First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

So no. I won't be voting for extremists, ever.

PercyGherkin · 30/06/2024 10:20

What is it about the catalogue of misogynists and racists standing for Reform that appeals to you? Or are you just attracted by their fantasy of a “contract”? Cos it can’t just be “Ooh I don’t like the two main parties” because other candidates are available.

Confusedbythistreat · 30/06/2024 10:22

Er, nope.

There are Lib Dems and the Green Party you know??

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 30/06/2024 10:22

No I haven’t voted for them. They are disgusting and it shocks me anyone thinks they’re an option quite frankly

jeaux90 · 30/06/2024 10:23

Yes YABU for voting for anyone who thinks Andrew Tate has an important voice for men.

haveatye · 30/06/2024 10:23

That's like saying I'm sick of pasta and potatoes, I'm going to rub my face in shit instead

reelcat · 30/06/2024 10:24

No, because I am not a moron

Perfect analysis 👌🏻 ^^

CurlewKate · 30/06/2024 10:25

@MeadowL Why?

coffeeandteav · 30/06/2024 10:25

Absolutely not.

Have you read their ' manifesto'
🤦‍♀️

Movinghouseatlast · 30/06/2024 10:26

Voting for fascists is not the answer. Farage has already done his best to ruin this country.

This is how extremists gain power, people who don't have a brain in their heads.

Pemba · 30/06/2024 10:26

FGS, there are plenty of voting options, but Reform? Please rethink.

It is like voting for Hitler if you'd lived in Germany in the 1930s.

Sirzy · 30/06/2024 10:27

Which bit of their manifesto made you think they are the best option?

DaniMontyRae · 30/06/2024 10:27

Oh, so you think Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine is OK?

Whaleandsnail6 · 30/06/2024 10:28

As long as you have read manifestos of all potential parties and are making an informed and educated choice, vote for who you want to.

We live in a democracy and its up to you.

Sirzy · 30/06/2024 10:28

Sums up their views.

AIBU to vote reform
reelcat · 30/06/2024 10:28

@haveatye this!!! What a great way to summarise!

Shortfatsuit · 30/06/2024 10:28

There are other options available. Why would you pick the racist, misogynist, homophobic party?

Lonelycrab · 30/06/2024 10:28

So after 14 years of the Tories trashing the country, you want an even more extreme, turbo charged version of the same thing…
right hoConfused

Despair132 · 30/06/2024 10:29

Not at all, everyone I know is voting reform. Don’t believe everything you read obviously there is a force to stop people voting for change.

Pigeonqueen · 30/06/2024 10:30

And what policies of theirs do you support?

Because most of the people I know who are voting for them can’t even name any beyond the anti immigration stuff.

Merryoldgoat · 30/06/2024 10:30

This is a wind up, right @MeadowL ?

Are you enjoying yourself?

greengreyblue · 30/06/2024 10:31

You have a right to vote for anyone you choose. Only you know if their views align with yours. No one party is perfect. They’re definitely not for me though.
