They see through the lens of ' my way or the highway' and enforcement in the same way.

They do. But most of those people actually can't debate it in any way that's fair or makes sense. They know this. It's always illuminating to see what happens when they have to. They get very angry. We sometimes see it from politicians in media interviews when they have to defend some nonsense statement they've made about "men" being pregnant or whatever.

Don't call India a man. India has been 100% pregnant and given birth but definitely isn't a man.

You bigot.

Didn't India walk a long way to use the 'women only' toilets instead of the 'trans inclusive ' toilets at an airport? Piggle's solution won't fix that.

India Willoughby claims to be biologically female and have a cervix.

India Willoughby has also fathered children.

Didn't you know that female body parts can either be grown by men or they can be fashioned from another body part, because that's all they are - parts. They aren't organs. Men apparently can have a cervix, a vulva and a vaginal canal. Next up is creating hearts from kidneys and ears from toes.

Yep. Hence my question earlier in the thread about what happens if we provide third spaces for trans people and they don't use them.

Yes. Out of malicious spite. It's just a malicious male 'marking his territory'.

Lies! What possible reason would a transwoman have for doing that?

Yep. Hence my question earlier in the thread about what happens if we provide third spaces for trans people and they don't use them.

The only people I can see using them are true gender dysphorics who try and blend in silently and mtob or trans men. It will not stop the very men we seek to keep out.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/09/2024 15:58

Nothing will stop them while people keep telling them it's ok to ignore women's boundaries.

A bit like when World Aquatics debuted an ‘Open’ category in their swimming world championships..

No one entered. This was a shocking turn of events.

Where I struggle with is how you are differentiating between cis-men and trans identified men? What is the tangible difference between those 2 groups of men, at what point does a cis man become a Trans identified man, what is the threshold and how do you identify that they have met it?

They're not, because they can't. They've wilfully refused to answer the question many, many times. Though apparently they'll send it in a secret PM, or not. And if you keep asking the awkward, unanswerable, question, they'll claim they're being bullied again.

ChungKing · 25/09/2024 16:01

It's almost like they don't just want privacy, safety and dignity, isn't it?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/09/2024 16:02

They didn't want their own category, they wanted to dominate the female one.

There's a simple solution, no changing room at all, wear uniform to work. It's what we do now. It's not seen as a requirement to provide at all for either sex.

I would have imagined that it's provided for nurses as they might get covered in bodily fluids when working so not particularly nice for them to have to go get in their car/go on public transport whilst covered in that.

Demonhunter · 25/09/2024 16:05

The GRA should have been repealed the minute same sex marriage was made legal and grandfather rights given to the <5k who had them prior to this.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/09/2024 16:06

Or for anyone else on the bus, in the supermarket etc.

It's clear from Hansard that one of the justifications given to dissenters is that it was only a tiny group.

Yes! Let's have a nurse whose been vomited on or got covered in blood during the course of a fairly average day, get the tube home like that.

Let's calculate the minutes before this was deemed 'problematic'.

Yep. Hence my question earlier in the thread about what happens if we provide third spaces for trans people and they don't use them.

We expected consideration and respect, we didn't get it so in my opinion it should be a criminal offence if males, however they identify, whether or not they have GRC, use female facilities.

Zebracat · 25/09/2024 16:09

I’m wondering if the transwoman nurse could use the male changing room if all the men in there said they identified as women?

theilltemperedclavecinist · 25/09/2024 16:10

Cudgelling my brains for a solution. Have decided that every venue needs secret lady facilities, whereabouts vouchsafed only to genuine ladies. Sign on door say: beware of leopard.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/09/2024 16:10

Should be fine, I reckon.

I think assuming that particular posters are men is a mistake. There are lots of female people enabling this agenda.
