OMG anyone else watching Shania Twain at Glasto?

She’s absolutely awful!

Her voice is harsh and rough, she’s out of tune and out of rhythm. Dreadful.

I thought it was my ears. She doesn’t sound good

IIRC her voice was damaged by a brush with a horrible virus (Lymes disease? from a tickbite?) but she can still stride a stage.

I suppose at least we know she’s singing live 😂

She’s no Dolly Parton, that’s for sure. Dolly rocked this slot.

She had an issue with her vocal cords and thought her voice would never fully return and is candid in saying it’s not the same - there is a bbc interview with her (Reel Stories) just a couple of weeks ago where she discusses the issue.

I’m dying here! She looks quite grumpy too. And resembles Beyoncé more than Shania Twain…

I think she’s always been over hyped so not surprised.

She's clearly having some issues with her ear piece which won't be helping her. Cyndi Lauper was also struggling with the ear piece so I think the sound people have a lot to answer for. Of course her voice won't be what it was as she had to have surgery.

Dolly Parton lip synced her slot.

She’s reminiscent of a drunk old bird singing karaoke in my local. Actually feel sorry for her.

True but therein lies the rub - have the crowd paid $$$ to see lipsync+ backing track or to hear the real thing, warts and all.

I’m sure she won’t, I bet it will put people off bothering to go and see her in future though. DD offered me tickets to see her in Hyde Park and I almost said yes. Glad I didn’t now!

Well I would hope that most people would hope that they present well and put on a good enough performance, it being her job and all

Why is there such aggression with things like this, 'she wont give a fuck what you think'. Well she isnt there for any other reason than to put on a performance, so its it does rather matter what the audience think doesnt it?

I thought I remembered all this from Diana Ross too, couldnt sing for toffee in the end.

Saw here recently and she's amazing. Some of the stuff written on here is just awful
