women because they are men and women are women.

CabraCadabra · 14/10/2024 18:45

That's is so horrific.

neonjumper · 14/10/2024 18:45

I'm sure I read somewhere that they withdraw her from school under the guise of homeschooling!

Sorry for the daily mail link but Jesus fucking Christ this is beyond awful

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13958665/sara-sharif-burned-tied-bite-marks-murder-trial.html

when will this ever end?

I needed access to my medical records recently and it's recorded on there that I was raped and sexually abused by my father for years. I was forced to see him every weekend for a further 2 years after it was noted, missed every Monday off school and unable to walk. I was 9 years old and it's taken a lot of therapy knowing it was on my medical record and nobody cared. Unfortunately I don't think things will ever change.

Rest in peace beautiful girl

EnfysPreseli · 14/10/2024 18:52

I've always thought using that particular photo for articles about Sara's death was very unsettling. It's even more uncomfortable now that there are more details about her treatment before she was murdered. That poor, poor child.

youhavenoshameonyourface · 14/10/2024 18:52

I'd like to know if Sara's older brother has been put back into the care of their real mother. Sara and her brother were both taken away by the father.

Sara's real mother must be absolutely broken by this.

MummyMags3 · 14/10/2024 18:53

The ba**ard’s burnt that poor child with a household iron. I caught my arm on the tip of the iron and that hurt, so to deliberately burn her buttocks with an iron!!! Its unimaginable. The broken bones and everything. They left her in bed as if she was sleeping and got on a plane and left the country. Horrendous

Timelash · 14/10/2024 18:56

youhavenoshameonyourface · 14/10/2024 18:24

How are people charged with murder allowed to refuse anything like that?

Presumably because there’s no valid reason to refuse, so by doing so you more or less admit it was you.

All of them are disgusting.

Heartbreaking, I hope you have manged to get on with your life with peace and happiness.

I also hope the three people who are involved in the torture and eventual murder of this gorgeous little girl suffer for the rest of their miserable lives.

ArabellaScott · 14/10/2024 18:57

Horrific. See the current MN.campaign re family courts. The people who sent Sara to live with her father share some blame for this tragic outcome.

Poor, poor child.

MrsRobinsonsHandprints · 14/10/2024 18:59

@TashaTudor I put a thanks, but that wasn't what I meant. It was just a mark of support. I am so sorry to have read that. I am more sorry that you were let down so badly. I wish you well.

Family court gave her to her dad instead, and she says him and step mother made it more and more difficult for her to see her.
Horrific.

I think family courts should be held accountable for their part in facilitating the abuse of children.

hotpotlover · 14/10/2024 19:00

What an absolute horrific read that was. I can't imagine how her poor mother must feel right now.

Think the step mother refuse to give teeth impressions.
They eliminated the bite marks were not from the males.
All.complicit in this horrific abuse.

Edited

Just disgusting all round

That poor child

Packingboxesneeded · 14/10/2024 19:03

I felt physically sick watching the evening news when they outlined the horrific abuse that poor little girl suffered in the weeks and months leading to her death. To have one evil sadistic fuckin scumbag in your home is unthinkable. But that poor little girl had 3 of them. I hope their cell doors are left unlocked one night.

Did you read the article??

not sure how much of a part in her killing the SM had, but she had plenty in the weeks of abusive.

MidnightPatrol · 14/10/2024 19:08

Awful.

what is ‘legally punished’ supposed to mean?

and biting a child… just… why?

And then for multiple adults to be aware and nothing to happen.

How does anyone end up being this violent and abusive? It’s grotesque.
